Awesome Aldi. The produce looked great for mid-afternoon on a Saturday, not picked through and all over. The place was clean and the employees were friendly. I think this one may be considered an Aldi Express. There’s no self check out stations.

Really great experience with budget friendly prices. The place is clean and organized. Always stocked. Now there is even self checkout so you don't have to wait in lines. Just don't forget to bring your bags, they self paper bags for .12¢ and quarter for the cart.

I like the store for it's cleanliness, fresh produce and very competitive pricing. I shop at this store every week for my grocery. I went to the store this afternoon and I saw an Aldi employee, a white lady, who was not wearing a face mask. When I respectfully asked why she was not wearing a face mask as requested by the State of Virginia to curb the spread of the COVID 19 virus, she asked if I have a problem with that and told me to mind my own business.I am not sure of the policy of the store but I believe the state law supersede that of the store. I told another employee, I believe the manager, about this and he told me that he will check into this. He went back to their warehouse and came back avoiding me even though I was signaling to him. Later I saw him talking to this employee without the face mask on and never said a thing to her.I know Northern Virginia still have high cases of this virus and offering free testing to slow down and prevent this virus from spreading. So if this Aldi store allows their employees not to comply with the efforts to curb the spread of this virus, they should show it on their premises that wearing of face masks are not required. Thanks very much!AN UPDATE!!!Went to this store and the surroundings looking very dirty especially their carts storage areas. I hope that they clean this before the County fine them for uncleanliness.

This store is always clean and easier to get in and out of but today Nate, the store manager , went above and beyond for us. He was patient and helped us to solve our problem with a positive attitude. I have nothing but praise. We were treated with respect in this crazy time.

Some of our favorite items are out of stock often. Seems it is hit or miss on canned products like olives, peppers, cereals, 1% milk, cream cheese, etc.

Aldi is overall a pretty decent store that is super convenient for a lot of items. I wish that they all were the same! Three of them are located in Woodbridge. Two of the three have been updated to the newer Aldi standard. The other one on the Northside of town is the older and needs some attention. The one downside is that their business model is operating the store with minimal staffing, which sometimes results in very long lines and one cashier.

I have several Aldi's near me and my work, and this is my preferred one. They keep things neat, organized, and fresh. It's not usually too overwhelmingly busy when I go, and when it is busy, they try to open enough check outs to accommodate. They don't have everything a traditional grocery store has, so if you're looking for a unique spice or unusual ingredient you may not find it here. But you will find your general items such as bread, produce, meat, dairy, snacks, zip lock bags, paper plates, etc. Their prices are better than traditional grocery stores for most things, so I usually start my grocery trip here and than any items they don't have I'll grab at another store. They also have rotating seasonal items. Be sure to bring your own bags so you don't have to buy any at check out, and of course you'll need a quarter for your cart - but you'll get it back when you return your cart.

Staff is unfriendly and act’s very miserable working here. Always clean, however, plan to wait in line forever. Only one cashier open and when you ask if there is anyone else available they look at you crazy even though the line is all the way down the aisle. Management is poor and rude and the customer is not always right. If you know you know. I love the location and for the most part cleanliness but staff is what makes a store friendly and great and you won’t get that here.

It’s always clean, very convenient for quick in and out service for main staples and a few nice surprises. For the most part the service is outstanding however sometimes the lines can get out of control and the reaction to get more people on registers can move slowly. This last visit people had cut the line and the employees did nothing to correct it and a few customers got into it and the cashiers said and did nothing. If one of the cashiers had stepped in I think the issue would have been solved more amicably.

This place is like a big lots of food. Prices are good but selection is sparse and you need need a quarter to unlock the shopping cart, though you do get it back. It looks kind of like a 3rd world grocery store in that cases of food are just cut open to save the cost of stocking. If you like saving money and don't need a big selection of items you might like this place.

I love this place. Milk is .99 cents a gallon and eggs. .45 a dozen. U can't beat that. And I love their produce and meat Dept. Meats are really priced low and good! Love their fit yogurt for .33 cents. Store is clean and friendly.

