I love handsome hounds. We have been going here for about 3 years now and every time I have had great service. Both of my dogs were seniors (we recently lost one), and they knew how to work with both of them and keep them together to not cause undue stress or harm. Now we have one, and the same care goes into each visit. They are patient and family oriented, and I truly appreciate everything they do.

They did a wonderful job flea treating my cat and she came back flea-less and smelling wonderful! They gave a raving review of how good she was and it put me at ease to have left her with them. I will definitely be using them again for any grooming needs

This place is hands down the best groomer I’ve been to. They are super understanding, loving, and great on time. They loved my fur baby as if he was their own. Best part is I even got an update picture!! They worked a miracle on my pup. I waited a little too long on grooming (you know how life gets) and they didn’t hesitate taking him in and giving him the pampering he deserves! Forever grateful for this grooming salon and recommend it to EVERYONE looking for a place to bring their pups!

I was happy with the fact that they made appointment so quickly however I was not happy with the fact that even after I explained exactly what this issue was with the matted they originally quoted me around 45.00 then when they called for me to pick her up it was 55.00 by the time I got there 15 minutrs later it was 65.00!I asked for the teddy bear cut but she looks a bit choppy and uneven and nothing like a teddy bear cut. They also did not cut her Dew claws Last two photos are for reference of how she looked prior to cut.

I have NEVER had such a good experience before with groomers for my malamute Kiba. They were extremely friendly and accommodating to our short notice for an emergency groom and exceeded all expectations. I never knew he could be so clean. They have made a new forever customer out of me. While they may be a little more expensive than going to a petsmart or other large company they are worth EVERY PENNY.I cannot thank the staff enough for doing such a fantastic job. Not only was he thoroughly groomed and trimmed they even were able to get him completely dry even. With his double coatThank you so much Kiba and I look forward to our next visit!!!

Great Customer Service Very Happy With My Dogs Grooming Service.I have been taking my Bobby Boy to Sarah for the last year she is so genital and always does a Great job. Sarah picks him up and drops him off every time he comes back excited that he got a hair cut and smells so good. I use A Handsome Hound Grooming Salon about once a month and will greatly keep using her services.

Update: I've upped the stars and removed the photos. I got a call from the shop because her toy had been left behind. Which, was one more thing to be frustrated about because that meant she didn't have it in the kennel, plus now I had to spend even more time to go back to get it. So I asked if she was a manager and she said she was the owner. Then I explained what happened and that this was supposed to be a introductory visit to grooming for our pup. Having a good experience was the goal - not the grooming. Basically make it a really good experience so she'd want to do this regularly. And the staff knew that. She explained that the gentleman I'd spoken with was not good on the phone, and repeated some of what he said - that they do have some dogs that will wreck their nails in the kennels. I understand that - in this case her nails clearly appear to have been cut by clippers. But I'm also not going to argue that it doesn't ever happen. I'm sure it does. Bottom line, I increased the rating because she apologized for the bad experience, which I didn't get when I called previously. That bad call is what drove me to write the bad review in the first place. From my perspective they had hurt my dog, were blowing me off, and denying responsibility for it. The owner herself was very nice, and she gave me some instructions on how to care for the nails. While I'm very unlikely to go back, I do appreciate her professionalism. They have a ton of good reviews, which is why we went, but we had an unfortunate experience.-----------------Very upset. Initially I was very pleased with her cut and wash, but when we got home she was acting weird. Her groomer (male) absolutely destroyed her back feet. 3 of her back nails are so far back the inner red wick is just hanging out. It's awful. I tried to call and the lady gave me to the groomer, who then tried to tell me she did it in her kennel. Which is complete nonsense. The wrecked nails are on her back feet. I ended up hanging up on him. First grooming experience ever and we certainly won't be going back. I realize mistakes happen, but it was 3 different nails. He very clearly didn't know what he was doing.

I am beyond pleased with this shop ! They have wonderful staff, and they took great care of my super timid little Pomeranian. They put a little Christmas tie on him today so he looked absolutely dapper. I highly recommend this place !

