Got some great deals at Ross today. Love the selection and this location has people driving past their home town location due to the size, collection, etc. Got $240 in dress shirts for $35. Can’t beat it! Extremely happy. I definitely recommend this location. A++ in my book.

NOT A FAMILY FRIENDLY BUYING PLACE. Went in for the first time in years and was extremely upset when I left. I had a 7 mos old in a car seat and a 2 year old in the cart, got some clothes and a baby bathtub seat. Bathtub seat was in a big box that I could barely carry, especially with two kids. When I was getting ready to walk out the door after paying an associate told me that the carts can’t go outside. Like what? Ended up having to carry my bags Both kids and kicking the bathtub seat all the way to my car because I couldn’t carry it nor use a cart to take it to my car. Should also add it had just rained so i had to kick the baby seat through water. Completely ridiculous. 🤬

Update: I think Ross should add a "G" in front of their name. It would be called "GROSS". I think I'm done shopping there. Again, it looks like Fred Sanford junk yard in there. A worker told me it is due to a lack of employees. Somebody could injure themselves because of the pile of disorganization of furniture. This could cause Ross a lawsuit.I like shopping at Ross Dress for Less. However, I believe there is a management issue. The store is very disorganized and only one cashier to 10 customers in line. I spoke to the manager on duty and her response was: "Thank you for your response, we're doing the best we can." I asked her if someone can open another register and her response again was: We're doing the best we can. What a lame excuse when there are 3 other employees standing around talking. Also, the store is piled with misplaced furniture just thrown into a pile. See picture as proof. Someone could get hurt trying to maneuver around it. I suggested to her that I will clean up for you because it is a safety Hazzard. She declined my offer...

Isles are not clear at all. Items all over the place and not on shelves neatly at all. Going thru isles their isn't enough room to pass others, and everything just looked a mess with no one clearing or cleaning and ladies in depth. were very rude and couldn't be bothered by customers. I'm disappointed and doubt I'll return. Will be taking my business somewhere else

My shopping trip yesterday was more successful. They have sanitizing wipes to wipe your cart and hand sanitizer available. They wear masks and have dividers at the registers. I have been shopping at Ross for years, spending hundreds of dollars. The one thing I notice is they usually do not have paper to wrap glass items, and almost never have large bags. Therefore, the pillows I purchased weren't over sized but they didn't have a bag to put them in. You can leave your cart and go get your car to load your bags if you have more than you can carry but they don't offer assistance.Recent shopping on Wednesday at one of my favorite stores left my cart empty. I choose to believe they are going to bring in lots of new items soon!Great shopping. If you see something you like get it because the chances are it won't be there when you go back.

I come here several times a month and the lady that wrks the dressing room is ALWAYS very rude. I was here 4/27 at 5:00pm. If that helps anyone from the company figure out who she is. Customer service is not for her!

It's Ross. They have a variety of cheap goods, both in price and quality. Understaffed, always a long wait at the register. Decently clean for having three employees trying to cover the whole store. Dressing rooms missing some locks on doors. Fast food of clothing, you get what you get.

DON’T BUY ANYTHING WITH GLITTER. BE CAREFUL WITH VINYL ITEMS. Ross doesn’t do refunds. You will be left with a mess up clothes. Call customer service and they said not their problem. I brought this for Christmas. Washed it once and gone. I learned my lesson to never buy anything with these on them

I don’t know what’s going on with Ross at Fredericksburg. It saddens me to see it going down. It’s hard to buy anything. Very disorganized! Been like this for about 4 or 5 months. Looks like a second hand store. Some isle are hard to walk through. The rugs are more on the floors than where they should be. Clothing on the floors. This makes it hard for one to want to buy something, unless you already know what you’re going in for and get out fast.

I can tell from the reviews a lot of people do not know the process of working in retail or they do not care. If people actually took time out of their day to respect and understand the places they shop they would know it's not always straight forward. Each worker has a specific shift and task(s) to do, some are not trained to do it all. If you see someone working on the sales floor, that does not mean they also have an assigned register to them. Everyone cannot just hop on to check people out. A register has to be tilled and accounted for before it can be used, especially when changing cashiers. When you see a stock associate, they are timed when putting merchandise onto the sales floor so having the decency to move out the way (cart and children included) after they have excused themselves would be the polite thing to do. The store can be a mess but when you have workers who do organize the store time after time just to come back to the isles looking opposite of what they did it gets exhausting. So yes, if you prefer the store to resemble your home or vehicle it can be left to your liking. When someone calls out or does not show up for their shift, there may not be someone else to cover it. If anyone feels entitled or inclined to have the store a specific way, they are more than welcome to apply online! To those customers who are kind, patient and understanding - your presence is appreciated.

