This was the first time visiting this establishment. Our dog is usually very anxious about being separated from me and about baths in general so I usually try and do it at home. I had a deal for this particular place and we decided to give it a try. I met the owner Angela who was very empathetic to our concerns and explained the services and requirements. I didn't realize I needed my pet records but they were patient as I pulled the records up online from my vet. I explained my dog's anxieties and she placed her with an employee that would recognize the signs of anxiety and be patient with him. I loved that they had availability as a walk in client. When I picked up my dog it was absolutely apparent that he was washed and clean and nails trimmed. His markings and white fur sparkled and stood out. He smelled so good and he was happy and not stressed out. I spoke with the employee, Alisha, who had cleaned him and she said he only became anxious if he couldn't see out the window to look for me so she worked with that instead of trying to turn him. We are very pleased with our experience at this business and will definitely return and recommend them.

Probably my first ever public review on a place… staff is very friendly… HOWEVER not worth returning - Tried this place for the first time (thought it would be a good alternative than bathing at home). After seeing the supplies provided, it’s just not worth it. Much rather continue to bathe my dog at home than use this moldy brush that was provided for me. Will not be returning unless there’s a serious deep clean to this place. Crazy they call this a dog wash when the wash bay itself is disgusting.. and to top it off they make you sign a waiver not claiming responsibility if your dog gets sick… but yet they are washing dogs with this! Tried to buy a new brush at the store however don’t have any for sale. I ended up opting out for another brush from a basket that appeared much cleaner .. and still felt like I had to clean it myself before using..glad I brought my own towels and shampoo! The entire time washing, the water temperature fluctuates between extremely hot and cold on its own so beware of freezing your dog or burning them! BRB going home to re-wash my dog.-a place like this is truly a good idea, but could be so much better. I hope they take in consideration of the cleanliness. (Understandably gets dirty when washing dogs all day- just a difference between daily/hard work dirty and here’s this moldy brush dirty)

We use this place every couple of months for our special needs dog, Gadget. My wife is able to trim our other dog but Gadget will not allow her to trim him. The staff here are very friendly and take good care of Gadget. He’s really comfortable here (as much as he can be) and the staff adore him. We really appreciate everything they do here.

This is a great place! I’ve been coming here for years to get nail clips and baths for my dog. The prices are great and the staff and owner are always so friendly. They even squeezed me in right before they closed for a full service wash last year when I had to suddenly go out of town and my dog was in desperate need of bath and nail clip before we left. I highly recommend bringing your pet here!

We take all of our fur babies to the one on 17! They are Always excited to go and are clean and so well groomed when we pick them up! The groomers spoil them and pay such good attention to problem areas. Sensitive skin, no problem. Black nails, never had a too short cut. Thank you DP for helping is keep our pups healthy and happy!!

I took my long hair dog to Dirty Paws for a bath/groom/nail grind. She had a lot of matting in her back pant area which inlet the lady at check in know. The owner was there at drop off and heard me telling the lady at the counter. The owner let me know she’d check out my dog before we left to be sure they got them. I went back a couple hours later to pick up my dog and the owner came out to check. She felt a few more matted spots, so she took my dog back in and and trimmed up the spots herself to be sure I was satisfied. Upon leaving the owner even sent us home with a dog brush. I was very happy with our experience and would recommended Dirty Paws to others.

My dog had an appointment at 8 am and there door was locked. Another customer also tried around 815am door was still locked so I waited in my car for an hour, watching them at 830am lock and unlock the door just for the workers because their opening sign said 9 and online also. So once they opened right a 9 and turned on their light that they were open, all of a sudden, the groomer had 5 dogs ahead. Truly poor service I should have been told to maybe knock on the door because groomers are there an hour before store hours. I'm truly disappointed with the customers service and they didn't try to accommodate me. The really didn't care and didn't offer any solutions like hey we can get you a appointment another day. I've been a customer for over 4 years and I will never go back based on the way I was treated.

First of all the best customer service I've had anywhere in the past 5 years. Thank you for such a great experience. Kim the groomer took care of my dog Thurman (Go Bills) and it was the best he ever looked. The Owner I believe her name is Angela, is the best. Before I came in for a bath my dog had a little accident and needed some first aid, without hesitation she came to the rescue. You can tell when someone takes pride in their work and Angela definitely does that. See you soon.

Today 7/29 was my first time bringing my dog Tegan to Dirty Paws. We used the newest location off of 17, I had a fantastic experience. I chose the self wash option and was happy with the different varieties of shampoos. The washing station is simple and easy to use, there are aprons to wear if needed. After washing and towel drying, I was able to finish the drying process by blow drying Tegan at the drying station. There was a very nice lady who walked me through the whole process and assisted me when I needed, for that I am thankful. Tegan even got a cute bandana after her bath and she smells so fresh! I noticed when walking back to the wash stations all the other dogs at the facility seemed calm, happy, and were handled with care. I also noticed how incredibly clean everything is. We will definitely be back!

