This place was recommended to me as a good lunch option.It's a cute little place with a Mom and Pop vibe.I had the club sandwich which was spot on, and hubby had their homemade chile which was both filling, and delicious.The service was great, the atmosphere was relaxed and happy, and the best part of all was the HUGE selection of Hersheys Ice Cream 🍨😋

The staff is amiable and knowledgeable about the meals they serve. The cost of the meals is reasonable and tasty. I have dined there a few times since I moved from the Washington, DC, area. They have an outstanding ice cream selection and delicious cakes.

Great lunch experience. I had the loaded baked potato special. Delicious chili on top. Had the home made pecan pie as well. Nicely prepared food in a homey friendly atmosphere. I recommend this place but check out the hours. They are not open every evening.

Great little corner cafe off close to the 501. Variety of quick sandwiches and variety of coffees and ice creams. Staff was super friendly and accommodating for the kiddos. We were passing through and pleasantly surprised at the hospitality.

Very atmospheric restaurant that's beautiful inside. Staff is very friendly and the price is decent for the quality. Ordered my food to-go and still got it fairly quick even with the restaurant almost filled. Would definitely recommend

We decided to go the other day because we had a coupon from the attractions coupon book for a buy one get one free entree. When we arrived, there was a sign on the door saying they were no longer offering the coupon because ownership changed but they would treat us to a cookie instead. Fair enough, right? So we sit down to eat, the service was okay, we felt very rushed because there was only one server. Not her fault but it still felt like we were being rushed and once we received our food, we were never checked on or given refills. We finally had to ask the cashier for our check as we needed to go and our server was all over the place. We gave our coupon to her for the cookie and immediately she said “oh no, I won’t take that, that was from the old owners” we said we knew but the sign on the door said we could at least get a cookie. She refused and said she didn’t care, then threw some peanut butter cup at us and told us that’s all she would do. My husband even took a pic of the sign and showed her and she said she didn’t care. We will not be back.

The atmosphere in this place is magical. The staff is extremely friendly and prompt. The food experience is like none other, the spices they use are on point and one that I can't seem to replicate. Not to mention the best ice cream flavors in town. If that's not enough, the patrons go just to spend time with the owner who greets everyone with a smile and friendly demeanor. Wish I could go every day!

Went after many recommendations and checked out online menu. Don’t go on weekends I would say. Especially after warning from disinterested waitress. Ordered the VT Reuben which had heard raves about and had seen picture of huge sandwich. What I got was a sandwich half the size of ones talked about and in photo. When I asked waitress for that sandwich was told different cooks on weekend and nothing she could do. Then at close of meal my friend asked for a to go cup of soda. She plopped an empty cup on our table and walked away. Thank goodness the soda dispenser was neat our table so we could fill the cup. Place was moderately busy but could tell from faces of most of staff not to ask questions.Don’t believe I will be returning.REVIEW FOLLOW UP:After receiving a response from owner questioning my authenticity and the circumstances of my visit I met with Ms Lily and we were able to talk and find out what happened that day as it was out of ordinary for the experience. After explaining what happened that day Ms Lily brought me the sandwich I thought I had ordered previously what I got was just as others had said HUGE and filling. It was amazing just as other reviewers had mentioned. I couldn’t eat dinner that evening I was so full. The Reuben is AMAZING come hungry or you’re going to take some of it home. She was kind enough to bring me a slice of homemade chocolate almond cake which when saved to next day was still amazing.

I eat here frequently! I think I have brought almost all of my friends here to share in the wonderful homey atmosphere and enjoy great food! I absolutely love the staff and owners. They are good people. Headed there for a late lunch now. I highly recommend this place.

Excellent place to eat to get away from the everyday chain restaurants and have good food at good prices. Very family friendly and if you go more than once the owner will remember you and invest in your life as well with her conversations. My children love to eat there because they get a free scoop of ice cream with the kids meals and they love to be able to go look in the ice cream display case and pick out what they want.

V&T Cafe & Grill is the best! I've been coming here since I was a little girl. Lily, the owner, decorates the place herself. They have 32 flavors of ice cream and an extensive menu! Everything from delicious salads, soup, appetizers, sandwiches, dinner items and weekly specials! Some of my favorites are the V&T burger, cheesesteak, chicken stir fry and the best chicken salad in town! They also have the best fries whether you want steak fries or sweet potato fries. 🙂 Love this place.

Absolutely love this place! Hidden gem! Very good quality food. Owner makes the deserts and they are much better than most places!!! Prices are very good. Must check this place out!
