This is the place you dream of always finding but rarely do. Much more than a mere retail establishment, here lives community, local music and faith. Spending time with owner Judy Bowman and seeing the music stage, store and property through her eyes is to witness a dream come alive that has its own center of gravity that helps others stay connected to the past, to shared culture and most importantly to each other. Leaving with some local honey and family made Virginia jelly sealed the deal on a great visit. Thank you Judy!

This was my first visit here and I absolutely loved it! The associates were very friendly and helpful. They had a plethora of items, including candies, garden supplies, jewelry and bath products! They have a small stage inside where they host live music. I also love you can grab a bite to eat in their little cafe! Great store, and I will definitely be back!

We moved here back in October and I have to say these are the nicest people. They are being absolutely wonderful with COVID protocols (some other places in the area are iffy with this) and they are extremely friendly and helpful. The food is good, too. I am very happy to support this business and continue to do so.

Such a wonderful place to shop or grab lunch! Friendly people, unique items, and amazing day lillies! The ones I bought last year are up and growing, ready to show their colors. There is a stage inside and one outside for local music and they have cruise ins with classic cars and sometime great antique tractors.This place is a jewel just minutes away from downtown Floyd!

What a charming place to shop. I was very pleased with the friendliness of the staff, they were very nice.Everything you would come to expect from a local country store. Can’t wait to go back when all the flowers are in bloom.I was also very pleased to go into a store that was so health conscious for its visitors in doing their part to protect everyone from this nasty Covid.

First time there and must say it was great. Employees were very friendly and lots of nice stuff to look at and buy. We did take the time to eat and the food was really good and look forward to going back. Thanks to all the employees for being so friendly.

Great place to stop by and stretch legs, get an ice cream, listen to music,chit chat, and just sit a spell. They have everything from canned jams to garden statuary, to farming supplies to handmade furniture and lotions and potions for healing the body/ mind connection. Everything to please the man,the children, and the women. Can be a bit pricey on higher end items but worth saving up to get. They even provide musical entertainment Saturday nights. Call to see what they have going on. Friendly staff and knowledgable. Always willing to bend over backwards to please. Never been in and not found something to fit my needs. Get there and enjoy!!!!

Checked their facebook page to see an event for Bluegrass live in the parking lot (Covid guidelines followed and social distancing friendly). Great place to spend a couple bucks for a quick bite to eat. If you're visiting the area too the general store has a wide selection.

Bought the most spinniest wind spinner here today...and, it's shameful that the best CAROLINA BURGER I've ever eaten was bought in Virginia. The Carolina burger here is the best I've ever had with sweet coleslaw that tastes just like what i make at home. Stop. Look around. There is a sandbox wagon in front with the most wonderful tin furniture fairy garden toys. Love this little store!

The cutest little general store around floyd. They have tons of jelly and jams. Beans and a lot of beautiful out door decor. They also have a bit of locally made jewelry that's all beautiful and everything that comes out of the kitchen is to die for