I’m a nervous dog mom and am hesitant to drop my pup off and leave her anywhere. they took amazing care of my Great Dane. She looked so pretty and fresh when I picked her up. I would definitely bring her back for a bath with no worries or concerns.

When we dog-sit for my brother, we always take the little guy here for nail cuts. Always super friendly and fast! We went Sunday (7/3) and for the first time did a full-wash/groom for our 13 year old chihuahua. They said it would take 40 mins to an hour, really only took 10 mins. Probably because he's a small guy, but still quicker than we thought. His fur was so soft and they gave him a cute little bandana to wear out as well. And when my sister had a bunny, they more than welcomed her for nail cuts too!

Wow these guys are really great!! They took the Pinkster in at the end of their day. They were so nice about it. I couldn’t do one more day with my dog and his claws He’s like an ADHD 2 year old in a china shop non stop. He thinks its proper to inspect every inch of your person every time you walk in the door doesn’t matter if it’s been 5 minutes or 5 hours and here lately. when you’re the only one bleeding after his every “welcome home hysteria level 9000 lick fest.” You start wonder just how seriously dangerous could this become? So yeah I was at that level of it’s either CLAWS OR PAWS. Ahhhh. So happy it was quick and painless and I even got a night of peace and quiet when he ended up in jail after escaping under the fence as soon as we returned home. Someone scooped him up and took him away. I’m Including his mug shot. Thanks ladies. He’s showing you his manicured paws. He lost is manhood the next morning when they neutered him immediately before his release. Hope y’all enjoyed the Turkish baklava!! Cause I’m enjoying not having any puncture wounds since our visit.

My baby boy Huckleberry isn’t the normal dog and he is very very spoiled. So finding a groomer that works with me is very hard, until Dirty Paws Stafford VA. Sabrina opens the shop up one hour early for my baby every visit. Just to have the quiet time he needed to relax. Thanks so much!

Terrible and that’s just trying to get an appointment. I have tried several times calling, ( no voice mail), a few texts, even email, to make an appointment for the works for my 2 dogs. After 2 phone calls during their work hours, I sent my first text letting them iI had a Groupon and they did respond that those were not valid and to call for an appointment. I called the next day during work hours, no pick up, no voice mail. I then responded by text, thinking they had some semblance of professionalism finally responding to one text, and told them Groupon thing was not a problem. I would pay full price for bathing, grooming, and furminating, that I had called with no pick up , that I just wanted to make an appointment anytime they were the least busiest would be fine. That I would pay their full prices. I asked when was the best time to call. No response. I called the next day and no pickup so I EMAILED them and asking them could they please call me. No response. I could not have been more flexible. As a result they have lost at least a $300 session, maybe more for 2 dogs, and I will tell everyone within earshot not to use them. Their lack of professionalism and inability to maintain business as described on their website is appalling. I would give them a 0 if I could. Public needs to know. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE!

I highly recommend Dirty Paws!! I go to the southpoint location and the staff is amazing. They are always so nice and they treat my furbaby like their own! I’ve been taking my shih tzu, Cookie, here since she was 8 weeks old. She absolutely adores Courtney and we do too! She does a wonderful job. I know my pup can be hard headed (she does not like to be groomed, or at least she doesn’t like it when I groom her 🤣) and they are so patient with her which I love. I refuse to take Cookie to anyone else. My dog literally gets excited when I tell her we’re going to the groomers. 🙌🏽

Love this place!!! We take our rambunctious German Shepard here and she absolutely looks smells and feels amazing once she comes back home, the owner is super gentle and compassionate about the animals and even let me stay back there with my pup while he groomed and bathed her because I was so nervous she might act up with me away. Would highly recommend this place btw he takes good care of LEO and first responders!

The People here are the best. They treat your dogs with love and respect. If you want your fur baby cut a certain way they will do their best to to do that. I have a Chinese Crest Powder Puff, their normal cut is to be shaved down with just a puff of hair on their head. I don't like that so I get a puppy cut and my little on is just a cutie when they get done. Big than you to Courtney she is great with my little one , Miss Jade. These are two shots from two different visits and she is just a doll. Dirty Paws so much better and than the one at petsmart.get it.Update:6/16/23Courtney was so wonderful with my girl Sasha today. Sasha is my pittie who is 9 and my ESA dog. She has a thing about her feet and trying to get her nails cut is ne t to impossible, the vet couldn't do it. Courtney took on the task and she had not one bit of a problem with Sasha. Courtney and the staff have always done a great job with my animal babies. Thank you all so much. If I could give more stars I would , 5 isn't enough.

