I have my Cavalier King Charles Spaniel Luna, groomed here on a regular basis. First off, the vibe of the place as soon as you walk in, is fantastic. Everyone from the owner to the receptionist is very friendly and pleasant to talk to. The place is clean. They do a wonderful job grooming my dog. She always comes out of her appointments looking very pretty and smelling so nice! I cannot tell you enough how much I appreciate their talents. I highly recommend taking your fur babies here for any grooming needs they have.

I have been taking my poodle here for a few years now and every single time he just comes home looking better and better! he’s got a strong personality, and Chelsea and all the staff handle him so well! I have zero complaints about their work, as well as their service! I love knowing that they take care of my dog as if he was their own. I constantly recommend to everyone to take their pups here! I have moved away and STILL bring mine! much love and appreciation for all the hard work from everyone here!

Pooch perfect has been grooming my two mini poodles for about a year and they do an incredible job. They always smell wonderful and have the softest hair when I pick them up. All the staff is kind and they treat my pups like their own! I highly recommend!!

Amazing place to get your fur babies groomed! I highly recommend. This cute little grooming place is very clean and the staff is so nice. My dog loves to come here and always comes back looking like a teddy bear. Definitely check them out!

Chelsea and the girls are amazing. I drive 2 hours each way to have her take care of my Bentley. They treat him like their own and look out for him. Definitely recommend this team to anyone who wants to pamper their fur baby

I love this groomer so much. We went to pooch purrfect for two years and if we didn’t have to move, we would’ve gone forever. I love that it has grown to the business it has so far. Chelsea does the best work and I love that they go the extra mile to provide services for keeping our dogs “extra”. I cannot find another groomer that provides the same services such as the dog pet dye for an affordable price. They are quick and the dogs are able to relax around the shop after their groom.

I’ve taken my puppy here a few times now and last time we fell in love with the way she looked but this time it was just a very poorly job done. I have no complains about the service as it is usually very brief a in and out but for the price I paid I am heartbroken to see how she looks. I have trimmed her myself just to get over the look of a sucked up vacuum hair look.I did not call because after reading all the reviews I can say the owner is a proud of her own work and does not seem to recognize mistakes that can happen. The fact I do not want to waste my energy in complaining to them because I know they will get an ugly attitude back is scary for their image. I simply am providing my experience and do not need additional input from her or her staff because I will not be returning but I wish them the best.Update: your the correct salon but that was a nice try to cover up. I am not interested in being contacted because your comments to your fellow reviews have been very negative and rude therefore I don’t want to put up with that. I simply provided my experience that is it. I do not care for a refund as you provided a service therefore I am paying. It was just not a happy experience. Thank you

Pooch Purrfect is the best grooming salon I’ve came across thus far! Oktober & Chelsea were wonderful to my 7 year old rottie who is very anxious while getting his nails trimmed. They were attentive & gentle. The staff was very welcoming & informative on how often I should bring him in so he can be comfortable with them. I’ll definitely be returning soon!

I have a sweet Australian Shepard and he will be 2 soon, been taking him here since he was 5 months old! And they have ALWAYS done and amazing job, his nails, his coat everything. And they’re all nice, work with you if you need to change the date around, it’s been an overall amazing experience and I wouldn’t trust my baby with anyone else!

Chelsea and her team are amazing! I’m so happy i decided to bring my maltipoo here!I was very nervous/ anxious since this would be my pups first time being groomed with other dogs around but Chelsea & her team made me feel very comfortable with the process and i felt great about leaving him there. He was there for a short time for a full haircut and even got a blue tail which looks amazing 😍 i was surprised on how quick it was!My baby came home happy and energetic so i know he was in great hands ❤️ thank you sooo much.

We took our dog Tatum. They did a wonderful job with him. Tatum has always come home from a groomer traumatized. We’ve tried four different groomers.When I picked him up from his grooming session, he was happy and excited, and is remain that way all day they will be our groomers for as long as they will have us. The spy is very cute but more importantly, the staff are wonderful.

Worst groomer in the area. Granted. She started out good. But don't confront them (even in a kind manner) with any issues you have. Rather than try to accommodate the customer for legitimate and very real complaints they will become nasty and irrational. I would NEVER take a pet of mine to anyone there! They are all about the bottom line and could care less about you or your pet Just keep your mouth shut and pay their excessive fees. You and your pet deserve better! They are classic example of why this industry needs to be regulated!

Great experience today! We went to the New Dumfries VA on Main st. Cute little Spa for your fur babies! They were quicker than they said and efficient. All of the staff were very friendly. It was clean. They work with your pets tolerance. This was Bellas second haircut, she is only 2 years old. She is a silky hair yorkie so we are particular about her long hair and this was our first time going so short. They did an awesome Job. Better than Petsmart did her first Cut. We will definitely be back. They dyed her hair (at my 7yr olds request) and next time we will add the nails. They also have cute little dresses and outfits for as low as $5. We will definitely be back! In the pictures thats the dress we bought there for $5. The before picture is with the pink leash.

