Loved this place! You name a beer or wine, they have it or they used to; definitely worth a stop. I like the way they have section for wine and another one for beer even the staff is so knowledgeable about all questions.

As my first time ever in a Total Wine, I can say I was blown away by everything. I guess I don't go to liquor stores or the like but it was still a mind blowing amount of options. I came here for beer. A woman helped me find a Budweiser/Jim Beam beer. She was so friendly. I didn't get to explore everything but I'll definitely be back.

Great location, close to many popular shops, food and stores.Very helpful staff that is knowledgeable about the inventory and services the company provides. There is literally hundreds of wines and great beers to choose from.

Total wine is the best, this one even has a humidor with a decent cigar selection. Not as good as Total wine in other states due to the VA laws governing liquor however they always have a great selection of Beer and wine along with tastings on weekends.

Great selection. Aisles are very narrow. Hard to stop and look when you're constantly in someone's way. Was looking forward to tasting a few to help make my decision but couldn't find an associate around.

You can’t beat the prices here and this location is really close to me which is why I’ve been a loyal customer for years. I gave it 3 stars because the staff never makes me feel welcomed not to mention the cashiers will ask for your ID before you have a chance to place your items on belt. It’s just endless frustration and the overwhelming feeling of not being welcomed coming to this location. For as much money as I spend here, I’d love to see a change in the near future.Update July 24, 2023: I originally gave it 3 stars but since posting this review I have seen a drastic improvement. Not only have I noticed a change but I have had several conversations with other customers who have reported the same. I have to bump it up to 5 stars now.

Corey was very informative to us. He recommended a wine and it was amazing. Answer all my question then told me about deals. He knew where everything was and extremely friendly. Some of the wines are a few cents cheaper than Costco.

I had to walk out again because of how long it takes to find a sour beer or gose in this store. I realize that they’re in the “Seasonal” section, but that is 4-6 shelf sections long. The sours are not near each other, labeled, or easily identifiable. Please let me know if you improve this and I’ll be back

CUSTOMER SERVICE IS AMAZING! The sales force here are extremely knowledgeable! I buy Virginia wines for my parents and they are so good at identifying not only local wines, but GOOD wines across the board.

The selection is great. The floor associates were very knowledgeable. Hayleigh was incredibly helpful and very knowledgeable. The woman who was working in the beer section on Saturday 8/12 was awesome as well. We walked in with the intent of spending $15 on Ace Peach High Cider and left spending $100 because of the awesome recommendations from Hayleigh and the woman in the beer section(I wish I got her name)The reason for the one star review was that Heather, the Manager, ruined our awesome experience. She could not have been nastier, not only to us, but also the other employees. I can't imagine the type of hostile work environment she creates.If Heather is that nasty to the employees in front of customers, how nasty is she when there are no witnesses. Managers are on their best behavior in front of customers.Heather is an awful representative of Total Wine.

I gave 4 stars because me and my husband like to visit this store and pick some bottles of red wine which tastes good and price are reasonable every other week. Somehow , I agree with some of customers opinions about the services. I don’t feel warm welcome like I got from other grocery stores and restaurants in Fredericksburg.I am an Asian….., I hope I am just too sensitive.😊

Any type of alcohol you could imagine. The employee's will help you look for anything or even recommend similar drinks. Every person who works here is friendly and polite. I will definitely come here again to try a new drink!

Oh my goodness where do I begin?? I love this store. The staff is so friendly and knowledgeable. If they don't have an immediate answer or recommendation for you, they find a co-worker who does. I've never left disappointed. They also have fun snacks, glasses, and other drinking accessories that make great gifts. The store is maybe 70% wine, but they have ciders, beer, and non-alcoholic options. They're also great for purchasing in bulk. We did all the drink shopping here for our wedding. You'll have to do their occasional tastings to try new wines. I've discovered a couple new favorites this way. This is a MUST VISIT. I promise you won't be disappointed.

I come in here so little that I always kind of walk right straight to the warm beer shelves and forget about the cold beer coolers upfront. I found my beer and cashier reminded me that it might be in cold beer cooler. I told her I’d rather have it cold, and she went out of her way to go over and swap them out. She also said they have a chiller and you can put warm beer in there and it will chill it. This is a decent place to buy craft beers. Prices are about same as my local grocery. Might start coming here more often.

First of all, I was amazed by the customer service. For example, I was looking for a specific beer, and I needed some assistance. So, I went to the counter and ask one of the employees for some help; she stopped what she was doing, and took the time to help me find the items. Not only does she find them but she helped me place them in the cart, as well. I was truly grateful! I will make sure to shop here more!

Some woman wouldn't sell us alcohol becuase a 40 year old man didn't have his ID even though the 30 year old woman did have an I D and her reason was there's a sign on the door that includes the word "may" which is makes enforcement discretionary. Hmmm so I wonder why she chose to exercise her discretionary powers.

Great place to pick up kegs for a kegerator. They have a good variety in stock, and are very helpful if you want to order other non stock items. They also have a terrific selection of canned and bottled craft beer. I have also found that they are very knowledgeable about their wines and can help you find something if you can describe what you are looking for or trying to pair with specific foods.
