I read the reviews here....its not the worse cvs. They do answer the phone so they have fixed the issue. Refills are done timely. Staff is friendly. So for all those reasons they get 4 states.They don't get 5 because staff is not experienced ....any small issue they can't slove it or their solutions are....absurd...When you walk In....they are always having a co worker party. Chatting ....and your the only person in line/drive thru ... they chat/laugh while you wait 10 mins for them break away from their so precious conversation.Mind you this is like 4+ empolyees who are doing this....and this wasn't just a one time thing. This is daily. This is an management issue and the manager should take some type of action on this. I mean come on its a pharmacy where people are getting meds that may be life saving not a waffle house ....where people can just be hanging out....

This pharmacy has led to a weeks worth of headache.After arriving to the pharmacy drive thru at 6:10pm and waiting in line for 20 minutes to get to the window. I was ignored by the woman on the phone and another in there stocking things. No one acknowledged that there were a line of people waiting to pick up/drop off medications.There was no note up that they were closed and the hours listed on the window stated that they were open until 9PM.I tried coming back the next day for an employee to tell me they sent my prescription back because they didn’t have it…Find another pharmacy folks because CVS is not worth the headache.

I’ve been filling prescriptions with this CVS since it opened. Although I gave it only two stars, I continue to go there because the store is conveniently located, and the pharmacy staff, when worked with in person are usually very helpful.Call or go to the window, and I find the service very good. But try to get a new script processed electronically, or order something through the website and it is absolutely awful. There seems to be some sort of disconnect between the pharmacy staff and doctor’s offices, insurers, and their own online system that can only be resolved in person. Otherwise it makes little sense and there and there is no follow up.

Misty and the team went Above and Beyond to fill my multiple orders, and squeeze me in for 2 vaccinations! The attention to detail without skipping a beat with the large line of customers was truly an A+ performance in Customer Service! Kudos.

My medication was sent to the wrong address! This is the worst pharmacy ever! I would highly recommend for nobody to choose this pharmacy because they are terrible! Would give zero stars if I could!

People only tend to leave reviews when they've had a bad experience, I love how convenient cvs is and all the deals they have, making everything more affordable. Anyway Every-time i am here and whenever i need assistance I am always helped with kindness and everyone is always willing to do what they can to help me. Today JENNIFER the cashier helped out and did everything she can to make sure i was satisfied with my experience today. Thank you Jennifer for being positive and willing to help me with my needs, And her manager as well that helped her out when she needed assistance !!!

Approx 1 month ago I had an emergency where I had misplaced a bottle of C4 schedule meds. The white lady pharmacist that doesn't work there very often, she told me she wouldn't refill it despite my doctor having already called in the replacement. Went so far as to call the police and attempt to get me arrested for DUI. I have physical handicap and cant walk with a normal gait from a bad injury a year ago. The white lady pharmacist went full Karen (not tech, their techs are usually helpful). might want not make distrusting assumptions to needlessly upset and attempt to wrongfully criminalize your customers. I wasn't arrested that night was I? No, but nearly an hour of police in my face was extremely needless and unpleasant.

Pharmacy needs to communicate better with customer when it comes to prescriptions. Was waiting on a prescription that I was told would be ready in an hour, when I went to pick it up after an hour, this is during my lunch break, they said another 30….. really???? Then I get to work, and it’s finally ready. This is medicine I need for work. Do better!

The first thing my husband and I noticed when we walked into the store was how clean and neat it was.Everything was in order, and the signs were clear,so we were easily able to find what we were looking for.The person working there was helpful and friendly.We felt very comfortable shopping there.

Worst customer service by “Steven” who says he’s the pharmacist. On hold for over a half hour then he tells me the exact opposite of what the pharmacist told me that I had talked to the day before. Even if the first pharmacist was wrong, she acted like she cared and tried to understand the situation. (The doctor had changed the prescription dosage and apparently they did not get the new script that was sent from the doctor) This guy cut me off in mid sentence time and time again. I understand that everyone is struggling with less than full staff but good customer service goes a way. I’m sure if any CVS executive would have heard him speak to a customer that way he would be fired on the spot. I finally got my answer, I can pick the new prescription up on Monday. Sorry pharmacist Steven if that was too difficult of a question for you, next time try listening.