Chelsea and her team at Pooch Purrfect Pet Spa are the BOMB.com! I have a miniature poodle who hates going to the groomer. Nevertheless, they consistently give him the best hair cuts! No matter what I ask for, they deliver. Long, short, teddy bear cut, doesn’t matter. And he’s happy when I return. For awhile, I was going to a different groomer and when I picked my boy up, both he and the groomer were distressed! But, not Chelsea. Saint actually hugs her when she picks him up!Customer service is Chick-fil-A grade every time. She starts on time and ends on time. Your dog won’t be sitting in a kennel for hour(s) waiting its turn. And he’s always returned with a cute bandana!And supporting Chelsea’s business is extra special because it is a small, family, locally owned business.I could honestly go on and on about Pooch Purrfect Pet Spa and still not say enough. Go visit the cute little spa yourself and you will see!I posted various cuts cuts I’ve asked her to do. Check out the side eye he gives me once he’s had enough of my picture taking shenanigans! haha!

BEWARE: This business caused harm to my fur baby today by using a product on him that has caused him a rash all over his body and he can’t stop scratching. They were provided the only product they Patches doesn't react to and they took it upon themselves to add an additional product and use it on him as well. He has had an allergic reaction to the additional product.This was an amazing place when it first opened. The priority was the animal not the money. They grew to big to fast and lost the mission of caring for the animals. Now when you show up at your appointment time the dog will sit in a crate or kennel and wait until they get to him. If you want to cancel when you show up because they tell you it will be three to four hours before they get to your pet they will charge you. That’s ridiculous because if the appointment is at 12 then there shouldn’t be any waiting for 2 to 3 hours beyond the scheduled appointment time to begin working on your pet. Why have appointments then? If you want your pet to have personalized care - don’t go here. Their policies apply to some people not all. They claim they get behind because people are late dropping off their dogs but there is a policy if you are late arriving for your appointment. If someone is late dropping off their pet then why does my pet have to sit and wait because people can’t honor their scheduled time. Also, If you know you have a difficult dog coming in that requires two groomers then don’t schedule as many dogs that day (another excuse for why they run late). What this establishment imposes on their customers is not reciprocated, so just be aware of that going in. This establishment has had a secondary number on file from the time my pet has been going here. However they could not use it to get in touch with someone to reschedule yet they can use it to get the invoice paid. The manager’s response to using an unauthorized product on Patches was “I didn’t know” - she was his groomer even though I had requested she not groom him. She knew he couldn’t have any other product used on him - this has been his protocol for 18 months at least. In addition if your dog gets a bad cut and you request that you not get a particular groomer it falls on deaf ears and you don’t get a say. Be prepared to give up any decision making power for your pet because “they know best”. This business and staff caused harm to my fur baby and they accept no fault for wrong doing. In fact the response I received from the owner of the business, who argued with me, that it is not possible for my dog to be allergic to hypoallergenic products because she took a training on it. Well there you go folks, one training and she is now an MD and knows it all. Animals just like people can have a sensitivity to anything. It varies from pet to pet. The good news though, Chelsea took a training and now she can speak with the confidence of a doctor. Who needs a vet now? Just call Chelsea she knows everything about dogs, sensitivities, and hypoallergenic products. Dogs can’t possibly have a reaction to hypoallergenic products. If you plan on taking your animal here I hope and pray they don’t cause harm to your fur baby like they did mine. And if they do be prepared to be the one they blame because you questioned them or were disrespectful.

This will be my furever grooming space for my pups! Chelsea and Oktober are the real deal. They do such a great job on cuts, grooming, and color. Oh, and don't get me started on Pickles! The wait list to get in, for us, was a year but worth it!

As a busy worker in the area I only have time during the weekend to come here. I have been there about 5 times without an issue for accomodation during Saturdays and there was a kind lady to fit in my dog for an easy 5 minute nail trim while I assisted and always tipped 200%.The person I talked to today didn't seem so kind and did not make an effort to squeeze my dog in today. Only checked for morning availability for a 5 min nail trim and said no availability at all for the day. Was a loyal customer to this place but I'll take my business somewhere else.

When I first got my baby, it was a struggle taking him to get groomed because of the horrible experiences we encountered in the past. We went to so many so called “groomers” and spent A LOT of money for a worthless job and needless to say I was desperate to find a good groomer for Milo. Once I found Pooch Purrfect, my worries and fears of taking him to get groomed were instantly gone. Chelsea(the owner) is amazing at what she does, she’s groomed milo for the past 2 years and I have never had an issue or concern with the job she preforms. Now when I take my baby to get cleaned up, he doesn’t fear going into her shop and is very familiar with Chelsea and her staff. Sometimes when Chelsea can’t groom him, her employee Oktober will do it and her work is just as impeccable as Chelsea’s. Pooch Purrfect is the best place to go in the DMV area. You will not regret taking your babies here and you can be assured your money is being well invested in the company. They treat our fur babies with so much TLC as if they were there own and you can’t beat that anywhere!

So glad I found Pooch Purrfect. Our dogs get very nervous at groomers but Odin and Mei came back very happy and smell so much better! I called looking for a new groomer and they were able to fit us in based off my availability. Just scheduled our follow up bath!

They took care of my 2 huskies I was crazy with their shedding. PPPS schedule was full but I accepted to be on the waiting list if there were any cancelations I got texts about openings and I got serviced 3 days after. My pets were beautiful.

Always pooch perfection! My girl HATES the groomer having gone through 12 groomers in her 13 years. Other groomers cut her skin, tongue, nail quick….she got fleas at one place…ugh. Finally, the old girl can live out her senior years in peace : )