I like the store. Just need more cashiers. No matter what time of day I may stop in here, there is always only one cashier. Do better. Also, open a self checkout lane. It's very IRRITATING to have to wait so long just to check out when you have less than 10 items.

Clean store. The produce looked fresh for the most part, some looked questionable but 95% of the produce was looked pretty fresh. This store seemed to pride themselves on a fresh and clean meat section. The meats were all vacuum sealed and they even had a small vegetarian vegan selection. Not large but at least they remembered the vegans. 25 cents for the cart but you get it back when you return the cart.

Normally I come to this store to do my shopping but the truth is that for the first time they made me feel bad, the guy who was charging an American out of respect I told him good morning, he didn't answer me, he threw things away after me another American person came, the supermarket nice to her the truth is he is racist he is a bald white boy I think he hates Hispanics I am American I am also proud of my roots of my parents

It is not the Aldi I grew up with......well lit, clean with a Harris Teeter feel. Great prices! Good selection of cheeses, and vegetables looked good. I even saw lobster tails. Note that you do need a quarter for the grocery cart which you will get back when you return the cart. We will definitely be making frequent visits.

Went there for the $0.29 dozen eggs they had a note saying they raised the prices. They were about $2.50. Also, the line for the checkout was about 40 people long with only one person manning the registers. The line was so long it was blocking the entrance to the store. The shopping you have to pay $0.25 for. If all working employees were at registers I might have given them a three star review.

Like the store, less crowded as the other local store on Smoketown. However they could manage to keep it more clean, boxed better so it looks less low-end grocery store. Also date check could be done better. Small apple pie boxes were dated March 7 on March 7th... One of the cashier African American lady could be nicer, she was nasty to my fiance.

Today was the first time I visited this store. It is conveniently located right in front of a super Walmart. The store was well stocked which is a plus. I used to go to the ALDIs in Smoketown but after suiting so many time and not finding what I need I will be going straight to the one in Dumfries from now on.

Aldi doesn't carry every food but the food that it carries is insanely well-priced. Chips and snack food, milk and eggs, those are the best prices in town. The produce always looks fresh and delicious. They have some surprisingly good wines and some amazingly cheap ones. Other items are hit-and-miss on the quality.

This place is very affordable like all aldi's are however they only had one person open at the register and there was another young lady that was literally walking around on her phone and there there were 8 people deep in the line waiting to get rung up and she just stared walked away came back 20 minutes later when there was only 1 customer left to be rung up…. and a.. and that was it. I gave it 3 stars because it's fast and convenient it did not get any more than that because of the staff. That older lady. Typically you see this behavior in younger people but this woman looked like she was pushinng 50. The younger staff is always very helpful

For the price on things that weren'tname brand it was really good and the quality is still there got to give them props just make sure you bring a quarter and if you got them your own bags if you don't want to pay extra the quarter is for the cart if you need it :)

Fresh fruits, reasonable prices but the wait is horrible!!I don't understand especially on the weekends, only 1 or 2 cashier's for 30 or more customers waiting to cash out??It needs to be managed alot better or hire extra employees..God bless 🇺🇸 Us all !🙏🌏

Love this store. I shop the one in Dumfries across from Walmart. Great place to buy nuts. They have a good selection of Trail Mix, also.I like their frozen seafood and the specialty isles are always a favorite. The checkout staff is quick, helpful, and friendly.

Everyone warned me not to shop here. I should have listened. I decided to try it with my young daughter. She is in one arm and I go to get a cart...nope...I don't have a quarter! So I have to juggle my groceries and my kid. Then, they have NOTHING. The items they have are brands no one has heard of. Then, you have to pay for a bag and bag your own groceries. So in short - I saved a buck, like literally maybe one dollar but it was a huge pain. I would have spent WAY more if I could have used a cart vs what I could hold in my hand. Not the place for me.

I love this Aldi! It's very clean, the parking is good, & the staff I've encountered have been friendly. Aldi has the BEST prices on fresh produce & the quality is great. They also have great peices for everyday stapmes such as bread, eggs, pasta, etc. Aldi has other unique, seasonal finds as well (for example, I just bought a bubble lawn mower toy & water shoes for my toddler this summer, in the winter I found a great travel mug). Definitely my go-to place for grocery shopping!
