We adopted our boxer pup from Melendez Boxers/Kats Kennels in January of 2022. “Geraldo” was the last of the litter, just over 8 weeks old, a bit of an alpha pup, but we had to scoop him up after seeing that face. My kids decided to name him Leo. Now over 18 mos later, Leo is so much fun. He’s still full of energy, loves his walks, is absolutely fanatic over a ball, and enjoys an over abundance of treats from his human siblings daily. We love our Leo and are grateful to have found him through Kats Kennels. They were extremely responsive when we had initially inquired about puppies, & they very thorough and professional throughout the adoption process. They even reached out post-adoption to see how Leo was adjusting to his new family. I would highly recommend them if you are looking to adopt.

We had our long haired Siberian Husky groomed here and the experience was absolutely amazing! He had not been groomed in a while so the task at hand was a tough one to say the least. Kat made it happen and kept us updated with pictures and videos along the way. We are very happy with the results and look forward to working with her in the future!

We absolutely recommend Kat's Kennels and will definitely use them again! Our Milton was boarded for one week. Drop-off/pick-up was quick and efficient. LOVED getting videos every day of Milton. Grooming was excellent especially his nails and the bandana is too cute. Milton came back home a very happy and healthy pup :)

Kat was able to board our 2 large breed dogs on short notice over the Thanksgiving holiday weekend. She worked closely with us to alleviate our concerns over boarding our pets and sent us photographs and videos daily to provide updated status on their stay. I can not share enough good things about this kennel. my pup goes for daycare multiple days a week & is cared for exceptionally! Her experience is customized to her needs! Kat & her crew are always pleasant to interact with. My pup always comes home tired & is excited to go back the next day!

My dog was boarded with Kat for 8 days while I was on vacation. The customer service, from my experience, is wonderful compared to other boarding facilities in the Farmville area. I received multiple videos, specifically including my dog, daily of him playing with other dogs in the play areas. The attention and care Kat gives is unmatched by anyone else in the area. The kennels are beautiful, clean, and well maintained. I feel very comfortable taking my dog there and will continue to board with Kat and will continue to recommend her to others in the community!

Kat's Kennels is a fantastic place to take your pups while you're away. They took great care of my boy, and sent me several videos throughout his stay so I could see him playing and living his best puppy life. They did his nails for me, and they offer bathing and grooming services as well. The prices are more than fair, especially considering how well cared for the pups are. I will use them again!

We found Kat because a veterinarian in the DC area had a beautiful and mellow boxer she'd gotten from Kat, and recommended we reach out.We're happy we did. Kat mixes professionalism with personality and a deep, abiding responsibility as a breeder. She cultivates relationships with vets to ensure the health of the parents and the puppies. The puppies stay in her house, protected, cared for by Kat and their parents, and socialized early.Our time speaking with and meeting Kat allowed us to drive home confident and secure in our decision to add a new family member. We purchased one of the puppies, and could not be happier with our choice. Pick up Thor on Wed 20 Jan 2021, and Kat had everything ready. I've never bought a puppy from a breeder, but Kat's record-keeping and the health of the puppy were OUTSTANDING. I was looking through my folder she gave us and had the weight of Thor from the time he was born until the hour before we picked him up. The Vet records were great, and my vet was able to pick up right where the last one stopped.Seems Boxers are difficult to find, but glad we found Kat's Kennels. This is our second boxer, and our first was not crate trained, and didn't realize how importantance training. If you get a boxer from Kat make sure you get a good crate that is adjustable. When Thor get tired he drags his blanket to his crate and goes to sleep. He never complain about being in his crate.Thanks again Kat for a great dog!!

Our lab does daycare three days a week and loves it! The attention and care Kat gives is unmatched by anyone else in the area. The kennels are beautiful, clean, and well maintained. We feel very comfortable taking our dog there. There is lots of playtime, photos of how your dog is doing, and access to other services like grooming.