I believe I have the majority on my side when I say that I’m so over CVS with their unrelenting array of excuses combined with their cold, care-less demeanor where consistency in having your needed medications seems to be a suggestion to them rather than a minimum standard. It’s so ridiculous no matter which one you visit to the point I feel like I’m having to beg and fight to get my medications processed and filled every time, and every time I’m given excuses. I understand things happen and get delayed but it’s EVERY TIME. To make the situation worse, communication from them via text messages is almost nonexistent and using their website to push one of your prescriptions through just doesn’t work. Can’t call any of the CVS pharmacies because they refuse to answer. While waiting in the jam packed line for the pharmacy, we listen to a little bit of music with “8 PHARMACY CALLS, 9 PHARMACY CALLS, 7 PHARMACY CALLS…..no one even glances at the phone.My Situation:I take two medications daily and have been for years, same insurance for years, same address for years. Unfortunately the type of medications I take cannot be placed on automatic refill even though one of my medications is sent over to CVS with 3 months of post-dated scripts. I can’t get CVS to start filling my scripts through their website, they will not answer the phone, so I’m forced to go into the pharmacy and stand in the long line just to tell them to fill my prescription that’s already been in their system. I literally turn around and walk to the end of the line and begin waiting again…. by the time I get back up to the counter sometimes it’s ready. If there isn’t much of a line then I sit and wait until it’s ready.Today-Sunday 1/9/2022My doctor sent my prescription over on Thursday 1/6/2022 @1pm. 3 business days later(today) I go in just to be told it’s processing?!? I politely added that it was sent on Thursday. I’m hit with the snow storm excuse but she kindly added that she would expedite my script but still wouldn’t be ready until tomorrow morning. Granted I did come in close to their closing time but I’ve already gone 3 days without medicine, and honestly would it have ever gotten filled if I didn’t go into the pharmacy? I’ve had pharmacists turn my prescription into medicine in a cvs bag and checked out in less than 7 minutes.I really wish some other options or choices for pharmacies and/or prescription service comes available in the near future. If a chain pharmacy was to open up that payed and treated their employees well, provided fair customer service, and refused to settle for substandard prescription turnaround times, their only problem would be finding a place to store their outrageous amount of cash flow. They’d have my business for sure because CVS is no longer an appropriate not adequate solution for my prescription needs.

I have had so many issues with this CVS. They have given me the wrong dose of medication. Then the monthly prescription keeps getting delayed a day here and there. Now I'm a month out of my medication. I have spoke to 4 different people at the pharmacy, each saying they will call me with updates. Each saying that the script will be in within the week. I have called many times and nobody answers the phone unless you call in and press #2 saying you are with a dr office. I have been polite and understanding the entire time knowing that sometimes it is out of their control. Well today I was told that it is in stock at their distributor and that they have ordered it. Why is this just being done? Why did I have to miss a whole month of my prescription? I'm am done with CVS. I understand why they have 2 stars. I am so disappointed at the way this has been handled. It makes it feel like if you are nice then nothing gets done. 😡 So irritating

Switched to this CVS after the one in Target closed. They are horrible. Tried to call and tell me that our insurance won't fill the prescription (which the other pharmacy filled no problem) and that I needed to get something over the counter. When I tried to tell the pharmacy this the woman hung up on me. I've been trying to call and speak to someone for over 30 minutes and no answer. If you're looking for a pharmacy don't use this one. It's no wonder they keep closing them down.

I hate to leave a bad review but I have to be honest. My doctor transferred my and my sons prescriptions here on a Tuesday.(We’re from out of state) I went to go pick them up the following THURSDAY and they hadn’t been filled yet. RIDICULOUS..Not only that but they couldn’t find my sons name in their system so instead they gave me his medicine with my name on the bottle and we all know that’s a big NO NO.When I asked the cashier she told me it was fine that they probably just put him under me (which was weird)..Anyway I ended up calling my pharmacist back home and she told me to take that bottle back ASAP and have them fix it. Sure enough the second go around a different cashier this time was able to pull up my sons profile in their system. After about 30 mins they finally fixed it and the pharmacist apologized and gave me his medicine for free. I suppose after leaving and coming back 3 times then having to wait additional time she felt bad. This was a mistake that could’ve easily been avoided if they had just double checked.

Ok they have a lack of employees issue in the pharmacy, same as others, however they are providing zero customer service.1. They keep changing hours without updating website, so waste gas just to find it is not open.2. The pharmacy is not answering the phone at all.3. They are not completing prescriptions (shows in process), until you come in and then they "expedite" it, which is at least a 1 - 2 hr wait.4. They closed the inside pharmacy & only have drive-thru open, wasting a lot of gas & destroying the environment, sitting in line.5. Combination of 3 & 4, sit in drive-thru line to get prescription "expedited", then come back & sit in line again to pick up, double wasting gas.

Pharmacy seemed to have a rough patch a few months ago, but have turned the corner. New staff appear friendly and eager to help, and smile. Older staffers consistently professional, knowledgeable and remember us as frequent customers. Keep up the trend!

We visited an urgent care facility for our infant. We called this CVS for our prescription around 12:45pm immediately following our appointment. They informed us our prescription would be ready at 2-2:30pm. We decided to go home since we had our sick infant with us. I drove back to this CVS and arrived at 2:55pm, they informed me they would not be done for another couple hours because they were busy. Do they not realize all of their customers do not live right next to their location? If you can’t guarantee the time you give a patient then at least inform them that it is an estimate and they should call before coming to the pharmacy. This wasted an hour of my time and still no medicine for my child.

