We usually go to the Washington Square plaza even though it's smaller it is much better service. Stopped at this one because we were next to it.Couldn't find the handicap parking anywhere and then they have the carts with poles on them so you have to carry it to where you parked and I'm disabled so not a good start. My issue however was with David an older employee that seems to hate his job. I'm use to seeing boxes that are OK to use to carry cans in. I looked and only saw one that looked like it was next to boxes be unboxed and when I looked it had literally two small pieces of paper from the unpacking. Looking where to put it I simply decided since that looked like a trash pile I put it right next to the boxes. I was putting a few cans in the box and old man David looked rudely at me and said I would of gotten a box you didn't have to throw it all over the floor . Lol (it was already on the floor just in the box) with his rude David looks. Then basically proceeded to call me a liar and said he saw me when I said I didn't throw it on the floor. When I was trying to explain he just kept being rude and went grumbling over to the tiny trash grunting and moaning he had to pick it up. I asked him if he talked and acted like that to all the customers and he simply ignored me and walked away still being rude. I see why they get bad reviews a lot. The manager did ask me what was wrong which I simply said that he was extremely rude to a customer (even my wife and the people in line were seeing him act this way) and by that point I was pissed as this happened in front of my 2 yr old son but I'm hoping she will read this to hear my side of the story and I'm sure David skewed the facts about it. Watch the video 📹 of it if you can. This was on April 13th (Saturday) around 2 pm .Mr David so shouldn't be around customers with his rudeness and comments. This case warranted a bad review and hopefully this will be taken seriously.I wish the rest of the staff good will as one rotten apple never spoils the bunch.

Never EVER will I go here again. Rude employees, they charge for carry out bags. If you're not quick enough in packing your own bags, they push it in your face.Won't allow any baskets outside, clearly this is a bad neighborhood..This Dollar tree isn't worth it.

While the store appeared dirty, the great selection is worth a visit. As you would expect, most of the products are not quality, but still a great value for the low price. The staff was very friendly. When the registers became crowded, a third cashier materialized from thin air.

The store has seen better days. The exterior of the storefront has graffiti and mold. Inside is clean and mostly organized. The employees are polite.

This was my first time coming to this location.I loved it here, I found so much stuff. But they did not give me a bag or even asked if I needed a bag, I had bought so much stuff too. I was so confused on why I didn’t get a bag, like do I need to pay for one? They should put a bring ur own bag sign in the front instead of being rude.

Good sized store. Well laid out. Plenty of everything. Only one cashier open. Granted it was early on a Wednesday and the store wasn't that crowded. The line moved quickly and the cashier was friendly. She let me borrow scissors so I could cut off a tag to give my baby a toy that she wanted to play with right away.

They need to replace the a/c. It’s been broken every time I go there. I had to leave after a few minutes poor employees had fans at the registers. It is ridiculous.

Our cashier was really patient as my kids each had their own transaction to use the money that they have saved for a while. She treated them like she would any adult customer, and it really was a big deal to them. It's the little things like this why we will always be Dollar tree customers.

Went in store to do little shopping for dog food and can items.. Got to the dog food there was mice droppings in every box section and some of the dog food was chewed through.. I called asked to speak was manger once I got home because I asked while I was there and explained why and the young lady said she was busy... The fact that there was so much droppings mean they must not clean or check the shelf.

Now I know this is DT, but it is getting so bad there. Trying to check out and the two women were just talking about how the other one is lucky they didn’t call out today and so did the other, then one woman tells the other to open her register, but she continues to laugh about how she wanted to call in and then gets a drink and walks off....all while we’re all standing in line right there in front of them watching. Our cashier was busy making balloons for the current customer at the register....the other girl might as well have called in...she wasn’t actually working, just adding to our frustration of a 6+person line building up on a Saturday. This is the norm at this store at least for the past couple months. I’d rather pay a little more at walmart or target now.

If I was a visitor to Fredericksburg and happened by this Dollar Tree I'd leave town and never return. The parking lot and entrance are filthy. FILTHY! The trash can(s) were overflowing and stunk to high heaven. There were people smoking outside the entry doors so you had to hold your breath until you got inside. The staff was less than stellar but I was able to overlook this given the fact that it is a Dollar Tree, after all. I found what I was looking for among the messy shelves and got out of there ASAP to never darken that gross door if I can possibly help it.

Disappointed. I stopped by there the other day to check out the new store. On here it states they open at 8am daily, only to be told by the staff member outside smoking that the store doesn't open until 9am. Suggest the online get updated to be what's actually the store hours.

This Dollar Tree is dirty. The parking lot is filled with trash, the entrance is coated with dirt and leaves and the inside has years of old hangers coming from the ceiling. On the plus side, everything here is truly a dollar.

its not a bad store but it needs a little bit of work, the inside of the store is clean but when you get outside, it is very messy. the employees can be a bit rude though. You should go to the dollar tree at washington square, that one is a great store

Convenient location and tons of great inexpensive products and not just store brand, there are lots of name brand items too. Staff is helpful and will help you find items. Good hours too.

The rudest young lady that works there I asked where something was and was very rude and when I told her I found it she was every rude. Come on if you jobs that bad find another one or better yet just don't be rude.

Manager is rude as could be. Plan on making a written complaint, completely unacceptable customer service. Will never return to that location. Definitely reccommend you go elsewhere for any of your needs.

I really love Dollar Tree, but this location is filthy from the outside entrance. Come on Dollar Tree, invest in a power washer and get someone to empty your garbage cans - geez.

Dollar Tree is a very nice place to shop if you need something small and don't want to waste a lot of time in a grocery store to get some things that you need but you save a lot of money shopping in this store

Low prices for cheap stuff. Very convienant for a quick and often disposable item. Yes, the outside entrance has a trash can that at times is overflowing.
