I entered the store to ask where Art Mart was. They informed me that it was permanently closed but asked if me or my two friends had any interest in or questions about wine. Out of curiosity, I asked about Port wines. John "Rags" Ragland told us they had two bottles they were sampling that day. What a coincidence! I had samples of two different ports and we bought two bottles Croft and two bottles of red. We signed up for the email listing too. John "Rags" Ragland enlightened me about many things related to wine, and I'm thankful for his expertise.

The owners are knowledgeable and educated about wine and distribution. In the case you need something specific, they will go out of the way to retrieve what you seek. The selections in-store are diverse and continue to grow. There is a great benefit to joining their 'wine club' and receiving a monthly select (usually imported) wine pair with crackers.

A wonderful shop with a surprisingly diverse collection of wines, some of which I've not even seen from wine shops in NYC or DC. Very impressed with the selection and prices.The owner is extremely friendly, welcoming, and hands on along with being knowledgeable about her products.I will be returning anytime I'm in old town Fredericksburg!
