Anthony is the worst. His attitude towards customers is awful. He doesn't value nor appreciate customers. I love this store and the ladies who work there are so nice and caring. I hope they'll find someone to replace Anthony who can do a much better job and who is kind and caring to CHKD Thrift customers.

Called to see if I coyks get help with loading heavy donations into the store. I have a recent back injury. Gor there and no one could help. Cashier offered to give me a cart, nor helpful.

Worse store ever! The store in Franklin really had a show going on the other day! Police was involved and on site! Something about stolen property and selling them. I've never seen such a rude manager to someone who was obviously distraught and telling the truth. The way the manager responded to the situation was extremely unprofessional. She should be in jail for selling that woman's items! She was crying and balling in front of the store, trying to get that manager to not sell her dead mother's stolen items. I tried to comfort her, but I could feel her hurt from your managers actions. It was completely uncalled for. I'll pray for the manager. I hope you don't end up with a lawsuit for this, if so I feel sorry for you. The manager, she was clearly in the wrong.

CHKD thrift shop organization in Franklin VA, is in possession of stolen goods! Someone purchased my stollen goods from your store! Because the manager refused to pull them from the shelves!! That's a lawsuit!!I have a police report on the items! She knows it! She's seen photos of the goods, EVERYONE has seen them on Facebook Twitter, and soon to be YouTube! I have photos of the one of a kind items in my possession and in your stores possession after the police report was filed! After the police told her the items were stolen she continued to sell the items from your store!!! She sold half of MY stollen items to an individual who wanted them!! their went my one of a kind items that my dead mother gave me!! The sentimental value alone, you can't replace!!! I also have photos of her with the items!! And she's dead! 8 have photos of her and me with them!! There from Japan!!! How am I supposed to get another one?? Go to Japan? Ha I'm going to a lawyer tomorrow!! I'm pressing charges on your store for selling stollen items of mine!!! And I'm going to the news companies!! There's no denying the items were mine!! There 21+ year old one of a kind originals from Japan!!! Smh. And you sold them knowing there was a police report out on them!!! That's extremely illegal!Do not use any of their thrift stores!! Their immortal!! She sold items that she knew was stolen and was my dead mother's,, knowing it was from Japan and a one of a kind item! There's only 3 in the united states!!!! 3!!!! Very very unethical!

It's a nice thrift store. It's on the smaller side, but we regularly find neat things! The prices at CHKD are pretty decent for the most part! They always need donations! Check this store out!

The store is always clean and organized. I've never had a problem any employee. During a visit I noticed an iteam with an racist picture. I brought it to the employees attention and she quickly removed it from the shelf and apologized. Reading the comments of the other reviewers, I noticed that a lot of the complaints (well most) are more of a company problem then it is the individual store.

Ohmygoodness!! This was our first visit to this thrift store and we couldn't have been more pleased! The staff, especially Roxanne, treated us like old friends, helped us find everything we needed and even arranged for help to get it loaded on the truck! Thank you, Roxanne!💗💐

Dont donate! Only 1% goes to the hospital! Don't shop, they seem to sell stollen goods read other reviews! Don't bother with them, their prices are high. Ignore this place, their extremely rude in the Franklin store! Worse 2nd hand shop ever!

Employees are rude. Prices are mostly to high. I tried to purchase an item that they claimed wasn't priced correctly, the price was initially 2.98 however they repriced it to 6.98. the manager would not honor the initial price. Needless to say i didn't purchase it. Then manager smiled and said come back again! I shopped here frequently until today. My advice go to the Goodwill store in Suffolk and forget this rip off place.

First time in this location. Clothes are so unorganized. I'm not going to sit there and go through every single item just to find what fits me.The first time I attempted to go in they were closed even though google said they were open for another hour.Do not recommend

Barbra umphellt is the worst manager. She is rude to her customers and employee's also the prices are high and this in not a place for work or shopping come on a thrift shop is for bargined prices and respectful managers i rate this place as the worst place for a human to work.

I purchased something there today, and asked if someone could come to pick up later today, because it wouldn't fit in my carWhen they went to pick up, it had been sold again. I will be going to store asap when they open up In the am. They need to call the customer who they sold it too, after I paid and have my receipt it is not good business. Poor service