I took my 10 month kitten here & they did a great job. I also called back 2 days later to see if they could shave him a little more & they were more then willing to help. They explained it might be a risk and also offered for me to bring him back in so they can trim him. They had great customer service. Ive had a bad experience with my cats grooming elsewhere and im very glad i found this place and i will be bringing my cat back!

Wow. This place is fabulous. They did such an amazing job on my Australian shepherd/great Pyrenees mix that I didn’t even know she could look this good. Her fur is silky smooth and soft and they trimmed her fur exactly as I wanted. Not too much but not too little. They squeezed me in for a same day grooming which was fantastic. My dog is very shy and was scared but they handled it so professionally and I think made her feel welcome. Oh and best of all it was extremely affordable for the incredible work they did. I’m overall just super impressed and will be back for more! Thank you!!!

Stopped in to talk with the staff here after some struggles finding a groomer who would work with our golden doodle who has a bit of anxiety about grooming. The staff was very down to earth and took their time to understand my concerns and expectations. It was easy to make an appointment with just a few days notice. When I brought in our dog, the staff was very kind and patient with him. When I picked him up, much to my surprise, he was happy, not stressed like I've experienced elsewhere. He is a family pet, not a show dog, so I'm not much of a critic as it comes to his cut but it looked great to me. He was clean, smelled great, nails were trimmed and best all he was happy. The price was very reasonable and they've earned my future business. I can certainly recommend Handsome Hound for your family pets.

We will never bring our dogs back for grooming to Handsome Hound. We have never seen such poor craftsmanship when it comes to having our beloved dogs groomed. Our Poodle came back to us looking like it had just went to boot camp, unbelievable. We thought that we had found our new groomer but was sadly mistaken. If you decide to utilize there business please make sure you are very clear in what you want done and hope that they adhere to your wishes.Update: Owners response; Sorry to inform you but it was your grooming saloon that was the one to do the grooming. I didn't make a mistake except in bringing my "fur baby" there. I will end this here and now and leave this review without any further comments.

Walked in to get my Dalmatian's knife-like nails trimmed and was in and out in under 10 minutes. No squealing or drama. The girls were awesome and very sweet. Will definitely be taking him back for any other grooming needs. Highly recommend!

Sarah is phenomenal at what she does. I adopted a 4 year old Porkie who had never been to a groomers before. She treated him like her own and gave him 5 star treatment. Perfect cut, reasonable price, and great service!

Sarah and her groomers are very respectful and I have been going there for 6 year. I wouldnt go anywhere else. They are all very nice, loving and gentle to all the fur babies that they groom. I just cant believe how rude and disrespectful clients are to them. I have personally witnessed people getting upset over the fact that your dog has to be shaved when its fully matted. I stood behind this lady for 15 min as they expained why and what matts do to the hair. She didnt care at all. She was still rude to the groomer. That behavior is outrageous to as a person who has several animals and understand grooming should be done in 6 to 8 week. What some of these other clients don't understand is that it takes alot of patience to work on fur babies being groomed and it's not just a snap of your finger and there done. It takes time, skill and many years of experience to groom animals especially because you never know how an animal is going to act when they are in someone else's care. So with that being said sarah and her staff do an amazing job at everything they do. People just need to learn to be patient and understanding with groomers.

We started taking our fur baby here about 9 months ago. She is a senior dog with anxiety issues. Sarah has been fantastic with her. Their patience with her stress barking blows me away. Sarah is just is like "Eh, she does that when I'm out of sight (if she's greeting or checking out another customer) but stops as soon as she sees me again." Her cuts are always exactly what I ask for and look great. I've even been able to get her in with short term notice which might make for a slightly longer wait to pick her back up but their willingness to accommodate their clients is fantastic customer service. Fantastic shop, fantastic service.

I have had a hard time finding a place in the area that cuts a goldendoodle the RIGHT way. Handsome Hounds does a phenomenal jobs making my pup look like a goldendoodle and NOT A POODLE! They were both very kind with all of my questions and concerns. They even took him back once I saw him to take a little more hair off his head and ears. They do a very good job with his cut and he smells so so good, too!

The cut for my poodles was of poor quality. They did not have their ear hair plucked, in between toes not shaved, stenciled on hearts were barely visible. Seems the place changed ownership. Previous owner was amazing. Never going back to this place.