Just washed our GS at DirtyPaws Dog Wash & it was an excellent choice . Great price, but most important, very friendly & informative staff/owner. Will definitely utilize them going forward. Actually the nice owner gave me another location that will be more convenient & closer for us. That’s wonderful customer service. Thank you 😊

I’ve been bringing my fur baby here for years and I’ve always been happy with the services.Unfortunately, today was horrible.I purchased a Groupon for bathing and wanted to add a cut The lady at the front desk immediately got an attitude because I was questioning her about the Groupon that she said I couldn’t use. I was willing to pay the $60-$70, however, after her unprofessionalism and her rude tone, there is no way I would leave my fur baby at this place.The rude lady stated I’m the owner (Angela) and I’m losing money with Groupon (whose fault is that) you shouldn’t advertise on Groupon if you do not want customers to use it!She also stated don’t get mad with us it’s Groupons fault ( I was not mad at all just asking questions which that is my right.I told her I will be doing a review and this was going to be my last time coming here; she stated go ahead because I will back it up!There’s nothing to back up when you were unprofessional and rude (rolling your neck & a disrespectful tone).I will no longer bring my fur baby here and I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE AT ALL!!

I sent over a couple of my friends to this location, they were met by the groomer Sabrina. After both visits, they exclaimed how professional and personable she is. She is very careful, very dog friendly and treated those dogs like her own family. They have and will be taking their dogs back there and they have given great reviews/spread the word. Highly recommend.

They charge a late fee if you're late picking up your dog. I had no knowledge of the late fee it's not on the website or the paperwork I filled out. And they did not make me aware of it when I left my dog there they charged me $20 dollars for the late fee

I just had the worst customer service experience of my life. I found a Groupon online for a dog wash for my two dogs Lola and Bella. I figured I’d give this place a try especially with such a good deal. I made sure to read the fine print so that I may use them which states “limit 2 per person”. In addition to be extra sure I made sure to call before I even bought the Groupon to ensure I could use it without an appointment and they said that was fine. When I arrived to the location I even told the receptionist who I will not name when I first walked in that I had 2 Groupons, one for each dog, to which she assured me I’d be able to use when I picked up my dogs. I asked for them to grind the dogs nails as well which would be $9 each which I agreed to. I provided proper vaccination records and was told they would be ready to go in an hour. I was running late to pick them up and they did have to wait for me. When I arrived I apologized to which the receptionist told me not to worry about it. They advised me there would be a late fee of $11 for every 15 minute interval that I was late per dog which was completely understandable. Now when they decided to charge me they told me that I would only be able to use one of the Groupons for one of the washes. I did not understand because in our previous discussion I was told I’d be able to redeem both. The receptionist called her manager who I later learned to be the owner. The receptionist came back and advised I would only be able to use one Groupon per transaction. She emphasized this is what she was told and there is nothing she could do about it. The receptionist then said “the only other thing I could do is have you speak with my boss” to which I agreed. The receptionist put her boss on speaker phone. I started by introducing myself saying “yes this is Joceline” to which she responded “yes this is the owner Angela. I heard you have a complaint about Groupon”. Once I started explaining she stated “I’m going to stop you right there before you go any further” and started yelling over the phone about how she is not associated with Groupon and that she had ended her contract with Groupon. She went on about how she does not make any money off the Groupon services so she is only able to honor one of them. I tried to explain the details of the fine print and the Groupon but she just kept talking over me. She then said “on top of all of this you were late so I have to pay my employees overtime” which I think is not relevant and unnecessary to mention because that is not what my complaint was about. Angela kept going on and on about her losing money and she would not let me voice my complaint. It got to a point where I had to tell the owner Angela that there was no point in continuing the conversation because she kept yelling at me and was not letting me speak while I was trying to have a respectful conversation with her. I told her that she should learn to be more respectful to her clients and ended the call. Again this is me speaking at a normal tone of voice and the two employees can confirm this for you. I never resorted to yelling or name calling during the whole conversation which was not much of a conversation but more so Angela screaming over the phone. After I hung up the phone i told the receptionist and groomer “I’m sorry you have such a difficult boss”. I decided to just pay for the wash, nail grinding, and late fees. Then the phone started ringing again and the receptionist answered and put Angela back on speaker phone. She was talking to the employees looking for confirmation that she is a “good boss”. I went ahead and hung up the phone because I no longer wanted to speak to her and just wanted to pay and leave. I even pleaded with the receptionist to please stop answering and putting her on speaker phone because I no longer wanted to listen to her. I continued to try and finish the transaction when she called once again, and was put back on speaker. I finished paying and left. This lady has no sense of respect or customer service. Please stay away from this place.
