The pharmacy service is just as horrible as the Rite Aid pharmacy was. I have called and sat on hold twice today. Each time was 25 min. They would pick up the phone quickly and hang up or they would answer and say “thank you for calling, we’ll be right with you”. I don’t consider 25 minutes “right with you”. I was told to call back today if I hadn’t heard from the pharmacist…but I can never talk to anyone! This store will shut down just like Rite Aid because people will start taking their business elsewhere to get better service. I’m going to be one of them! It’s absolutely ridiculous!

Wouldn’t even give them a one star if I didn’t have to. This pharmacy is horrible. With the exception of 2 on staff there, customer service is the worst. Don’t answer phones, place you on hold and never come back to the phone, if they do they hang up on you when you’ve been waiting on hold for nearly 30 minutes… I tried to pick up a prescription twice this week and was told my insurance wasn’t covering it (a medication I pick up every single month without issues) called my insurance and of course the problem was on the pharmacy’s end…tried to call in to get the problem resolved, staff answered my call on speaker phone. Placed me on hold and hung up on me. Called back and waited another 15 minutes, someone picked the phone up and hung it up. Only using this pharmacy because it is the only one that accepts my insurance but cannot wait until January to be done with them completely!!!

Pharmacy is not consistent, at all. Not the slowest pharmacy I've been to but meds are never ready when I 1st arrive and never ready when I leave & come back at the time they specify. A waste of time. Also, their drive-thru has been closed for over a month.

Absolutely the worst I've ever used. Several attempts to pick up prescriptions after I recieved a text telling me they were available for pick up. Still have nothing. Previous week was a prescription of 30 pills but they only gave 6. Had to get my nurse to call and help. No reason given, just gave me 24 more pills. Now, my app tells me "Action needed. We are unable to process your order". This is after my visit to pick up this order today. What the actual &@%@?

I would give no stars to be honest!! Long wait just to talk to Pharmacy staff. There is a national shortage on a medication(Adderrall) I take and simply wanted to know if they could fill my prescription. I normally use Walmart and they have been out for over a month. They suggested I just call around so, I unfortunately tried Walgreens Pharmacy in Franklin, VA. Was long wait on the phone just to reach someone in pharmacy. When I did finally speak with pharmacist, was told they don't give out that information. He did say, if my Doctor needs that information he could call them and they would provide that information to him or he could e-scribe them for the medication and if they couldn't fill it they would notify him. This makes no sense! Then it would take two days just to be told Walgreens couldn't fill it. Then where does that leave me? Two days later calling myself different pharmacies to try and locate the medication?So I just hung up and, no joke, spent 4 hours calling pharmacies to finally locate it at Kroger N Main Suffolk(10 stars for them). They were all excellent, courteous and helpful. Except Walgreens in Franklin! I didn't care how many pills they had in stock and that wasn't what I was really asking. They made me feel through out the call and after like I was doing something wrong. I just wanted to know if they could they fill my prescription or not! They were very rude and the ONLY pharmacy that wouldn't say if they could fill it or not. They made me feel like a criminal honestly.Do they really think my doctor has the time to spend on the phone( for me it was literally over 4 hours!) to call pharmacies or send multiple control escripts(which pharmacist did suggest) to different pharmacies and see who could fill it or rather bombard my doctor's office with faxes saying they were out and couldn't fill it?Walgreens in Franklin VA only pharmacy of the many and I mean many I tried calling that was rude, not helpful and really their only answer made no sense given the known national shortage!!!Never again will I call or even go into that specific Walgreens to make any purchase from the store or pharmacy!

The worst pharmacy service in the country. It would probably be better to shut this location down so people in this city can go somewhere else where they can get what they need without being so frustrated. Been going here every month for a couple years now, but not for long….

Not only are the people rude, the older male pharmacist was mean to my 81 year old mother! All she wanted to know was how to sign up for a Covid booster and if they had Moderna. He yelled at her and told her she needed an appt. A day later I went in, saw a different pharmacist, and she told me that she could make an appt for the booster there because the priority was to get as many people boosted as possible. She is the only reason I'm giving two stars. Everything else about this Walgreens deserves zero stars...

