I don’t know who the older lady is who was working in customer service this morning April 20 around 8:15AM but she needs to focus more on checking customers out in a timely manner rather than responding to her texts. I stood in line for damn near 20 minutes all because she couldn’t pay attention to what she was doing due to the fact she was more concerned about responding to her texts. When another associate realized the line was starting to back up she came and opened a register. If it wasn’t for the younger associate coming to help, I’d or still be in line.

It's kinda hard to judge a Walmart, but tonight was the nail in the coffin. Pros:The electronics staff are AMAZING. I've never had an issue with them, they're exempt from literally any negative feelings.Cons:You're going to be profiled. Racially, the way you dress, the way your face looks, the way you walk, etc. I'm alternative looking, piercings and what not, and am black. If I enter with my white partner, everyone leaves us alone. If I'm alone? All hands on deck, apparently. I've been followed through the perfume / makeup aisle, aggressively stared down when around locked sections, and am usually asked for my receipt no matter what's in my cart. Tonight I went in to buy a printer and headphones, and checked out back in the electronic section. On my way out I wanted a drink, so I bought one through self checkout, very obviously holding up a second receipt the entire time to avoid this exact confrontation. A woman (presumably a sales floor manager) pointed at me and told an associate "I need you at the door *now.*" and then decided to flag me down to check the receipt herself. When I handed it over, she kind of snatched it, and then proceeded to look at it for way too long, before dropping it, struggling to pick it up, and then handing it back to me with someone of a look. To add insult to injury, the self checkout pretty much always thinks you're stealing. It defeats the purpose of a self checkout when I have to call over an associate every 5 seconds because it thinks I didn't scan something that I very obviously did. And when an associate does come over to check it, they will 100% believe the machine, even when they watch you scan it, and then kind of linger around to see if you're going to steal.

The past 2 or 3 pick up orders I have placed have been canceled because they "didn't have the product" but after picking up, or sometimes before, I go inside and find all or most of what they "don't have" right where it belongs. Sometimes it could be reshop (unlikely) but majority of the time there are multiple of what I ordered. This is very unprofessional and they need to start holding their workers accountable when it is pointed out to them.

Racial profiling workers. Had an experience today where I was told I couldn't check out a DVD when others were walking out of the isles with whole headphones and video games. Funny thing is they were all white. The whole time I was being watched because apparently I was suspicious due to my skin tone. Electronics worker told me that themselves. Do not shop here you will be discriminated against.

their pick up time is horrible. They are always late. Waited about 25 minutes just to get my order. Also they are so delayed with their shipping. Order was supposed to be delivered at 7-8pm it said it was delayed than it changed to 9-10pm never came. Got an email saying it won’t come till tomorrow morning. Like what im hungry…

Walmart sure has gone downhill. I couldn't find the Tabouli salad, so I asked a worker. She said: "I don't know".There were also several staples that are not there anymore. I was told: "You have to buy it online".

Walmart is always good lately I've been doing more of ordering on the app and picking up, The guy that brought my stuff out was listening to his earbuds the entire time totally ignoring me squished some of my food I was not pleased at all.

Customer service could be better. Also stop checking my receipt at the door. If you think I stole something go get the manager or leave me alone. It's ridiculous. And if I get my receipt texted I am certainly not handing you my phone. If you would use actual employees to ring up customers instead of using mostly self checkouts you wouldn't have as many thefts I'm assuming. But you cannot just assume all of us are stealing.

Today I returned a Keurig Duo coffee pot that did not work, straight out of the box to the Spotsylvania / Southpoint location. I had the receipt, and they tested the coffeemaker and confirmed it was defective. Purchased 3 days ago at the Walmart on Warrenton Road, Fredericksburg, 5 miles away. I told them I wanted to exchange it and was told they don’t exchange and gave me a gift card. Ok, no problem. Walked back and pulled the same coffee maker off the shelf and went to self checkout. Coffee maker - exact same one - rang up $20 higher (99.99)! Checkout observer couldn’t help, I asked for supervisor. I was told that Walmart’s do not have to honor other stores prices. She said if she honored that price then she would be in trouble with store management. I was seriously dumbfounded! The reason I went to a different Walmart than My purchased location was that I had half hour of time to kill before a nearby appt. I left without the coffee maker or I’d be late for appt. Looked up price of coffee pot on Walmart website while waiting for appt. It was 79.99. And I could pick it up at the Spotsy store location!! Apparently this store charges more than other locations so buyer beware!

Love Southpoint walmart especially the self checkouts you are never rushed and can bag your groceries the you want and the people running the self checkouts are so nice polite and helpful!! They never complain unlike the few cahiers they have!!

I really like this Walmart. The outside has a different touch to it but the color is bright and welcoming. Staff here are great, very friendly and respectful. This Walmart has all ages but overall the employees I have come across are definitely a great face and fit to represent Walmart. I love how diverse this Walmart is as well. I loved seeing diff nationalities working as a team. The toing workers are also respectful. Whoever's hiring here is doing a great job on selecting the right ppl for this store and defining what Walmart stands for. I recommend shopping here. It's one of the nicest Walmarts. Oh did I forget to tell you the BATHROOMS are A1!! Very clean. Thank you Walmart staff for making my Instacarting fun and enjoyable and making me and my family feel welcomed.

Walmart is Walmart. You can find just about anything there. Beware of rude people and jammed aisles . Walmart employees no longer man the registers. They stand around and come and fix the machine when you don't know how to check items yourself.

We shop at this Walmart frequently. The place is huge and has a massive selection of products. It is often times busy and products are being delivered on the shelves during the middle of the day which can be frustrating.

Walmart change the place around, you can find nothing got to walk all over the place. And those new self service cash register always a problem and malfunction. Then you got to find someone to help you. Long lines,it sucks 😭

1 is generous rating. Store is always stocking the shelves. Employees are the rudest! And they don't keep the products in stock.. New remodeling makes it look and feel like a third world store. Stinks with less real checkers. Tough for senior citizens that can't do the self check out. Nothing changes with the lack of cashiers
