I’ve shopped here for years. Some products are not that great, and others are brand name. The dishes and glasses are amazing for $1. I buy all of my greeting cards here, as well as wrapping paper and gift bags. I’ve also bought several food storage containers and organizing bins.I don’t buy a lot of their perishable food, but they have a very nice selection including milk, cheese, butter and frozen meals.The craft section is amazing. The same stuff you’d see somewhere else for 4-5 times the price. For the same thing.I have bought a lot of their non perishable foods: shelf stable milk, cereal, cookies, pizza, pizza sauce, pasta and cats treats.The best feature of the Dollar Tree is their seasonal items. They constantly rotate their stock to reflect what I need to buy: graduation decor, Fourth of July decor, Christmas, etc. the prices are better than any other store.I follow several people on YouTube who showcase things they’ve made from Dollar Tree items that compare to high end stores. It’s worth searching YouTube for Dollar Tree to see what comes up.I’ve not had a lot of luck with their electronics and tool sections.The staff is friendly and helpful.Plenty of parking and a public restroom.

Came to the store at 7:54 Pm .. it’s pouring rain and I walk up and they tell me the store is closed. It closes at 8 Pm. Why are they locking the doors 6 minutes early ? I get it’s a Sunday and you want to go home. But when people are coming up to shop in the rain you should be kind and let them in to get what they need quickly and leave.

Called about having a part-time position they said they were hiring. Was told on the day of my interview that they weren't hiring at this location. They had called me while I was on my way for the potential interview.At the time they were hiring at this location. It was on Indeed and the General Manager at the time lied. The Assistant Manager was the one that gave me the application. Didn't like the manager talking down to the Assistant Manager based on my inquiry to work when I arrived to the store.Don't waste people's time! If you're hiring it's a yes or no question.My first impression of this dollar tree was not good at all. I had a better experiences at other Dollar Tree locations. I would also shop at the Walmart in the plaza too.I did call corporate and I talked to the new manager at the time and she was able to talk with me regarding my experience at the store. I had called right before they closed. So she didn't have a lot of time to talk with me. But I did work later and wasn't able to call earlier in the day. Felt like I was inconveniencing her since she only had an hour to close.Be cautious if you want to work at this location.I've never experienced this before with any job I've applied since this incident. Because most jobs communicate and work with you if they're looking for potential candidates.

I came to this store on 9/1at 8:26am. The girl who assisted me was taking stuff off selves and seen me waiting at the first check line. I then made eye contact a couple of times to let her know I am ready. She seems annoyed came over. I said not sure if this is a good register or not. No words spoken still then flicks the light on. Still no words or total provided. No eye contact. Just pure annoyance of helping me. I then said thank you and have a great day. Still not a word. Probably one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever had. Definitely not going back to that location.

First time in this particular location. Quite impressed. Its a bit out of my way (well sort of but not really, just not as convenient for me, shall I say instead) but its: A very well stocked and organized store. Clean and orderly. Of all the Dollar Trees in the area, I would say I've had the most pleasant experience at this one. Lines were a bit long but moved briskly. My wait time in line was less than 6 minutes and I was about 5 transactions from the front. Cashier was friendly and efficient. Store is also very large in comparison to many so shopping was easy and browsing was simplified since the shelves weren't super close together or cluttered and disheveled. I will make this my new regular Dollar Tree location.

This is one of my favorite dollar trees. It's always clean and organized. Bathrooms are never a mess and the aisles are well kept . Customer service could be better but I sympathize with what they deal with on a day to day basis.

Most people were wearing their masks 😷, thank God, the reason why I say this is because some people do not have go immune systems, my mom and I. The cashier's were great, seemed happy to be at work 😀. The store was very clean.

The lady who manages the Washington square dollar tree is hateful. The word manager went to her head. She is unfriendly to people. The manager who use to be there was very friendly and very helpful.

Went here to pick up a small item and thought why don’t I just pick up some bread? Well, come to find out the buns I wanted were expired. So I thought well, let me just get a different type of bread. Nope expired too. So I told myself I’d forget about the bread and just pick up some cheese. Nope expired as well. I’m not saying expired as of last night, I mean two or three weeks. Upon relaying the issue to the workers (one of who I believe to be a manager) and asking if they have anymore I got “that’s all we have”. The second star is because they were well stocked (probably with expired stuff).

If I could give this store a zero rating I would, I called at 4:20pm today and asked them before I came in if they had any diaper wipes and was told yes, I get there at maybe 5:15 and look around for them, there is none. I go to the register and ask about it and was told to go speak with the manager about it so I did, the manager told me she did not feel like going through the back of the store to look for them because it would take some time because she did not know where they were, I told her I understand that but I had walked there to get wipes because I have a baby and I need them and was told that was not her problem. Another customer asked me what I was told and I told them, the manager then proceed to argue and say that she did not say that but had said it would take some time, I had plenty of time to wait and said I would wait but she absolutely refused to help me and told me it was not her problem

First time in this particular Dollar Tree store and it looks the same as the one in Burke. I think they probably all have the same basic layout. This one, like the one in Burke, is clean and we'll organized. I went in looking for specific items and found them right away, along with a couple of other items that I wasn't looking for. Even found one item that was only 79¢ and it was a name brand. Very nice, polite young man at the checkout register as well. I will definitely return to this store.

