Hope you like self checkout because the workers dont acknowledge customers and just carry on with their conversations amongst each other. You can barely navigate the store for all the boxes and stuff in the isles.

Wouldn't buy any cold/frozen food from here.Bought lunchables & hot pockets. Both had mold. Store manager proceeded to blame us for not refrigerating the products when we live less than a minute away. Zero professionalism in nearly all of the managers, especially the store manager. If you want the truth ask the regular employees. Reported to Virginia Department of Agriculture with a pending response. Next is corporate 😉

I love the people who work here they are helpful and very friendly ! I however have to look at any of the clothes in the store because they are so tightly hung that you can see anything in there without something always falling in the floor or having to pull other stuff out to view any of them !! Very aggravating to try to shop with it that way !! Wished the store had the variety of clothes that the others do in them . All in all I shop there usually 5 days out of the week .

Very organized and well stocked! However, the staff is not very friendly and they are almost always in the back of the store somewhere stocking instead of at the register.They need 2 registers open at all times during the day shift and also need to hire a stocker to help with stocking shelves, organizing, and maintaining the other things that need tending to.

It has been hard to get checked out here for years. Just went there and 4 people waiting to get checked out and both workers were sitting outside smoking.

The employees are friendly, and it's very convenient to my home. The prices are ok, although you can go into the Dollar General store in Rocky Mount and get some things cheaper. Other then that I like this store. Sometimes the isles are a bit cluttered, but they try to get merchandise put up quickly.

Store is a mess can't get down the iles and the manager stands outside the front door smoking so that all that enters have to walk through her cigarette smoke. Why there not to walk to the end of building is bad for all that enter. I suggest going miles to a different dollar general or if you enter here it will not be good.

I wouldn't give it even 1 star if it would let me continue. This store went from the best dollar general I've been to the worst. Shelves not stocked and not because they don't have it because they have not stocked it it's in racks to be stocked their every where. I counted adou930 to 40 can't get around. They need to fire everyone and start over.

The dollar general in ferrum va is terrible. The employees either don't do anything or don't care to do anything or the store is short handed but the ones working are not doing anything either. You can find anything on the shelves. They are empty and the aisles are stacked with boxes of merchandise that need to be put away. They never get put away they never fill the shelves they are always out of what you need. The floors are a mess things are out of place.it's not a good look and its not a good experience to go through for customers. I've been very dissatisfied every time for the last 3 months. Not good.

Very easy to see from 220 and easy parking. Friendly and have variety of thing's you could need from food too bathroom supplies car oil pet needs electronics.Cold drinks chips phones are available magazines shopping baskets as well as carts.Good store and great discount prices

Wish it was the knew updated store with more stuff, food specially! But always friendly people working there. Not the best quality brands but affordable and convenient when u dont want to go all the way to town.

This store has gone down hill alot since old manager quit. I saw someone post 6 days ago shelves are stocked. That is BS I work 1 min from store and shelves are never stocked and the carts the stuff comes in are everywhere. It is an awful mess. Has been for at least 4 months now.

Not much in stock. Hard to find what you are looking for. Aisles are cluttered and hard to move threw. Handicap accessible and bathrooms are in use. Keys are by the door which was nice. Customer service was ok.

OK, COVID-19 issues or not SOMEONE needs to fix this problem store. It is filthy, merchadise is a mess, shelvrs are a mess, storage containers stacked, manager claims she asks staff to clean and stock and they don't do it. That is NOT managing! Fire thes slobs and start over! I only go there if absolutely necessary, which thankfully is rare. Embarrassing.

Couldn't even have a Google Map that could find me. System being hacked and have notifications hitting me even now. Wires found running up my hill and property. Real mess and nothing authorities would do even when catching WiFi direct signal doing it for 2 days. Cannot make call, texts go through illegal 3rd party and I am lucky to get reply or even have it recorded in spite of delivery report.Cant watch a movie and TV broken.Can`t Listen Now and paid for it.Even when canceled my hackers just used my card with Federal as income to purchase again and hack my system with Google developer feed that just puts me in a jail. Do nothing now and Tor project is done.Not giving it up to thieves.

The junkest store I have ever been in. If y'all don't do something to get stock put up y'all are going to have a law suit when someone calls. I use to be the best Dollar general around. After Regina Dalton left it went to HELL !!!

A great little store, usually close to most people's neighborhoods. lots of items to choose from at a very reasonable price. A quick stop and you're on your way home.

Was a good experience until we tried to get rang up bye a cashier that was so high she dident know where she was. Im almost positive her name was charley also. I told her I would pray for her and told me to shove my prayers up my a** she went on to tell me how people like me make her sick of life. Afterwards she ran off to the back throwing up the whole way back there. No I can say if thats the best help they can hire then I'll stop else where. How she holds her job is a mystery to me

Lately the majority if the employees have been inattentive to the customers. Today I was walking around looking for something and the 2 employees I did see were too engrossed in gossiping about another coworker than helping a customer. I told the female worker what i thought and she got a snotty attitude and told me I should have asked. This after she plopped down and blocked the aisle I was walking down.

I really like DG & would have given 5 stars if they had a larger variety of stuff you need but get their DG app & you can save even more money & I really like the sales they have like right now you can get 3 boxes of honey bunches of oats for only $6, three 12pks of Dr. Pepper $10. 2 strawberry smuckers squeeze bottles for just $5. I shop there alot

This is the place to go if you are a Ferrum student. It is like the general store in frontier town, it has most everything you can need. Snacks, food, drinks, school supplies, so on and so forth.
