They really make a great product, sweet apple wines, nonalcoholic drinks, and red wine. Proprietor is super friendly and makes everything himself. Tastings are free because he knows you'll buy it!

Enjoyed VillageNot sure I'm comfortable with the "Winery" designation. They've converted a former vineyard to grow & sell fruit based ( & very good) alcoholic beverages.FACILITY: Older, comfortable. We sat outside at picnic table under a large old tree.SERVICE: We enjoyed & appreciated our time talking with the owner.PRODUCTS: Alcoholic fruit based beverages were very good. The ability to sweeten it to taste is terrific.RECOMMENDED? Yes, just understand this is not a "winery"

This was our last stop on a mini wine tour we were doing with friends over the 4th of July. We were picking places at random after discovering some of the wineries in the Waterford region did not allow children (we had two four year olds with us). Even though this place wasn't a "winery-winery" we had SO MUCH FUN! Our kiddos got to do a juice tasting, which we all loved, adults included, and Kent (the owner, I believe) was so friendly. We tried everything and went home with almost everything we tried. Highly recommended!

Was greeted by the owner. He was very friendly and informative. They no longer sell wine, however, they have an apple cider that he adds elderberry and honey berry syrup to. Very unique. Quite spot under the tree made for a lovely lunch.

Cute little tasting room and a couple of resident cuddly cats! The wines were good, and although they tasted a bit young, they have a lot of promise. Love the environmentally responsible wine boxes vs. glass and the proprietor is super friendly.

Admittedly, they weren't selling many wines. But the gentleman at the counter went all in on fruit: syrup, juice, vinaigrette, cider, etc. This was an unexpectedly pleasant tasting with more focus on nutrition than one would expect from a "winery". Overall reasonable prices. Ended up with a honeyberry syrup and vinaigrette

This is not your typical winery. Sure there are some normal red wines, but it is all about the fruit wines and elderberry syrup and vinaigrette. We enjoy going there just to get away from the crowds of places like Stone Tower. The owner truly enjoys what he does and loves talking to everyone that comes in. My personal favorite thing there is the tabby barn cat that is missing half his tail.

OMG! We went to several vineyards and found nothing we liked. The last vineyard recommended Village. We were a bit skeptical at first since the wine is in pouches. We get there, and IT'S THE BEST WINE I HAVE HAD!!!! I like fruit and sweet wines. And the elderberry syrup!!!! The gentleman who poured for us was such a great guy! Polite, friendly and just great customer service. I am definitely a permenant customer and will be back. Oh, did I mention each pouch is equivalent to 4 bottles (750 ml)!!!!!

Went to try their wine with a party of 3. The proprietor was waiting on another couple. We waited over 10 minutes and he never acknowledged that we were there. I understand he was busy but a simple hello or I will be with you in a moment was expected. We left and won't be back. To many other wineries, to visit to be ignored at this place. He didn't even look at us.

I have been to most of the Loudoun County wineries and this is one of the most memorable. The proprietor is the one serving the wine and his passion and enthusiasm are infectious. Also, rather than selling bottles of wine, they sell boxes (and soon, pouches) of wine which hold more and cost less than bottles. Along with wine, they also have an Elderberry tea which can easily be mixed with the wine to make a great spritzer. The setting is inside an old barn, so it's a bit rustic and I really enjoyed interacting one-on-one with the owner/wine maker/mixologist.

Absolutely love Village Winery! Kent is so kind, knowledgable, and generous. He understands fruit wine and makes delicious apple-based wines. He furthers his product with non-alcoholic teas, syrups, and vinaigrettes. I always take friends by Village when they come to visit.

We went out to about 6 or so wineries over the weekend. The Village was by far the best! The wine tasted great and is sold in 3-liter bags. They also sell a vingerette dressing which is amazing. Must stop on a wine tour!

Have been getting my wine here for years, but this past Oct I purchased 6 boxes of apple wine - all were bad - boxes expanding - wine tasted like bad apple cider - very yeasty. Was promised a refund - that was over 1 month ago. Luckily I disputed 4 of the purchases charged, but the other two were a cash purchase. No return calls from them. NOT GOOD BUSINESS ETHICS!

Awesome winery!!! Not only is the owner super friendly, but the environment is perfect for families and the prices are amazing. Do your self a favor and skip the crowded wineries and give this a try.

Found this cute little winery Sunday while out for a drive... very friendly, and all the wines were very tasty.. Ended up buying 3 boxes 2 reds and 1 white, I do not normally drink reds but I found these very nice and light, not heavy.. I will be back to visit and buy more for the summer months... Great winery a must to visit!

The elderberry green tea is the absolute best antioxidant tea on the planet. It has been over a year since I've started drinking it, and I haven't been sick the entire time.