The employees are very courteous. Even though all the products are $1, or 2 for $1!!!👍👍😀 Most of the products are of great quality! I especially like the body washes, shampoos and conditioners. The deodorants and body sprays are also of good quality.

Nice cashier. Clean store. Amazing amount of inventory, constantly updated. Cashiers eager to help anyway possible! If you like to get a lot for your dollar this is the place for you! It has the only bench sheltered from the weather elements out front. Good deals and service.

I have been impressed with this location since it opened. Always clean and staff is always chipper and friendly. I usually get seasonal decorations, wrapping paper, stocking stuffers etc. from here and I have friends that are teachers and they LOVE all of the supplies they can get for their classrooms. People are complaining that the stuff is cheap.... well, yeah it is the Dollar Store... still, I am happy with the things I have purchased and the employee's they have.

great store and employees, even the manager was very friendly and even thanked my mom for coming in, they do have a pretty good selection and its easy to find everything with no problem, Cynthia a cashier is great, as well as Eugene, the sections for soda isn't too bad even though they dont sell 2 liter coke and Pepsi products but its no big deal, the Shasta root beer thy have is pretty good as well. other than that it is a good store and close to home

I am lucky that this Washington Square Dollar Tree is my local store, because the customer service here is excellent. Caring, friendly and efficient ~ I always leave this store feeling grateful for the service they do for our community! Thank You Dollar Tree

Cashier refuses to wear a face mask, when I kindly asked her to put one on, she refused and got mad. The manager didn’t help at all but escalated things. This is a pandemic and some of us care about our health. Will never shop from dollar store again.

I love shopping at dollar tree but this location is always messy. It makes it difficult to shop due to unopened merchandise on sales floor. There is always so much clutter which can be a trip hazard. Someone needs to step in and clean house

I love this Dollar Tree~ it is the farthest away from my home but the store is always clean, organized, well stocked, & has many items that I haven't seen locally...the staff is always friendly & helpful...I will travel the extra miles just to go there ☆☆☆☆☆

The worst place my daughter lost her pacifier that she had since she was born when i come back to the store for it and the lady who works there in a bad way tells me that she threw it away, I won’t came back to that place

The cashier carolyn ( i think that was her name) was rude..laughing and smiling with the customer in front of me but when i said good morning her look was like i was an inconviance for her very closed there are to many dollar trees for me to continue shopping here..sad cuz it is my nieghborhood dollar tree

I have gone to this same Dollar Store location for YEARS and today will be my last!!! I have 4 girls, all but 1 are above the age of 9 so I always let them wander to look for what they would like while I am shopping and have not once had a problem. Well today my next to oldest who is 11 did something stupid and threw a ball in the store.. smh! I heard a man yelling at a child for throwing a ball in the store and repeatedly screamed the same thing over and over more.. way more than he should have but I assumed it was a father fussing at his child because that does happen. I have seen kids do all kinds of things from throwing balls to riding bikes in the store but honestly it’s not that serious they are children and are to be corrected. I thought my girls knew a lot better than that and wouldn’t do such a thing but as I came around the isle to get them because I was only in there for wrapping paper the “manager” who was stocking the end of the isle very rudely asks me if “that is my child” and I answered yes is there a problem (I was also on the phone with my sister at this time) he basically belittled me telling me my child threw a ball that almost hit him in the face. So I turned to my 2 daughter’s in the toy isle and said “do what” my younger one says mama the ball was 4 ft from his face and she wasn’t the one the threw it. But I calmly turned around and apologized which in turn he gave a very sarcastic “yea I’m sorry too” so I was made at my daughter for throwing it and him acting like I left a 5 yr old in a isle alone to wreck his store along with talking to me like he was in some way better than me. Another employee who I will say always smells horrible comes around the corner and starts talking about my children and myself while they both stare. Each time I caught them they would turn away quickly. I am done with them. I put the wrapping paper back and yes said a few choice words very loudly so they knew I was discussed with their acts in regards to a ball being thrown! My children are normally well behaved and yes she was punished but I felt like because I didn’t scream at her or spank her in front of him he felt as if he was better than me. I want to also address the way he spoke to my child before I got there, which was like he was her parent. Let me tell you I will NEVER step foot on that store again nor will they ever get another penny from me. I go there a lot for my kids and myself and spend a lot of money in there but it’s ok there are plenty more “Dollar Trees” around! Plus if I did go back in there and saw him I’d end up in the back of a cop car because NO ONE is allowed to speak to my children like that but their father and myself. Just a FYI if you have children keep them away of the skinny white guy going bald with glasses because heaven forbid they do something they shouldn’t because I know if I didn’t care for the way he spoke that other parents wouldn’t either. He was extremely unprofessional should learn how to speak to the public even when he’s not so happy. Hell I do it every day!

This Dollar Tree recently expanded and now has refrigerated and frozen foods. Stock varies from national brands to off-brands. I've never been disappointed when I try something new.Need eyeglass repair kit, bowls, kitchen gadgets, cell phone accessories? They have that too.Crackers, cookies, bags of snacks, bottled water, toys, books?Big plus. EVERYTHING is $1! There's nothing you can't afford.
