Great prices on meats. They have the hook up on Faygo soda, Homestead creamery with orange dream too.. Also they carry Damson plum Jelly 🙂 Good people with nice manners. Offers paper bags or both paper and plastic. Will bring groceries out to car and help load them. Nice store.

1 star because i dont know how 2 rate a half one, just left deli,,,chicken casserole askes about 2 meatloaf dinners i ordered 1130 thur morning delivered to purnd no role asked for a chicken casserole dinner for him ay 140 this afternoon no roles, put a (generous guess by me of 2 oz serving of cass in tray i asked whats that ha You Eat It walked away got him a 129 cent can of stew off shelf at lesst he'llget 6 iz to eatple heart wheelchair bound vet he opened 1 no role , opened 2

They have a fantastic selection here and stand by their plants. It can be tough to find a small outfit that does that. Our last round of 3 cherry trees and several dogwoods are all starting to bloom. It’s my favorite part of our view.

I really really wanted to like this place but I can't. Slaughters market is wonderful but their garden center is a joke. I needed pine bark nuggets not too long ago and called and was quoted 4.99 for 3cuft bags. My husband and I drive 20 minutes in the truck to go pick them up and when we get there not only are the bags 2cuft, but they are more expensive then the price I was given over the phone. It's been about a month since that happened and I decided to give them another try. I called and asked if they have rhubarb for sale. After a bit of a hold I am told yes, 5.99 a plant. So again I drive 20 minutes to the garden center. The man working in the greenhouse shows me where the rhubarb is and tells me is isn't a true rhubarb, (it was actually Swiss chard) that it is ornamental, which is not what I wanted. It seems the ladies answering the phones don't know what they sell, or what the accurate prices are. Staff is friendly enough, but not a very reliable place for plants or gardening supplies. I will not be going back as this is a waste of time and gas.

This is a long time locally owned business. I bring my kids here every single year to pick out new Christmas ornaments. They always have fresh, free spice cider to sip on while you shop. However, I was a bit disappointed in their nursery this summer. Not a large variety of plants and flowers and what was there looked like they could definitely use a good watering and maybe fertilizer. They were quite wilted. I'm still going to be going back this winter. Hopefully next summer they will have a better looking nursery.

Purchased some very nice fruit trees here. They also had a good selection of early garden plants such as greens and broccoli. They have a lot of very nice native tree species such as redbud, persimmon, maple, chestnut oak, etc. Carry big bags of potting soil, composted manure, fertilizer, peat, etc. I will return in a few weeks to see what other perennials they have for planting this spring.

Always a good experience. Bought five trees today. Home depot had them at 49.95 and a smaller rootball. Slaughter had them 3 gallon at 42.00. Love this place.

I always return to Slaughter's for spring and summer flowers. Plants are hardy and the organization of shrubs, perennials, annuals, trees, along with specials and sale items make it easy to find just the right bloom or greenery. Staff always lends a hand without my asking and very knowledgeable about their products.

The BEST place to get seedlings...they have TONS of varieties of vegetables and flowers and they sell them.in 4 packs for under $2 unlike any of the bog box stores. A++++

July 16, one 2019. No one available to assist. Most of the stock not labeled to identify type and colors. Much of the stock in distress from lack of water. Many branches of most of the stock not trimmed of dead foliage and/or branches themselves. Want top dollar for 2nd grade plants.
