Absolutely wonderful visit. The butter, fruit pies & milk were very tasty. The owners/workers were very pleasant and helpful. The cows were adorable, you can visit them and pet them. The babies were the absolute cutest little calfs.❤️We went on the motorcycle and the roads were paved with packed gravel parking lot. If you go around 2:45 you can feed the babies and then watch the milking.

You can tell the owners truly care about what they do and enjoy getting to share it with people interested in it. Stop at the shop and get some fresh creamery products and visit with the cows.

The people here were pretty rude.. if you ask questions, you may not actually get an answer. The woman I was speaking to asked me a question, then walked away mid answer. Otherwise, the store is very neat and I love the collection of cow stuff. :)

We love coming here. My daughter says the cows are her cows and loves to go visit them often. The milk from here is the only milk she will drink. The people who work here are super nice and friendly.

This creamery offers a fascinating, close-up look at their cows and milking parlor. The farmers graciously answered our many questions and helped my 2- and 4-year-old feed a calf. Be sure to try some of the ice cream made on-site.

Best milk ever. Its got cream in the whole milk you need to shake it before you pour. The chocolate milk is beyond amazing. I travel more than 100 miles to visit the area and always stop in to get milk.

We only buy milk from the creamery. It is so delicious and so much better than grocery store milk. Their little store has other local farm products and some Mt. Crawford Creamery merch.

We love the milk and ice cream mix from here however, the customer service in the store is very poor. I called prior to visiting the store to check on ice cream mix, the lady wasn't friendly on the phone but then a gentleman spoke up and he was very kind and told me they had mixed I just needed to come in and ask for it. At the store we asked for the mix and the lady was very rude, stating that we needed to call ahead in the week and can't we read the sign that they have posted. We explained that we did call today and she responded with oh, well there's one more on the shelf. During check out when purchasing the ice cream mix and some milk she again made another comment about how much the ice cream mix could've been sold for today. I understand that it's most likely been a busy weekend given the holiday however, there is no reason to be rude to customers. It will unfortunately be a while before we return to the store.

Nice friendly staff. Varied goods/products which are of quality. Excellent eggs and diary. I love their milk. They are a working diary with a few cows the kids can bet. I can't wait to try their butter.

First time calling there to see what type of cream and milk they sold. Grew up on a dairy farm sooo im not stupid. But was made feel that way. The woman you speak to is rude as hell. Never bought from there before and i wont be buying from there!!!! Called back and left a msg with my phone number and name. And i hope i get a call back from a manager. I see other reviews on there rudness as well. So it must not be anything done about it.

I have been buying their product for quite some time and love the product, but will not be buying from them again . A sales person at the creamery was very rude and actually obnoxious to me when I came in to buy some product. I know sometimes people have bad days , but this was uncalled for. I have expressed this to my friends and family who buy their product and they are themselves refraining from buying their product again. All good things must come to an end , just sad that a person working there caused the ending.

Their ice cream is SO GOOD! A friend who lives locally to the creamery turned us on to it. They pay respect to first responders which is huge in my eyes! Their ice cream and sorbets are all homemade and delicious!! If you are on 81 in Virginia, definitely pull off for some ice cream! They are not far from the exit and it’s so worth it!!

Oh. My. God. This ice-cream is soooo good! I'm a coniseur when it comes to frozen dairy of any kind and this place is worth a 30 minute drive for me. It doesn't get any fresher than this! They keep classic flavors up and rotate signature choices. The blueberry cheesecake was the best blueberry cheesecake ice-cream I've ever had anywhere. The staff is so friendly and the location is so cool. Plus, they use wooden tasting spoons so they don't waste plastics! *Swoon*

We get their Milk at The Cheese Shop and it is wonderful with a small amount of cream at the top. It also has a creamer consistentency and doest have that acidity taste. Pure smooth. Love it!

They have the best homemade butter,and white and delicious chocolate milk. The old fashioned kind you have shake before using. Oh it brings back memories and is so good.we have a time share at the Pines in Basye and stop going up and back twice a year at the beginning and end of each week.

Quaint little dairy on the outskirts of town. There’s a store in the front with milk, cheese & meats available as well as local jams, jellies, & souvenirs. Very informative staff. You can walk around and see the calves being fed or the cows being milked in real time. The farmer was very friendly and informative on the whole process of milk: from the cow to the glass, the tour was very thorough.

Fresh local dairy products are awesome. Commercial brands are simply not in the same league. If I buy commercial, my kids want to know why I didn't get the "good milk".

Ya know I'm just going to say I really love their product. Chocolate milk and whole milk have such a good flavor. It's worth the trip out or look for their milk at Red Front Grocery.Don't forget to shake before you pour!

Great place, great products, friendly people, but sub-par wheelchair access. There's a lot of course gravel outside that's difficult to push through. I couldn't independently get into the ice cream building because of it.

Very friendly staff and really interesting to visit the milking parlor and see/learn about the process up close. Loved visiting and petting the baby and teenage calves. Delicious milk! Worth the drive.