I was on hold for 20 minutes, drove to the drive-thru while still on hold for a pharmacy rep, witnessed 6+ employees ignore my phone call (one of whom was just standing there stretching his arms), before having to repeatedly press the call button to get someone's attention. Then, after all of that, was told that my required daily med was unavailable without a doctor's message....on Christmas Eve. So, here I am, out of town, without my medication and zero assistance. If something happens to me, folks know why. Terrible service.

DONT GO THERE THEY DO NOT HAVE A PHARAMICIST!!! I put in for a refill 5 days ago of my very important heart medication and it still was not filled. They do not answer the phone. I desperately had to beg the store manager to transfer my prescription to another store so I could get my HEART medication that I need to live. Have all your medication transferred to another CVS. This one is dangerous.

If I could give no stars I would. I understand that the pharmacy is under staffed, but leaving a customer on hold for over 90 minutes is unexplainable. This is a common occurrence and they don’t seem to care about fixing the problem. I shouldn’t have to drive to the store to have a controlled prescription filled only to be told I’ll have to pick it up the following day. Corporate office really needs to fix this problem.

I feel bad to write this negative review but I had to so that it might get better. I called twice & was on hold for more than an hour no response. I had to drive just to know if prescription is ready for pick up. While I was waiting in line I could hear auto machine keep saying there were 9 callers waiting & nobody picked up the phone. Plus, this place is has never been cleaned for months. You can’t even use their bathroom, it’s filthy unfortunately. Especially during pandemic time places has to be cleaned & sanitized regularly.

They have my life saving prescription on back order. Which means it has a hold on it. Ive tried other cvs after a week and being told another location has it. They dont. I cant transfer the script to Walgreens because of the hold. On top of that they wont answer the phone for Walgreen's. Im completely out now. The women at the counter told me there 6 days behind. Look Im sorry but I'm gonna end up in the hospital. Just answer your phone 5 min call. Please! I'll never be back this is awful.

I never write bad reviews, but this company deserves it. It is a corporate issue. The pharmacy is drastically understaffed. They do not answer phones. They created 2 profiles for my son and had everything messed up. CVS did not return my emails. Go somewhere else.

This is the worst CVS I have ever delt with as I am writing suppose I have been sitting still on hold for a whole hour this is ridiculous. I have dealt with a lot of CVSs but this one takes the cake they don't answer the phone or nothing , you can never get any help from them. It started this week I went to pick up my prescription and the whole drive-thru was shut down I was so upset because I am a disabled woman and I did not want to have to walk into this store all these people, so then I have another prescription that I need to fill and it keeps saying it is in process so I'm trying to get ahold of them today to see will it be ready so I can pick up both well obviously I'm going to have to go in there tomorrow and deal with all of this because this is bad customer service

One star is too much for this store. The wait time is ridiculous for the pharmacy. The store is great. I have waited for them to answer the phone for over 60 minutes. When you leave your doctor to get a prescription filled it takes forever even when your standing there. This store does not care. We will go elsewhere.

Unfortunately this CVS is under staffed & my only complaint is they stop sending me text that my scripts are READY FOR PICK-UP, because I get here and 4 out of 5 times they are NOT ready. By far the worst customer service of any CVS in Fredericksburg VA. I suggest going elsewhere. If not for all my meds being on automatic refill, I would take the time to go elsewhere.The employees up front are friendly as is the pharmacist himself, but the other's in pharmacy department are sadly overwhelmed and taking out their frustrations on loyal customer's.. 😕

Worst pharmacy ever. 1st day prescription not filled (there were probably 15 other people when we were in there with the same issue). Next day they closed at 2pm, and then checked again on Saturday (because their sign said sorry we will be back open at 9am the next day) and there’s a giant sign out front that says pharmacy closed Saturday and Sunday. DO NOT USE THIS PHARMACY. This has been an ongoing issue with them for a while and we will be using another pharmacy.

Overpromise and under deliver. This location is convenient with good employees, but the volume of prescriptions seems to overwhelm the staff in the pharmacy. Note that this is likely a top management decision that unfortunately hurts employees and customers. With CVS and others taking over the small mom and pop pharmacies..... they also reduced the competition, that makes situations like this endure.

New Pharmacist is unbelievably rude.. Was told 3 different times that I could pick up my prescription. Needless to say that I ended up taking ALL prescriptions to my pharmacist in Lake Ridge that I miss so much since moving down here.... Had no problems whatsoever! They were even questioning what the hell this guy was talking about... Sadly the CVS by my house (Ruther Glen) is no better so I thought since my doctor is at PRATT across the street this one would be convenient, but not at all!!! If I have to go to Woodbridge or wait till I make a trip up there to fill my prescriptions then that's what I will have to do because this is absurd!!! Even when you take the time to do these surveys AND call the corporate office and no one can follow up with a return call!?!?! I should be switching pharmacies all together!! Just my opinion...
