Nice store! I recommend going mid day during the week if you can. It’s not a huge supermarket, but it almost always has everything I’m looking for. They have a good selection of produce and the shelves are usually really well stocked. The location is clean and the employees are polite and helpful. I recommend this location.

The store is good, always well stocked and clean. But every single time I go, without fail, there are employees smoking right in front outside of the doors. It's disgusting, smells terrible and is just inconsiderate.

Nice store that has all the items I need. I don't like the fact that there is gambling in the store. Why should people have to expose that to their children so that they are amazed by it?

I was struggling with a serious COPD flare up and having trouble breathing as I approached the self checkout. The employee monitoring the self checkout sent a young man to get a chair for me.Management needs to be aware of this awesome employee. Her name is Robin.Also, when I got outside, I offered another employee $5 to take my groceries to the car. He said he didn't want the money, but took them anyway. After he put them in the trunk, I asked him to please take the money. He said no again, then thanked me for shopping at Food Lion.The person in charge needs to know he has great people working there.

Store was nice and clean and cashiers available. Just the way I like it. Only downside is be careful milk because sometimes the dates are very close to expiration. One went bad on me.😔

Had a mgt follow up with me after 2 interviews for a job there. I was now on my 3rd Interview. This went on for over 30 days. Then they wanted a 4th Interview [ and no I wasn't applying for like croprate or store mgt]. Then they never reached out for the 4th Interview. Ridiculous!! They continue to post the same positions online and say oh the position been open for weeks when i interviewed with them ...geez I wonder why ? 🤡🤣🤣Locations are run down and the company also closed many stores. Run down buildings but it's a grocery store? Yuk

Left some items behind. Called customer service and the woman remembered what they were. Asked me to bring in the receipt and get new ones. Great customer service and employees are always nice.

I really appreciate this food lion. Good local options for honey and some other items.. they also carry some brews from breweries near by.. good prices just always try to rotate what you buy based on the sales. Always clean and never packed busy

I haven't shopped at a Food Lion in several years. I used to go there for their great value. I have mostly been grocery shopping at Walmart recently. I decided to go to Food Lion instead to avoid the Christmas shopper rush. I was amazed at how much Food Lion's prices have increased. I won't be shopping there again anytime soon.

The management has transformed it to a pleasant and clean grocery store. I used to hate coming here.It needs improvement in making fresh bakery and hot foods. I wish they would put seating area to enjoy fresh coffee, bakery, and hot sandwiches. I needs to expand in order to compete my favorite Wegmans.

Convenient for it's location, produce seems to be a hit and miss. Delivery is a roll of the dice, sometimes you get an employee who really cares for the customer and somenjust want to be just done.

It's a grocery store, with groceries. It fulfills the set objective of selling groceries with faster lines than the Wal-Mart across the street. However, we have purchased some frozen products that were already freezer burned inside, and the entire chicken section looked like it got wet somehow. All of the tags were water damaged, was it left out too long? I dunno, but it was a bit concerning.

Great fresh fruit and veggies, meat selection, international food choices. The prices are very good, amazing actually. They employ a lot of younger people as cashiers who are not consistent with using its "blue bag" for perishable foods system and who don't match up appropriate food items together to bag. One in particular is mouthy and disrespectful. Once we got passed that, we better enjoy shopping there. Amazing what we can tolerate to save on our grocery bill.

Went in for a few things. The young man didn't say anything the entire time to me or the people in line ahead of me. Didn't even ask tell me my total just had his hand out. I actually had cash and a few coins dropped....he shoved the rest of the money in my hand. No thank, have a good evening. Nothing. The store itself was clean but the shelves need stocking and straighten up.

Most of the time the employees are great. But today, was different. Went to get some luncheon meat that a sign stated $2.99 per lb. With MVP card ,as we ordered another employee over heard me and stated " That was yesterday's sale". After being in retail for years I know they have to go by the sale sign. The other employee then came and snatched all of the sale signs down. I politely waited and asked to speak to a manager. She claimed I could only get 1lb. at the sale price and the other at full price. A Manager never came. The deli lady cut the first pound and charged the $2.99 but the second pound was $7.45. The deli lady told me to fight the price. After picking up other items, I finally spoke with a manager, and he went and got the corrected price for $2.99 lb.I wish the lady all the best.

This Food Lion is conveniently located across from a daycare I use. Lived here for years, Food Lion is my go to for groceries. Not anymore. Someone used my information to buy food, conveniently without the use of my actual CARD. So either an employee or someone from their card reader system. Regardless I noticed a charge from this particular store and the only response I got from the manager was that his stuff gets stolen from the store too. And it happens in store alot. Secondly the sale prices are misleading indicating a sale but it's actually just the price before taxes. Thirdly hearing from the manager that he experiences fraud daily from a chain that profits off ifs consumers is literally the most unprofessional and concerning thing I've ever heard. He did nothing to remediate the situation not one THING. And basically told me you're out of luck period. So I'm taking this matter to the FTC. As foodlion is breaking a few practices. Misleading sales, malpractice with it's consumers, and of course the inability to take care of it's consumers. It happened at their store but not one ounce of accountability is being processed.

They’re always clean which is nice however they don’t ever have baby formula, & I’m not talking just a specific brand, I mean all brands on any occasion ever. It’s much easier to get it here than Walmart because less wait however I constantly have to drive down 234 just to get it.An today they were only excepting cash payments. Not sure why but another fail.

Nice small convenient store you can pop in and out of without spending five minutes walking to the back of the store! The checkout could be faster but all in all they have great weekly sales and good competitive prices!

I found everything I needed and the employees were smiling and helpful. The produce looked fresh. Definitely better idea than going to Walmart.Sadly, they didn't have the cat litter I was looking for, but they aren't as big as Walmart, I get it that they don't have as much room.

The store is always clean when I go in, the checkout lines are not too long, if there is any line at all, and the cashiers are usually friendly. I do think this grocery store is a little more expensive than others like Walmart and giant, but I do have to admit they have some excellent deals that make purchasing some things at this grocery store worthwhile. I am always looking for a bargain and trying to spend the least money possible while still getting as much as I can for my dollar. Some of these deals here at Food Lion are definitely worth it, especially the deals on sodas, and some of their goodies in the bakery

This is the fourth time I’ve come in this store and found expired products still on the shelves. Previously it was milk, orange juice and creamer. Today it’s plantain chips and organic veggie broth…ridiculous. I’m done with this place.

Very convenient when I want to grab some items and go and not travel further down to Walmart. Great sales and friendly cashiers. The best Food Lion I have been to in the Virginia area
