The staff here is amazing! And both my dogs love it here. All I ever have to say is “want to go see Brittany (the manager) or Dani (the owner)” and craziness ensues. They are loving and caring. I never hesitate to bring my fur babies in for daycare

They don’t accept pets that aren’t housebroken and that’s understandable. It would take up their time having to clean. In the pamphlet they said that they would give you resources for finding a kennel that would accept your pets. Which I asked for when I emailed them, in total honesty…and crickets. We had been corresponding prior to this. I could have been dishonest just so my little guy could be accepted but I wasn’t. I tell you this generation lacks common courtesy and professionalism. Thankfully I found someone who has accepted my little guy. ☺️

We have a 3 year old miniature pinscher that generally goes with us whenever we travel. We never had a need to board her before last weekend, when we had a planning hiccup and needed to find somewhere for her ASAP! Luckily we found Three Oaks. The staff were super helpful and answered all my questions confidently and were a great help setting my mind at ease when trying to figure out if it was a good fit for my pup, and they didn't bat an eye at my last minute panic-booking. I was impressed by the extremely reasonable prices, and loved the optional add-ons like a bedtime story, or my favorite, updates via email with pictures (attached to this review) and a short message about how my girl was coping with her first stay away from us.All in all, it seems like Minnie had a great time, the staff were knowledgeable and friendly, and I feel super confident in my choice of Three Oaks. I would definitely bring her back!

Young lady that checked us in could not have been more helpful. There was a hiccup with our vet and their record keeping and the staff at Three Oaks not only helped us through that, but still made sure we were able to keep our appointment for our dog’s scheduled stay! We are looking forward to the email updates to show our kids while we are out of town!

All I can say is wow. These folks will take care of your fur babies like they are your own. Hands down the best place we have ever taken out dogs.

Great people. Very kind to my dog. Took time to interact with him to try and calm him down. He looked like a new man when I picked him up! Lol.

Not a customer- I called to inquire about grooming services as my current groomer is closing. After I gave the woman on the phone all of the pets info and was asked about my availability and preference of an appointment date I was told they would call me back. Which they did. Unfortunately, I was told the groomer felt they were "too old" for them to groom, but recommended I seek a veterinary groomer as they are no longer taking older pets. I found this odd as the dogs are older (13-15 years) but they are all in excellent health except one does have bad knees and it is hard for him to stand for more than 15 minutes at a time but they all are well-behaved during grooms and have been groomed regularly all of their lives. None the less I called a vet that had recently seen the pets and asked about the need for a veterinary groomer.I was told that they did not think that was necessary for any of them. Therefore unfortunately I can not leave a review on the quality of grooming but I would suggest that customers be told upfront and immediately that there are age restrictions for senior pets.Sadly this establishment is not friendly to the senior dog population.Fortunately the next two groomers I spoke with we're happy to have me come and view their establishment and answer all of my questions.I have to edit the original post since it will not let me reply.1st I have a witness that can confirm I told the receptionist the dogs were 13-15 year's old. I never said any of them were 17. Also they could hear the receptionist tell me the dogs were "to old" for this establishment that you were not taking older pets.I'm sorry for the incorrect relay of information that you received from your receptionist. That's unfortunate.

Three Oaks is a wonderful, caring place to bring your furry family members. Dani, Seth and the entire staff are so wonderful with the dogs and cats in their care. I love that the play is structured and not just a free for all. Dogs are required to take breaks - so important. Lola loves seeing all her best friends at doggie daycare. We also love knowing she is given the best care when we board her. Highly recommend!

Our Lab loves.... really LOVES going to Three Oaks! He makes friends and plays with those that are similar in size, getting appropriate levels of stimulus, training, love and treats. I highly recommend for your day-care or boarding needs.... oh, and don't forget grooming! Ranger gets his nails trimmed while at Three Oaks when needed and they are always done well!

The daycare program at Three Oaks is outstanding! Dani, Seth and the team are caring, positive, responsive and knowledgeable. The facility is clean, neat and organized. When I drop my pup off I know that his day will be filled with safe playtime with furry friends and fun, enriching activities with staff. Thank you, Three Oaks!

