I have been using lowes for over twenty years but this last appliance purchase and the lack of caring by lowes Thornburg employees is horrible. Could not get any assistance after buying the unit to even get it delivered. I would reccomend buying from local smaller appliance retailers. You will be glad you did!!!! See pics below to see how the dropped it off to be rained on. Tried to resolve with customer service department at Thornbueg Lowe's but spent hours just getting hung up on and having to get back in phone queue repeatedly over 3 hour time frame. The other reviews will tell you the same thing. They have a systemic problem and probably a staffing shortage. Stay away unless you want to waste hours of time and pure disappointment in your experience.

I’ve been here several times and they ALWAYS have what we’re looking for. From hex wrenches to palm trees…they never disappoint. Our overall experiences here have been great and always left happy getting whatever it is we are looking for. It can get quite crowded on a Saturday morning but that’s to be expected. The place is HUGE! We love this particular store and location.

BY FAR THE WORST LOWES I’VE EVER HAD TO DEAL WITH!!I purchased a dryer online and for TWO weeks, it would get delayed on being delivered. Customer service is no help. Constant calls to cancel my order & they never answer. Called Corporate & they said someone should reach out… weeks later, I STILL have not gotten a refund because this store is holding my order since I can’t get through to ANYONE at this location. This Lowe’s is absolute trash. Truly deserves NO stars if possible.

Isles are extremely congested with stuff which makes it extremely hard to maneuver around with anything bigger than a regular shopping basket a lot of the simple home improvement stuff isn’t carried by the store anymore and you have to order it and trying to find help is ridiculous. You would think since they shut down basically all the check stands and went to self check out they have more people throughout the store to help you, but they don’t.

Updated review. I had a terrible experience LG and kept giving me the run around total nightmare I would never buy anything from LG no matter how nice etc.Chris Jackson was amazing. He called me. I met with him at the store. I explain my situation. He listened and he truly saved the day. From the moment he greeted me until I left. He had such a great positive attitude, very calm very pleasant, even though he wasn’t feeling well :( he was very patient and I know how it is to deal with public and when your not feeling well. I am forever. Thankful and will continue being a loyal customer that I have been. Lowe’s at Southpoint management team are truly amazing for the people in the community. Kathy the front end Manager. I’ve known her Ive been going to the store for many years always she always treated me like family Anthony an amazing assistant manager definitely always goes above and beyond no matter what the issue is. Even though Lowe’s is a corporate store. It still feels like a local store where they care for their customers and always make them priority. Thank you to Cathy and anthony and especially Chris Jackson you guys rock and I am forever grateful and it’s an honor that I know you all.To the consumers that are in the market for a new dishwasher or other appliances please think twice before getting an LG . Maybe I just got the bad apple just do your research very carefully the products are good, but they do break quickly and speaking to LG corporate is a nightmare.Update: mega plumbing was amazing. Guy was outstanding I couldn’t get but he’s from New York City if that helps any, he came in. He was very respectful he was very clean. He also showed me a few tricks for the dishwasher. He made sure everything was working correctly. No leaks, no damages etc. thank you Lowe’s you just made my day forever. Grateful I love my new whirlpool dishwasher.

Horrible service - just horrible service. Been waiting 2 hours for an online order “in an hour” and every time they pass me they keep lying - just a few more minutes. Complete clowns. Avoid.Just wanted to add it ended up being almost 3 hours and these clowns don’t even have the titles to the trailers they have sold. When I say avoid online purchases with them it is a solid warning that they will ruin your day. You’ve been warned.

Lowes has the worst customer service! I worked there for two years customer service desk by my self at times crazy busy and took on a lot of things answering the phone taking care of customers needs returns all of the above. Called today 7 times put on hold for 20 minutes and then got hung up on. No one answered the phone! What the heck is going on up there! No customer service at all don’t care just there for a pay check.