Walgreens won't fill a prescription unless it's called in. Doctor gave me a hard copy of the prescription to get because it wasn't sure who would even have it. (There's a shortage right now) Walgreens won't even tell me they have it without a prescription being called in. I would have to get my doctor to call in the prescription just to find out they don't have it and then I have to wait for them to get in because I can't use the hard copy prescription anywhere else for legal reasons. Why does everything have to be so fn difficult?

Pharmacist on duty . Sorry I missed his name Africa American pharm D. You know who you are. You were on duty 2/20/23.7.30pm He was full of empathy. Things were very busy in the back but he was non judgmental, took my prescriptions and told me it would be ready in 20 mins..and he was right. I have switched to Walgreens. He is not lazy. I am in healthcare as well and I know it can be hectic in the back as sometimes pharmacists dont even get a lunch break. The ladies working with him were very profesional as well. Rite aid needs training from you guys

The number you call for refills is Always. Always messed up. I can order half my prescriptions 4 days early. And drive up ftom NC and they’re not ready. Horrible Walgreens

I use to love going in to Walgreens they always had such friendly & helpful employees but I haven't been there in about 3 yrs because there new cashiers do nothing to help & they look miserable. Last night I went in to get a few things that were on Sale but since I hadn't been there in awhile I forgot my phone #..instead of helping me the cashier was looking at me like "too bad" I asked her if I can add my new phone # or start a new account. What hassle she made it out to be. I was explaining to her I bought most of the items because I would get te discount and if I didnt ask about adding my # she would of let me leave. SMH. Not good business

Went in today, prescription was not ready, person at the drive thru was very rude and loud. Made the comment "Do you realize we have 85 people ahead of you!" Statement unprofessional and down right rude. Walgreens you really need to check this employee. One more thing, she lied and said my doctor had not called in the prescription, but when she saw me pull out my phone, that's when she said, let me go check. When she came back she then told me, we just checked the voicemail and we have it. I just want her to know your character and integrity plays a big part when dealing with medication. If you're frustrated and can't handle customers, please go home and find a more suitable job before you make a medication error at the drive thru. Please don't holler at the customers because our money keeps you employed. At this point, I do have a choice to get my refills somewherelse. By the way, i didnt see 85 people waiting, please take your frustrations out somewherelse. Your behavior was unexcusable and unacceptable. Never had a problem with Walgreens until now!

First off, it takes FOREVER to reach a person to speak to in the pharmacy. When you do get someone, they rush you. Then they won't tell you if something is there. AND while you're on the phone with them you can hear them complaining and huffing and puffing if you ask a question. Rude. Incompetent. They keep saying they don't have the perscription. I'm very upset with the way Walgreens treated me,they told me that I could pick my prescription up on 3/31/23,so when I get there they tell me 15mins,left came back and they tell me they're computer is not accepting the prescription and they had to put paperwork into the system,I asked how long,they tell me they don't know go home,Mind you I didn't have any medication and you can't go to long without it,so while asking if they could call she said no,never have the reached out to me in anyway, and I was soo sick,this isn't right at all,a whole nother day has passed still nobody has reached out

The past week I have called the pharmacy 7 different times.No one ever picks up.Talked to store manager and the reply is their busy.Really?Also who ever the person that answered the phone up front says hello.I said yes is this Walgreens.Yes it is.I said well I didnt know because when you picked up you never said hello Walgreens this is so and so how may I help you today.Very rude!!! Been going there forever. Love them. One problem, they never have one of my meds that I take monthly and I have to go to Rite Aid to get it. RA always has it. It seems like WG would notice they have at least 1 patient that gets the same script each month.

Fast, friendly service for a nationwide pharmacy chain in a small town. Easy in and out service. The only place that I'm able to find individual bottles of Simply Lemonade.Don't forget to sign up for Walgreen's rewards program to earn money off future purchases.NFC payments accepted ie Apple Pay, Android Pay, etc.Walgreen's rewards card can be scanned directly from your smartphone by the cashier.Weekly ads have great specials. You can see the next week's ad online or via app before the new sales ad appears in local newspapers on Sunday.

I just recently moved to this area. Worst Customer Service. Man was rude from the minute I walked in the store. He acted like I was bothering him to be asking for help. He won't have to worry about me bothering him anymore. I will never be back in the store. Plenty of other places to take my money.
