My Yorkie was not groomed properly after I waited 3 hours. When I entered the shop at 3:55pm for his 4:00 appointment. The groomer named Nicole agreed to provide the service for Happy. I pointed out to the groomer that my dog was 14 years, his back legs were not strong, and they sometimes separated, and there were some moles in various stomach, ear and back, and he is jumping when touched, and somewhat fragile because of his age. I came back to the store after 1 hour. I saw that Nicole was working on another dog. I just assumed that Happy must be waiting!! I came back and sat down and I looked in the window. I saw someone glanced at me but said nothing. I chose to give them some time because it seemed busy!! I walked around the store and came back an hour later!! This time I thought surely he was professionally groomed to my expectations! But, Nicole said my dog would not stand properly for his hair cut but they could only do the shampoo and blow dry. She indicated that they called me several times. But I only received a call at 6:20pm. I was throughly disappointed! Today was the only scheduled time that fit my schedule! They wanted to charge me $37.00 dollars and suggested to go to a private salon. What a dejection after all, I observed outstanding hair cuts on dogs and their owners walking out pleasantly happy!! I said no! I refused to pay $37.00 for something they could not do professionally for my dog! When I mentioned a review she said okay, you will not have to pay!!! I thought all groomers are taught to handle any type of dog. Even if there is an leg disorder with the owners dog! Plus she did not disclose a policy on safety for my dog when I disclosed my dogs ailments upon entering the store!! Poor management and customer service!!

We take our two dogs, a cattle dog and a pit bull, to the Stafford Petsmart to get groomed. They have always done a phenomenal job with my dogs. I’d like to give a special shoutout to Raven who groomed our dogs today. My dogs are anxious and Raven went above and beyond to make sure they were comfortable. She called me and gave me updates and even suggested that we bring our anxious pit back tomorrow when the grooming department is not as busy and there are less stressors for my dog. I really appreciated her looking out for the best interest of my dog.

The employees of this store are personable, professional, patient and attentive. Today, I witnessed a high-energy pit bull puppy break out of his harness and attempt to escape the store. The owner shouted, « Close the door! ». Without hesitation the employees shut the door before the puppy could reach it, helped the owner secure him and helped her find a larger, stronger harness that he could not break out of. Will never go here again to get my labradoodle groomed. Crew, the name of the groomer I was assigned to, asked me initial questions of what I wanted and after speaking with him for about 2-3 minutes, I believed we both understood my expectations: a trim, not a shave, and leave him poofy. My dog was shaved down, his head was trimmed choppy (one side of his head is longer than the other), and his tail was left looking like a used dust brush. I did receive a full refund, which is why i give them 2 stars. The manager said in the groomers notes my dog was matted so they had to shave him. I should have been called prior to Crew making the decision to shave my dog. Had I known own he was too matted for a trim, I would have went to a private groomer who was willing to dematte him (despite opting to pay extra for PetSmart to dematte my dog when I booked the appointment online). I would have also stopped the services completely and dematted him myself back home. Never again. Now I see why they have appointments available as early as the next day. Maybe Crew is not experienced with doodles and their hair type. Again, do not recommend.

I like this location . Grooming team is great. They also have a small "Doggie Park" out front for your 4 legged child to go potty and sniff out all the other dogs before ! Lol

Very disappointed with this Petsmart. I stopped in to get my pups some treats and they were doing an adoption event today - yay we love dogs! The problem is they had a very aggressive dog in the store up for adoption, growling and snarling and was held off to the side on a leash. Everyone in the store anxiously kept looking at this aggressive dog. Sure enough, another dog walks past on a leash and gets attacked - taken by the neck by the dog, snarled and thrown around, it takes 3 people to get involved to save the dog and the store employees yell “Shut the doors” and lock us all in the store. Shame on them for allowing an aggressive dog in the store around other pets and humans. I will NOT be back to this location and likely will start going to Petco. Not sure which adoption agency this was but their license should be revoked for such poor judgement.

I have mixed feelings about this place.They are good about education before a purchase. They have a wide variety of products and pet paraphernalia, which is handy.I don't like that they won't let you buy anything there without some kind of proof that you have a set up ready for the pet.And I didn't like one of the woke posters around the store.

We do the training there and decided why not the grooming as well. Terrible decision, I didn't notice till the next day but she had a dirty smell odor that we taught would have been taken care of after the bath , but wasn't . Breath was taken care of by what we have at home . My gig is big but she is gentle so I don't know what happened but now searching for an actual dog loving grooming person for her .

Typical pet chain store. The upkeep needs address a bit, A LOT of cleaning needs to be addressed (very dirty). Banfield employees are pretty unprofessional... but what'd you expect.

I’m very disappointed. I’ve been taking both my dogs here for grooming for over 3 years now and this is the worst cut my Snowie has ever had. I’m not sure if it Tim was just having a bad day but she has track lines and her fur is very uneven. :-( :-(

I take my Pit Bull, Brinx, to get groomed here every 2 weeks (bath + furminator, which works wonders btw, and nail grind once a month). The staff is so great and they always say how much they love Brinx and how good he is while getting groomed. It's a little pricey with the add-ons, but it's worth it and they're cheaper than other places and .

This store is always clean and the employees are friendly. We come here often to use the pet scale to weigh our dog. Our dog has also taken an obedience class here. The class was a great opportunity for socialization and the trainer Sarra was knowledgeable and patient with the dogs. Love this place!

Petsmart I feel is a great place to go. More times than not you will have great customer service and knowledge staff. However, I have noticed in my many years of visiting the various stores in my area that the Petsmart on Garrisonville Road (610) always has numerous dead fish. Most of these fish are not inly dead, but they are molding in the water as well contaminating the whole tank. I have stopped purchasing fish at this location and go to the location on route 17 in Fredericksburg. For this reason, I give the 610 store 3 stars.

This PetSmart is the best by a long shot, I have been to so many in the past years, Florida, DC, Colorado, and a few more in our area in Virginia but the training from Paige has been immaculate and the grooming team was just amazing, my dog is very excited all the time and I can not thank the staff enough for being so patient with Evie and I. The cashiers are always in a good mood and I never feel rushed. Very helpful staff has made this place a dream for Evie to visit, I think she might even prefer it over duff green dog park. Thank y'all so much for having a strong team behind this business you have no idea how much y'all stand out to the world.

Front door was locked before closing time and the cashier looked bother that she had to let me in, there was no one else anywhere in the store to even ask a question. When I was checking out instead of the cashier bagging my purchase u had to ask for a bag. Bad customer service.

I really like the associates at this pet smart and for the most part the stores quite clean and well stocked. My floor loves his Halloween cave.