All the employees were stellar! Felix checked me out and he's got jokes lolThere were 2 great cashiers as well, one with pink hair who told me everything I need to know about new shipments! Definitely come here for fall clothes before they're gone

Great experience! Found alot of Adidas unique pieces. Good looking store, for a discounter. I do not like the promotional goods corral,in the register, lineup. Never can be kept neat and just an opportunity to throw things in them.

Worst manager ever! Line is to the back of store. 2 registers open. You have enough merchandise on the floor. You have 5 people putting stuff out. All staff except a few should be on the registers as well as the manager. 1.5 hours in line and still not at the register. You are not short staffed - poor management.

Plenty of parking and friendly greeting when you walk in. All the racks are organized with clearly marked signs. They have an excellent selection of fashion accessories for a variety of sizes.

I just walked out of this store leaving a cart full of merchandise. Two registers were open for sales, one for returns,the lines were ridiculously long with at least 20 in line and doubling. There were atleast two associates working on the floor who were aware of the situation. When this happens associates should open all registers and check out should be a priority. Customers were ignored. Please train your staff to be aware of long lines.

We love to shop at Ross but today the bathrooms were very dirty. It is one of the stores that give a discount for senior citizens. It is nice to find name brand items at lower prices.

This store manager does not deserve one star. I'm sure this Ross have plenty of kind and competent employees.The customer service I received was horrible. I have never been accused of stealing or my integrity questioned but I did two weeks ago.I bought a comforter there and the anti-theft sensor was left on it. I knew I wanted to keep it and threw the receipt away.I went to take it out of the hanger and it was sensored to it. I took it back to the store to have the sensor removed.The clerk said she could not do that with out a receipt. I spoke with the manager and he said he would not remove the sensor without the receipt.He then asked "How do I know you paid for it" I asked, "are you accusing me of stealing? I'm not try to get money back I just want the sensor removed that your employee left on my purchase." No, this is our policy. I offered to pull up my credit card account with that being only purchase and it would have the exact amount. Again he said no, not without the store receipt. So now I have a bedding set that is unusable.

Checking out takes forever!!! There can be 15 people in line and only one register will be open. The return line will only take returns, and the manager stands around “looking” busy.

This is ridiculous.. it’s Christmas Eve and it’s only 2 cashiers open .. there were 2 other women walking around instead of helping the 2 cashiers to get the line down … you would expect there to be all workers on DECK working Christmas Eve !Marshall’s had a line but it went so quickly because everyone was on the floor ..every time I come to RossThey are always unstaffed , clothes everywhere making it impossible to shop !It’s just ridiculous

Marking one star because people will read negative reviews first. Location on this is wrong so double check your navigation. It's actually 9 mins away in a larger shopping center. Unfortunately I don't know how to request an address update so leaving review instead, which is not related to the quality of this Ross.

Is great for what it is. Resale of last seasons overstock from department stores. Great if you are not looking for an exact item, but shipping for general items. You're probably gonna like it if you need a pair of jeans, not gonna be good if you need a pair of size 34x36 Calvin Kline stone washed skinny jeans with button fly.

Today was the first day that this Ross location was open since it closed for quarantine. I was worried when I saw how long the line to get in was but the line went so quick. What helped the line go quick was how organized it was and the fact that the manager from the Manassas location, Brian kept walking up and down the line talking to everyone and connecting with all of the customers. Every employee was organized helpful and extremely friendly during my visit. I truly felt as though the employees I encountered enjoyed their job and we're so happy to be back open. I have been shopping at this location for years and I've always liked it but I've never been so blown away by any stores customer service as much as I was today. The line to check out was very long all the way to the back of the store but they had an employee at every register doing their best to get everyone through that line. Even the store manager Brian was on a cash register ringing up customers. I feel I could go on and on about how wonderful my experience was today!This location was so prepared and organized for today. They had a very organized line set up outside giving every customer enough distance between each other. They had a cleaning station at the entrance as well as at the exit. As soon as I walk in I was greeted by an employee who wipe down a car and gave it to me right away. They had hand sanitizer and wipes throughout the entire store. The employees all had masks and had walls between customers and them at the checkout. I felt extremely comfortable being in this Ross today. No part of me was concerned for my health or safety. I knew that they did everything in their power to keep us and them safe

Have been to several, this one is clean and organized. Clean fitting rooms. Variety of home goods, and seasonal things are always on rotation. Associates are friendly enough and care about getting you through a long line quickly. They also stay open late and open early.
