This Lowe's has the most amazing people. They are kind, do their best to help customers, and care about the experience. The managers here genuinely do their best to take care of customers and associates, and they succeed. Moving away means I can't visit this store anymore, but I will miss it. It really is a gem.

Chances are very high if you need it they have it.. and it will be fairly priced... not cheap, but fair & with a 10% veterans discount... often hard to beat even with Amazon! But my favorite thing about this Lowe's are the wonderfully helpful & polite youngsters they hire AND the knowledgeable "oldsters" ... retired plumbers, electricians...

I worked for Lowe's Home Improvement in Tempe, Arizona as far I'm concerned working for them as great pleasure for 2 yrs but that a shame in Radford, Virginia of Lowe's Home Improvement isn't doing well ❤️‍ it's need to step up more working staffs !!!!! Please need it Improvement to grow Lowe's Center !!!

This specific Lowes has always been wonderful! I’ve placed a few pickup orders and they have always been perfect. I’d like to highlight two specific employees. Raina was a huge help today in finding a specific item. She said, “no one comes in until 8, but I would be glad to help you.” Also, Maddie at the front was very kind. Great job!

My wife and I ordered a refrigerator and set it to be delivered on the 23rd. We were told we’d get an email the night before, and a phone call the morning of to get a time window. We became skeptical when no email came the night before, so I went by the store the morning of the 23rd. The young lady at the customer service desk told me that we were slated for delivery on the 31st! No communication whatsoever of this. I don’t know what went wrong or where (I requested an explanation and did get a call later on stating that the salesperson did the right thing but something happened at the warehouse…I don’t really know what to make of that), but this is the second instance of something like this happening to us. I will say that the people in the store are always very nice and seem to be helpful, but I feel like the store and the warehouse/delivery side are two completely separate entities that don’t talk to each other. So not only am I going to have to rework my schedule AGAIN to be at home for delivery, we are stuck without a refrigerator for over a week. What made the salesperson pick the 23rd and tell us it was all good? Why did that change? Why were we not informed of the change (the 31st was NEVER even discussed)? Why is there such a long time in between the original delivery date and the new one? It’s very frustrating.

Kayla was amazing! She helped me in the lawn and garden area by ordering a fork lift after she checked all the stock for the pavers I was there to purchase. I cannot say enough about her customer service!!

Was shopping for some rather large projects & told we had to “evacuate” the isle so the fork lift could move freely. The entire area was empty of customers, we explained we were shopping and then was told we were in violation of safety protocols & had to move. On a positive note, Kelly & Brent from plumbing are amazing. Unfortunately the people working in gardening lost the sale. We didn’t purchase anything due to being told to abandon gardening & our cart. One bad apple scenario. They had blond hair & was working 7:30(ish) 9.16.23

I love that we have a Lowe's close by and though I give them 3 stars--it is not because something went really wrong.We needed a replacement belt for our vaccum. After being transferred a couple times, we were told that Lowe's in Fairlawn no longer carried Eureka belts. Ok, thank you.By this point, we had called most surrounding big chain stores with no results. I looked online for an alternative. I found one. It was Eureka U. Guess who had one? Yes, Lowe's. So, they DO carry Eureka belts. We called with the isle number etc. We did get a different CSR. It was suggested that we just go on line, pay for it, and do a "pick up".Online shopping was super simple and took moments.I went to Lowe's soon after. They have a few spots up front, near the entrance for pick up. You don't have someone come out to you like at Kroger etc. Instead... You walk inside and find CSR desk.It was a very quick trip, especially on a busy Christmas shopping day!

One of the more decent Lowe's locations I've been to. Staff is genuinely friendly (not a saccharin filled façade) but not overly so, relatively knowledgeable, and kind. Selection is decent, pricing is often lower here than it's Christiansburg neighbor. Even when you account for gas mileage etc.

Building a cabin and only needed 9 cabinets. Using the Diamond Now selection. These are their so-called stock cabinets. They only had 4 of the ones I needed in stock. Needed some electrical wire to finish wiring. That section of the store was a joke as well. Also had trouble with tile and flooring. The tile was discontinued and the laminate I need was not in stock in 10 stores. It was sitting in 3 different distribution centers. Their replenishment system is a joke as well. What is upper management doing? Just drawing a check and a big fat bonus!? Just another part of the dysfunctional country we live in where no one is held accountable for their actions or the lack !!!

The store is poorly managed at this time .The employees are out of there area doing other job's because they don't have enough workers. Also lack of training is a major issue how does lowes expect there employees to be able to do the correct job without the proper training. I have done business at this store since the day they opened because I do contractor work for myself and go there daily. It's very frustrating

Had to pick up some supplys to fix a family owned home. Owners live out of state and had to pay by phone. I Thought it would b a pain but lowes took it in stride and made it a quick easy experience. My tim3 is valuable to me and this was much appreciated!

Staff isn't very helpful. They always seem to have better things to do than to help customers. Music in the store is way to loud to the point of being obnoxious. They have everything but not always easy to find it.

You can spend a lot of time walking and thinking of all the projects you can do around the house. Great place for DIYers. I go through periods where I visit the store 8 to 10 times a month. I have also started using buy online and pick up in the store. 2022 update-still my go to store. Always helpful people there. 2023 update-try using the app to help find the locations and prices.

I am very disappointed in the Lowes and their return policy! I hope they will see this and change it. After 90 days, you are stuck with the merchandise. They will not even give you a site credit with a receipt. This is ridiculous! Lowes- you are loosing customers! I was always loyal to Lowes. Not anymore! There should be no reason that if I provide you a receipt, that you would let me return the merchandise and get a store credit if it is new, in its package, with my receipt.

By far the worst Lowes I have ever shopped at every thing is always out of stock at this store, the kids they hire are not knowable about the products they sale and do not have the slightest understanding of basic electrical and plumbing items.getting help in here is near impossible if you need help loading something forget it. This is often the closets Lowes yo where I’m working I usually have to drive an additional 30 to 45 minutes after I have went to this store and they did not have what I needed if your a contractor stick with the supply houses like RE Michaels, State electric , Gray-bar electrical supply, and Ferguson’s etc… better prices and professionals behind the counter, no high school and college kids who don’t have a clue about the trades.

Ordered an oven and a fridge for apartments the company that delivered them sent two men that could not speak a lick of English to deliver them. So communication was literally nonexistent! The doors on the fridge opened the wrong way so had to do that myself. They didn’t bring the cord I purchased for the oven, had to go get that and attach myself. Said something to the cashier at the front and she said not our fault, that’s the delivery companies fault…nice way to shed all responsibility. Have a delivery and installation of a dishwasher Tuesday that unfortunately already paid for and I am done with Lowe’s!

Customer service could've been better. Contractors need to get their supplies quickly to be able to get back to the jobsite. Not have a 20 minute wait to have a piece of carpeting cut and be told by 3 different employees that's not their department and leave you searching for someone to help.
