What a lovely place that for the longest time I never knew was a place that sold anything other than plant supplies and flowers. This place is a hidden gem thats actually not hidden at all. The staff is super friendly and they provide fresh meat, produce and even sweets. This place is very rustic so don't look for free WiFi but there is so much to look at inside and out you won't need your phone to distract you. I'll be coming back for more and you should definitely stop by just see what else they in store.

Can't say enough good about this place. Fair priced feed and seed along with the best BBQ in Lynchburg hands down! No one is a stranger, employees are super helpful at answering questions about products or problems with your garden. It really isn't anywhere like George's, don't forget to pet the cat!

I love the staff here, I really do. But you should never buy your soil at George's. They show their expensive soil zero love and store it outside on pallets. My last bags were frozen completely solid and took 2 days to thaw. The much larger issue though is that, like all of the soil there, it is just loaded with fungus gnats. These were clean traps yesterday until I repotted with Coast of Maine from Aylor's.

They have a wonderful selection, a cute half tailed cat, and the most friendly/helpful staff I have encountered! I highly recommend getting animal feed from these folks. Thank you guys!!

If you've ever walked into an ole timey feed and seed store...thats the feeling that you get. Check out all of the pics I've posted. They have seed, feed, lots and lots of gardening stuff. They have ole country store stuff like cheese, eggs, peanuts, soap...etc. I can't forget about George, the cat!! I love the atmosphere and the prices are reasonable.

Love this place! I purchased a beautiful green ceramic bird bath for my mom for mother's day. I wasn't sure if she would like it or not? Once I showed it to her she fell in love with it the color and size. Thank you everyone for making my moms mothers day even more enjoyable 🙂

If they don't have it, you don't need it. And some things that you didn't know you needed- like the cream puffs- are a special surprise. Local goods, all kinds of garden gadgets, knowledge friendly staff, the best plants in the area and a nice variety of everything from herbs to fruit trees, garden veggies and flowers. If you have a question about your yard they will find you the answer. And handsome George(the official greeter) the cat.

We come here for our chicken feed and equiptment and sometimes even a delicious pulled pork sandwich. The staff is always friendly and helpful giving advice on my little backyard garden and farm. A place I enjoy doing business with!

I adore this store amazing location and wonderful product, great local business. Service is poor you always feel like you just walked uninvited to someones living room, not welcoming at all.I gave a debit card to lady at the counter for $7.15 for rabbit feed and I got "are you kidding me you don't have $7.15?? " . Then proceeded to stand there for 10mins with out anyone advising me the food was on the ramp out back. LOL I haven't been back in a while. My husband has had similar experiences.

They don't have a huge selection but if it is a necessity for your garden they likely have it in large quantities. 50 pound bags of birdseed. Kind of run down but it's popular with locals for lunch and it's very convenient for gardening.

I love Aylors - They have some good lunch options such as hamburgers and barbecue and a good chicken salad sandwich. Great place to pick seed or soil or fertilizer etc. The staff is friendly to, ask them a question and they'll always have a good answer

Came by looking for those special things that only Aylors carry and found something AMAZING! It's called a PBT. A grilled pimento cheese, bacon and tomato sandwich on ....of all things, pumpkin bread. Delicious!!!
