Delicious food and cute store! The customer service sets this place above the rest. The wonderful woman working up front went to the back twice to check allergens for us. The baker came to the front with the ingredient list too. She chatted with him directly about his allergies. This made my son feel seen and understood. You’ve earned a repeat customer for sure!! Husband brought home some delicious goodies from here. The rice crispy treat was so soft and perfectly sweet.The cookies were perfectly soft in the middle and crispy on the rim. We will definitely be back!Sad they close so early.

Fantastic place with phenomenal cakes!! All of the confections and sweet treats I have eaten from Simply Vanilla are ridiculously delicious. Today, however, I was fortunate enough to eat one of their hot sandwiches. This was also really good. If you need a small treat, a full on show-stopping cake masterpiece, or a sandwich and chips, check out Simply Vanilla. You won't be disappointed!!

Went by the Forest location for some soup...Sign on the door said they were closed Feb. 19 through March 1. Went back on March 4 for soup again...they were still closed but this time there was no sign or indication of why. I was highly disappointed as they have amazing lobster bisque soup. Unless they are closed on Monday, ( again no sign indicating that)this is hurting an otherwise wonderful business.

Wow the cheesecake here is out of this world. They have a big variety and they all look wonderful. They all have soup brownies salads and cookies. The staff was very friendly. They have a nice sitting area or they can box it to go. I will be going back soon.

My husband and I had a cheesecake from Simply Vanilla for our wedding cake and it was delicious! We didn't want to have a traditional wedding cake, and we're so happy we went with Simply Vanilla. We couldn't recommend them enough!

First time at this shop and it was incredible. The workers were helpful and patient as we looked over options. I was deciding if this would be the place to purchase my birthday cake from, and it was a hit with a definite future purchase. We bought several of the 4 inch cakes to sample and all of them are delicious. You won't go wrong purchasing from Simply Vanilla Gourmet.

I really enjoy the petite cheesecakes here. My little girl and I share them! Also, the chicken salad croissant is a little pricey, but amazing. I wish they would put more oomph in their flavors though. A lot of the cheesecakes taste like vanilla cheesecakes with a hint of another flavor.

Bought a variety of the mini cheesecakes for a birthday celebration. They all were very good. Although I am a chocolate kind of gal, I think I liked the vanilla the best. We will likely get them again for the next birthday as they were a hit with everyone. The worst part was there were so many choices!

I got a cheesecake sampler that had 3 mini cheesecakes and they were all delicious!!! The cheesecake was fluffy and the crusts were amazing!!! Some of the best cheesecakes I've ever had.

GREAT selection to choose from- cheesecakes, cookies, and assorted other sweets and baked goods! If you want a dessert that’s truly beautiful and special and will impress anyone, the small cheesecakes are it!!! They wrap them up beautifully, so even the presentation is part of the overall appeal! So many flavors and each just as good as the other. You truly can’t go wrong! You can even get a sandwich here! We love this place!!!!!

Came in to pick up some treats for a company my company partners with and had a great experience! Staff was friendly and helpful making a selection that would make sure everyone had a flavor they would like. Not sure if I am happy for me or sad for my diet that they talked me into a cookie for myself. But the cookie was worth it!

Absolutely amazing cheesecakes! We have had their cheesecakes on many occasions, trying out different flavors each time.We also had several selections of the mini versions for our wedding ceremony (white chocolate raspberry and strawberry shortcake - our personal favorite). Everyone loved them!

I ordered some cheesecakes online for pick up for my fathers birthday. I cannot praise this place enough! My dad loved his cheesecakes and he is a big cheesecake fanatic! The online ordering was quick and easy, picking up the order was just as simple. The cheesecakes cakes looked beautiful and the packaging was adorable. Cheesecake was too cake-like, as I normally expect creamy, melt in your mouth texture for cheesecakes. The whipped cream tasted something awful and sour. Having tried both the key lime and the lemon, I'm definitely not trying any 3rd flavor from here. The only good food I liked was a salad... 🤔 According to the husband, the sandwich he had was not toasted nearly enough.

This place is fantastic. Their cheesecake is amazing. Whether you get the white chocolate raspberry, frosted animal cracker, or plain vanilla, you won't be disappointed. But don't get too distracted by the beautiful cheesecakes in the display! They have delicious sandwiches, salads, and soups! My favorite is the chicken salad sandwich and lobster bisque. All homemade in shop! This local bakery has all of your cravings. From salty to sweet. Don't miss out!

Very nice place, clean and crisp atmosphere. Love the whole idea. Inconsistent on keto cheesecake. We have bought 3 times. This last time very different flavor and crust consistency. I was very disappointed in the chicken salad it was very sweet almost like a mistake was made. I had asked prior to buying how it was made and since it had celery and onion I was very surprised how overly sweet it was and that sugar is added. My chicken salad does not need to taste like my dessert. Sorry but felt I needed to be honest. Will try again but will get something else.

So many options of cheesecake even for gluten or dairy free requirements! Their deli sandwiches are delicious!! We like both locations! The bakery items are almost too pretty to eat!

The customer service is top notch, the bakery made my order happen on their day off and went above and beyond to make my order possible. The cheesecakes are fresh and delicious, and they also offer vegan dessert options. Excellent place!! Highly recommend!!!

So this place absolutely wowed me and my wife!!! We bought 3 smaller cheesecakes because let’s be honest why not. I highly recommend the key lime. Also, Simply Vanilla needs to come to the Roanoke area so we can be happy!!!!

There are two locations in this area. The one in the mall is awesome! I ordered the German chocolate brownie for the first time and it was a HIT!!! Unfortunately, I went back and I learned that it's a seasonal menu item. Now my go-to is the lemon bar...delicious!!! The second location had very friendly customer service but my lemon bar was burnt, had more crust than lemon filling and was really dry. I was disappointed but the mall location has redeemed this mishap.

The best tiramisu I’ve found here in lynchburg area. The cookies are amazing too, very big and perfect amount of soft on the inside and crispy on the outside. The only thing I don’t recommend is the danishes because they aren’t filled enough in my opinion. But the desserts here are fantastic!!

Absolutely loved everything about this place! Decided to check it out because I see it on my Facebook feed all of the time... when I say I got more than I expected, I mean it. Staff is so friendly and kind! When I go to a business that’s the first thing I look for. On top of it, the cheesecakes were absolutely wonderful! Packed in a gorgeous box with an adorable ribbon. Eating here is an experience. Would 100% recommend.

I've tried many of their assorted pastries, but the cheesecakes are wonderful. I own another local bakery and anytime I get orders for cheesecakes, I always send them here. When my family and I crave cheesecake, this is where we go.
