I got the mocha frappe which didn’t taste like espresso. Also Tasted a little off probably a powder or something in it.. It is however a Very nice coffee shop to do work in or study. Very quiet. They stop serving sandwiches earlier than their closing time. So if your looking for a late snack probably not the spot for you.

Pretty good atmosphere and friendly, prompt service. Came in for coffee and to do some work but the internet connection was not very reliable.Side note — the big tv is literally brightest spot in an otherwise dim room, and seems weirdly out of place

Quaint and comfy coffee shop with unique drinks and typical light fare, at the expected price (which is somewhat expensive). You can really feel and see the shop’s intentionality in wanting you to be there and enjoy it. My drink, the horchata latte, was very good and enjoyable, although I don’t think I can attest to how high quality it was because I got it extra sweet, as I do most coffee (I know, a heinous crime in the coffee world). The service was fine - I noticed that they brought food out to the customers, which is awesome. However, as I was waiting at the front of the line for five minutes just to get the Wi-Fi password so I could get to a meeting I was already late to, the only employee working behind the counter at the time thought it would be better to make the previous customer’s latte before even saying hello. This made me frustrated, I’ll be honest, not just because all I wanted was the Wi-Fi password, but because it would have been much more efficient to take the orders of the only two customers in line, and then make the orders, instead of making one customer wait for another’s order to be done. Still, I also personally loved how obviously Christian they were, and I could tell by their events that they were invested in the community. I also think it’s cool that they serve ice cream, although I can’t imagine that’s very profitable for them, given that there are multiple other ice cream shops in town, and DL is only open till 7. But anyways, there’s my four star review.

Stopped in here in the middle of a bike ride for a mid ride coffee. Per the server’s suggestion, I got a double chocolate muffin as well and it was delicious! The latte was foamy and delicious. As an added bonus he refilled my water bottle. It was a beautiful day so I sat outside to enjoy the latte and treat. Fantastic!

Nothing against the staff, but the times I have been in, the two employees, especially on the weekends, are overwhelmed and overworked.The food is great, the atmosphere is relaxing, but I see many missed opportunities of people walking in, seeing a large slow moving crowd leave because no one wants to wait.

Coffee was FAR better than what we’ve gotten from the coffee shop down the street. Service was good; staff were friendlier than the other shop’s (and we’ve been to that shop on several occasions). However, be ready to get your coffee with a STRONG side of very in-your-face Jesus. Bit of a turnoff- makes it a tough call on whether to return to DL for the better coffee and try to ignore everything on the walls or go to the other shop for less quality coffee but a religion-free experience…

FANTASTIC coffee drinks, delicious, made to order sandwiches, paired with an amazing ice cream bar (with a large variety of menu options for each) makes this quaint shop my happy place! Whether I am on the go or settling in with friends, I can count on this small town eatery to provide a warm and inviting atmosphere along with friendly, wonderful service! Bravo, DL! I can't wait until my next visit!!

My favorite place in town to study and do computer work. Cozy and modern interior, baristas are friendly. The espresso blend they use (Peet’s) is just ok as far as they go, but the drinks are made consistently well and they have fun flavors. Drinks tend to be on the sweet side.

I stopped in for lunch and had been craving a mango smoothie. Being 9 months pregnant, this place hit the spot! I got a mango smoothie, chicken salad on croissant, chips, and an apple danish. Everything was delicious! I worked at a small mom-and-pop coffee shop myself for about 10 years and this place took me back! I would definitely recommend. I would much rather support a small local business than a chain store any day!

Horrible. Went to get a large coffee this morning and waited 17 minutes by the register. A curly haired guy was making coffees and a large group was there taking pictures by the couches, I wasn’t even acknowledged whatsoever. Yea, I get that you could be busy but at least acknowledge me. Walked out and bought my coffee elsewhere at Daily grind where I was acknowledged and helped within 45 seconds. Won’t be spending any more money at DL and it’s a shame because I’ve spent lots at DL.

I love Mom & Pop shops and restaurants. I also love country and faith / hope based themes. Combine the two into a coffee shop and you have found... well... nearly heaven. This place is nestled in the cute and quaint downtown historic area of Front Royal. I live 30 min away and drive that far just to study there. The place is super clean, the staff are very friendly, and the drinks / food are very good. Want a good sammich? My man Braden is your guy. Want a heavy handed scoop of ice cream? My girl Noelle pulls bowling balls out of the container. She must work out. Want a great smile to lift your day? Alex and Lynndora gotcha covered. I'm so comfortable when I come to this place, legend has it I may have even fallen asleep on their couch. Seriously though, this place is a hidden gem. I'm grateful to be a customer there. They take great care of me. Give em a try!

We recently visited many popular coffee shops in Southern California and without question, the DL Campus in Front Royal, VA is superior in every way. The decor, the prices, the quality, the taste and the experience cannot be equaled. So glad to be back in Front Royal so we can get our favorite drinks, food, and ice cream.

Let me count the ways why I like DL Campus Coffee. It's tastefully decorated, the servers are friendly and efficient, it's generally quiet, the bathroom is clean, the coffee is inexpensive, and yes, they play Christian music, but it sure beats the noise I've heard played in other coffee shops. A couple of the other reviews I've read criticize DL for its Christian music and atmosphere, which is strange as the establishment makes no bones about what it is. I go here to work for the reasons stated above, and it's a great place for that. And I recommend the chicken salad sandwich on a toasted croissant. Enjoy!

I absolutely love this coffee shop with a good ice cream bar. I've been here two days in a row and I will continue to come every day that I'm in town. I was very pleasantly surprised to see Peet's Coffee being served! It is the best coffee I have ever had. Nice to find it out east for once. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The dacor is fabulous. Very nice music played at a low volume. Comfortable couch area by a large screen TV. If you have not been here, it is a must!

My son had ice cream and he really enjoyed it. I ordered the lavender and honey latte. Was quite yummy. Nice quiet place to go and relax. Saw a lot of people working at the tables, which seems like a smart idea.

nice place, quiet and friendly. Don't mind it being overtly Christian. But it's a bit weird to have NewsMax playing continuously in the background... Wish it could be Christian, without being overtly political. No complaints on the drinks/food and I will go back!

A lot going for it except that they openly mix politics and religion. Newsmax and Jesus. I’m not interested in drinking coffee in a pleasant small town and also experiencing the onboarding process for America’s future al-Qaeda. There are other coffee options around that open before most people should already be at work and won’t bombard you with contradictory ideologies.
