Customer service is great. Witnessed a woman who didnt have any money still get the things for the baby of hers. Reasoning unknown but care was showed this lady and I purchased what she had already returned and the lady behind me got the rest that was in the buggy. Wish there would be more of this in the world today

Store was packed with items to be put on shelves, things were in front of stocked shelves that you had to move to get to what you wanted, or move the fully stocked items on wheels to get what you wanted. I have a bad back and moved those things by myself to get to items that I needed. Very disappointed

When you shop at this store you need to check the use by date on everything you buy. I have found things that have been three months past the sell-by date at this store. Definitely check the use by date on all food items. When you shop at this store you definitely have to remember the saying " buyer beware ".

I was in town visiting family and stopped here for water. This store is a mess!! You couldn't get down in aisle. The guy that checked me out looked like he just stepped out of a meth house! Absolutely disgusting!!!

Be cautious when going in here!! I went In and purchased $21 of item on EBT.. And then was told my balance was $20 cash???? I ask this manager what was the cash for? He replies u must not have enough balance on ur card... I look at the total and it's $41 for 2 loafs bread, 2bags of chips, 1 gallon of milk, and 18 pack of drinks... That wasn't right for the items I had ... He says it f u want them u gotta pay up!!! After putting up with his sarcasm I started getting ill, n then he realized he had a barcode hanging up next to his scanner that it scanned somehow before doing my purchase..... Was he trying to get me for $20 cause it just seemed very strange that the barcode just so happened to double exactly my amount... And he was very adamant about me paying... Watch yourself!!!!!

My experience was not so great..i came from out of town into this store didnt have a very good welcome .all of my items werent in my bag and i got overcharged for another item.i called the store trying to resolve the issue and they told me i had to wait 30 mins to get the item that they failed to put in my bag very inconvenient for me as i said i came from out of town and was not planning to stay in feildale thst long

Good deals and close to home i really have come to love my Dollar General Store. Its close to home have great prices. And i love the 1 dollar aisle

Boooooo...especially on prices! Also quality is low, selection is always poor on the few mostly random junk that is available. Meds and personal/hair care are decent with decent pricing and selection
