If timed properly (early morning or the last hour before they close, then the checkout lines are short.Regular grocery store selection with decent produce and a large selection of international foods.You do need to be a bit cautious of expiration dates, but I've not found anything really expired here.Prices are generally better that the local grocery stores (Giant /Safeway) and no tax - but a surcharge that is basically a wash with the tax. And then you do tip the baggers.

♿️light fragrance in the bathroom- none in the main store and no staff were wearing heavy perfume. Abundant disabled parking no more than 9 feet from the entrance. They do offer a wheelchair cart for those who need it. & Lots of seating outside the front entrance and inside some of the aisles. Wide aisles for wheelchairs.Easy to find goods. No more than 1x2 blocks wide/length so it shouldn’t be too difficult to walk through if you have walking difficulties. They also offer seating inside some aisles. The signs are reliable and will tell you how to find your shopping most efficiently. I think they also offer curb pick up.🥕They have kind staff and often have lots of sales on fresh meat

The commissary itself is great! Ordered an Italian sandwich from the Deli (listed on the board) & 30 minutes later I received bread & 2 slices of salami for $8. Disappointing!

This place always has great prices on goods, especially for the area! This is my go to place for eggs and dairy, and most fresh produce because the prices per unit are cheaper than Trader Joe’s or Costco for comparison.

I travel to this commisery From Sterling, a good 45min drive. Lemme tell you, its worth it!The meat selection is mostly why I go. The produce is good the frozen selection is amazing with their pricesLots of brands to chose from and many cultural foods that I have had alot of struggles to find

Definitely recommended for those who can access the store.DECA is generally a cost saving benefit for beneficiaries.The thing is, the selection cannot keep up with outside vendors, so you save on what you buy, but they may not have everything you want.This store is nice if a bit cramped. The location is excellent, on JBMHH in the middle of Arlington county. Staff is friendly.

Good selection of groceries and household items. Items on sale along with coupons can further reduce costs. Custom ordered subs, wraps, and panini weren't cheap but were quite fresh and tasty for a handy lunch. The store seems to well-maintained and clean.

My husband and I went there for the first time and the Commissary was very organized, they had items that weren't at other Commissaries. We were very impressed! The staff was very friendly and helpful. We will definitely start shopping there!

Well, as all commissary, they always beat the prices of regular franchise supermarkets. The check out process is quick. The products have a longer shelf life than the supermarket chains. The store is always stocked to my knowledge and there is enough parking and carts for everyone. I can't complain. Even though I need to travel to shop here, it is worth the trip for the savings and quality.

Thank goodness the military service members and family still have their commissary for food shopping at discounted prices. It is a benefit that has several times been threatened for removal by certain politicians who don't appreciate the severely low military salaries that these families have to live on when stationed in high cost locations like Washington DC. Young families can find baby formula to diapers at discounted prices. Certain Healthcare products can be purchased at various locations. If a product you are looking for is not carried by your commissary there is a process at Customer Service to request a one time order or a request to start carrying the product. Aside from produce, meats, bakery departments, you will find typical other grocery items in your local commissary. Please utilize your facilities. That can help keep commissaries open for our use and future use of new service members. And thank you for your service!!

We came in and checked out at 6:30 (1 hour before closing). Cashier was not friendly. No baggers were available. Most said when we came up “I’m on break”. The others were talking to each other and just staring at us. We had to bag every single one of our own groceries. Cashier walked right by us seeing us doing this and did not help. Apparently we weren’t fast enough because after we paid, the cashier started pushing our items aside so he could start checking out the next customer. VERY displeased and disrespected by how we were treated tonight.

We went shopping for regular groceries. There was a lot of selection . The price points for most items were pretty good . How close a competitor would be Vons or Safeway. There was a seasonal flower assortment for about $8 for azaleas and $4 for baby roses.

This is one of the best. We'll stocked. Good prices. Good variety. Clean well-lit, well maintained. Friendly, helpful staff - very responsive; who tells customers about good bargains and upcoming sales events.

Bakery took our cake order and provided a beautiful, delicious cake in 24 hours. They even saved us from standing in the social distancing line for another 30 minutes since all we needed was the cake! Great customer service!!

Good sized commissary. Both the sushi and the deli are good for a quick meal on the go. Good prices on a lot of items but occasionally you may be able to find better prices on certain things such as eggs and milk, not always but sometimes. Ample parking and reasonably clean.

I used to work at the commissary and there is the manger at the night shift and this manager is named Sandra. I tested positive for Covid-19 so I informed her about it. She was totally fine with it and said to keep her updated. I had Covid-19 for 12 days. In those 12 days I showed her two pictures of my test results that were both positive. She then proceeds to ask me to send her a picture of the negative test, so I tell her that whenever the test is negative I will send you the picture right away. I never got a response back so I kept going with my days. 6 days later I finally tested negative and I texted Sandra and sent her the picture too but little did I know I was terminated. She didn't even have the nerve to tell me I was. All she told me is that she submitted a separation letter the last time she heard of me. Last I remember she didn't even answer me when I told her that I would send her the negative picture. I tried to talk to her on why I was fired but it seemed like she did not care at all and proceeded with her life. Very unprofessional and very rude of her.