My pup so looks forward to his days at Three Oaks. He wishes he could go every day. When we drive up, he gets excited. When we enter the building, he does not even look back to say good-bye. He comes home happy and exhausted from play. He is a social dog and loves his canine friends and his human friends at the facility. We love your activities and creativity!

Three Oaks is a great pet facility which I have been taking my dog to for almost three years now. I have used their doggie daycare, day boarding, and overnight boarding. My dog can be very timid and vocal, especially if she doesn’t like a person or a place, but that has never been the case with Three Oaks. She loves going there and even gets excited as we drive up the hill when approaching the facility. The staff is very friendly, professional, and always ready to help. They have always been very accommodating for my dog and me, even when I am running late to pick my dog up from doggie daycare.I use their doggie daycare services the most, and with a job where I am tied up at work between 8-10 hours a day, I know my dog is getting the needed attention, exercise, and care that she wouldn’t get if I was only able to come home for a brief lunch break. I get a “report card” each time she attends daycare, this way I can see what she did during the day. The extra events held at doggie daycare throughout the year, like egg-treat hunts, little treat bags, or photos of my dog, show the thoughtfulness and level of care Three Oaks provides. Owning a dog can be expensive, but their rates are affordable, especially for the quality of services they provide.I love my dog a lot and would never take her to a boarding facility that would mistreat or cause her anxiety. Three Oaks is a fabulous place, and I am so thankful for the services they provide. I never have to worry about my dog when I leave her with the women at Three Oaks because I know and trust they will take great care of her.

Great place to take your pet for the day or boarding. The people that work here really care about the animals, and my lab loves going there every week. It's reasonably priced for all that you get. We are fortunate to have such a place in Farmville.

Maybe the happiest day of 2020 was the day Three Oaks reopened! That's true for Beau and his parents. He can't wait to get there on Tuesday and Thursday mornings. Our little stinker can be cantankerous but not with anyone or any dog at Three Oaks. They are the Beau-Beau whisperers!

I am new to the area and was looking for a place to take my dog a couple times a week for daycare. I have used doggie daycare in the past prior to coming to Farmville. So I stopped into Three Oaks Pet Resort to talk to the staff about their programs and I had a lot of questions. The staff member was not very knowledgable about the facility and was very hesitant to answer most of my questions. She told me that the dogs go outside for 20 minutes in the morning and 20 minutes in the afternoon. The rest of the time they are in their kennels alone with no interaction. The only way they can interact with other dogs or staff is through the fence of their kennels. The website says that there are indoor and outdoor play areas. The staff member stated that there is no indoor play area anymore because, "the owner didn't realize how big the place would get so now she doesn't know what to do with all the dogs so they stay in the kennels." I asked to tour the facility to see where the dogs were kept and the staff member was hesitant to let me see inside the facility, but agreed. When we went into the back there were lines of kennels and immediately all the dogs started jumping up against their cages and barking (think of walking into a dog pound because that's the same reaction all of the dogs had.) There was another staff member mopping urine off the floor of the kennels. The whole time I was there I only saw 2 staff members and at least 40 dogs. Keep in mind both staff members were teenager's! There were no adults at all and if there was one then they must have been hiding. There were two outdoor play areas but one was nothing but mud so it was not being used. They have no staff to dog ratio, the dogs dont have activities or even get to play with each other. I honestly dont think the owner did her research on what a reputable doggie daycare intails. I can go on and on about how terrible this place was, but instead I will just say that instead of calling it Three Oaks Pet Resort it should be called Three Oaks Dog Pound because that's exactly what it looked like, smelt like, and sounded like once you got out of the reception area. I am not a disgruntal customer trying to bad mouth the establishment. I am not even a customer as I never and will never leave my dog in the care of this establishment. I am however a very concerned individual that feels others need to be educated prior to leaving their beloved pet in the care of Three Oaks. I sincerely hope that the owner will make changes to better the lives of the dogs in his/her care while they are there because we can all kennel our dogs at home for free and not subject them to the environment they would experience if they were at one of the many Dog Pounds throughout the country.