This has been my go to Lowe's for several years. From my first home remodel, to my current around the house projects I have been unwaiveringly loyal. Well that's likely going to change, I have now visisted the store on FOUR separate occasions to purchase new door locks and have them keyed to all match. Each time there hasn't been anyone there to perform thia service, from what I'm being told there is literally one, single person in the entire store that can perform this service. Ok, that's a separate issue but I live over 30 mins away and I call ahead to verify said person is working and am told yes they're here so I race up here to find out he either didn't work at all that day or he left early....after calling ahead to verify he was there. I'll give Lowes a break on the other two occasions where I just dropped in but the other two days wasting over an hour of my time to just travel back and forth is unacceptable. LOWES DONT OFFER A SERVICE IF YOU CANNOT HONOR IT!!!

Prefer Lowes over Home Depot for sure. It isnt as messy and they treat veterans well with the reserved spots, Christmas cards, and no fuss discount (just present ID). Its also easier to find a staff member when you need one.

heather in contractor sales is worthless at best ,has no knowledge of lumber or construction . store has two black dei managers that should be in food service ,also seems to have alot of angry lbgq workers

I have great things to say about this lowes. My order are always quick and the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The management is great at working a resolution if you have any problems with anything. I would definitely recommend coming here.

Delivered less than half my order, some of the items that were delivered were damaged. The polymeric sand they delivered had the seals broken, it had gotten wet, and they basically delivered buckets of bricks to me. They promised to call back and didn't, promised to deliver on redeliver on Friday morning and dint arrive. I will use Home Depot in future.

I've had several issues now with a delivery. Everytime I call, I wait up to 20 mins for someone, anyone to answer and nothing. That's the longest I waited. When I finally do get to talk to an associate about my delivery and they all give me a run around, then give me a date which I have to take off from work to be home, and then they cancel the delivery hours before they're supposed to arrive. It's such ridiculousness! How can a massive corporation have such horrible customer service?I'm not a Karen in any way, and I've been very patient and understanding, but now I'm losing money from not working and I feel when you can't properly talk to an associate without driving to the store, this company should be reimbursing customers for the inconvenience and time they're losing from not being at work. This Lowe's has given me the run around and I will never do business with them again after I hopefully get my washer. Answer your phones! I'm absolutely furious! Such horrible service! I'm waiting on the phone right now trying to figure of what the hell is going on with my washer.... I've been waiting 16 mins now with not one person answering.

Truth be told, I'm more of a Depot guy, but the store is closer to me and more ideal in my hectic schedule. Staff is nice and more than willing to carry on a conversation to give off that pleasant vibe. I usually know where everything is, so I don't need much help. I don't have a problem spending my money here on a repeated basis.

Had to make a run to Lowe's to return some PVC and get some PVC in its place and the customer service was out of this world every step of the way, stuff was very easy to find, the service was very understanding and quick to render service. Customer Service is poor, no one can help you apparently they just pawn it to the next person. They don’t try to work out a solution with you— they just tell you what they can’t do, and leave you feeling discouraged. Had a head cashier basically call me a liar and was very condescending last night when I was trying to purchase for my classroom. How I always purchased through Lowes with a PO (not according to them anyway). Manager of the store was not helpful at all. He seemed to know less than the rest. I was there for 1hr 30 mins trying to purchase these items. I got to the point I was so frustrated by some of the stuff said, I snapped. I teach shop class and use Lowes a lot but won’t be back to this one. Ill stick with Central Park because they will work till they give you a solution.

Went to buy a dryer today, and asked them to help me push it across the short parking lot to my business. The manager Bobby, said no. The salesman even asked if he could push it over, and the manager told him no. However, they helped a business next to me a week or so ago, push over several large vanities. The great thing about poor customer service is that I can take my business to Home Depot.

Went to buy a front door. The Associate who helped us was Bill C. He was absolutely wonderful. He was professional, thorough in his explanations and guidance. We were on the fence about buying our Front Door at this big box store. He made us feel confident that this was the right move.