Our dog Max was very well taken care of and loved his stay. This facility is very clean and really nice. It has an outdoor play area with lots of space for the dogs to run and play. Max arrived wearing a big clumsy ecollar so my wife and I were concerned about how he would get along with the other dogs. Kat was so very thoughtful and placed a softer collar on Max to make his stay easier. Kat sent me a couple videos a day and I was relieved that he was in good care. Kat's Kennels did an outstanding job caring for our pet and we will use her again. I was more than satisfied with the service and happy with her prices. 5 Stars!!!

My dog stayed at Kat’s Kennel, LLC while I was on a family vacation. This is his second time being boarded and first time getting groomed. I was anxious leaving him for over a week, but the daily videos I received nightly, put me at ease. She truly treats all dogs like they are hers. I was pleased with the entire experience. Plus, he smells great!! Will definitely be boarding and grooming again.

This is the second time that my wife and I left our 2 dogs with Kat. Last year was just for a few days, but this time we left them for a month. Both dogs were in perfect shape when we got them back and seemed happy at Kat's Kennel. As always, Kat sends a few videos everyday of the dogs playing and it's very reassuring to get to watch them play. Of of our dogs gets very anxious in a new place and when we picked up the dogs she was playing with a puppy and was in full bliss. We fully recommend Kat's Kennel

I was fortunate to find this kennel when I had to board my dog while I was traveling. Kat was very understanding about leaving my dog for the first time - we had a couple of daycare sessions to make sure it was a good fit. She sent me pics and video clips so I could see how my dog was doing. The kennel is spotless. The outdoor play is closely supervised with compatible dogs. My dog loves the socialization and room to run, so she has been back for 'doggy daycare' a couple of times since. Kat also does a great job grooming. I would recommend this facility to anyone who is looking for a safe, reliable place for their dog to board or groom.

Kats is our preferred kennel, and not because of the prices, workers, and convenience ( which are all amazing). It’s our preferred kennel because of the way our dog is cared for. They have so much space for the dogs to run and interact. They even put pools out when it’s hot for your dog to swim or cool off! Kats treats our dog like she’s their dog. That fact is why we will never change kennels in FarmVille VA. Thanks Kats!

Kat operates a first rate kennel. We left our two boxers there for a week and they loved it. The dogs aren’t just locked up all day in a cage, they get out to run and play with the other dogs in the supersize yard area. Your dogs will love staying here. Also, Kat sends pictures or videos each day so you can see how well your dog is doing. We’ve never had that kind of service before.

Kat’s Kennels is the only place I will board my fur buddies. I know they are well cared for in their air conditioned video monitored kennels equipped with a doggie door to their own private outdoor rec yard/en suite. She assesses their compatibility with other on-site dogs for supervised play time in the huge fenced outdoor yard (multi-acres) that runs between her home and the kennels. I love getting the nightly videos of their pack play time that really allows me to see their unique personalities emerge with their new friends. My 3 dogs, from the independent 15 pound silky terrier to my 95 pound lab mix are always eager to enter their home away from home.

We recently adopted one of Kat’s boxer puppies. After searching for awhile for a reputable boxer breeder we finally found Kat. Kat was responsive, knowledgeable about the breed and most importantly it was easy to see she genuinely loves all of her dogs! It really shows in our puppy’s demeanor that he was socialized early and very well cared for. Our puppy is calm, friendly, playful and super easy going so far and I think this is all because of the way Kat and her family took care of him early on. Kat’s kennel offers the dogs so much space to run and play; it’s definitely the kind of place you want your puppy to be raised. You can trust Kat if you’re looking for a boxer pup or a doggy daycare and once you meet her and see her kennel you won’t think twice about leaving your pup in her care.

Kat took care of our cats in our home while we were away on a cruise. She was very diligent about refilling their food and water daily, as well as scooping multiple litter pans. She was very communicative with us and we had a worry-free vacation! We will definitely go with Kats Kennels next time we get away!

On short notice I had to board my large reactive baby for an entire week and he absolutely thrived here!!! I was so nervous he would need to be alone the entire time because we are super nervous about introductions to other dogs. Kat was amazing with him! He was playing with other dogs and enjoying pool parties. She sent videos and pictures every day and I honestly cried when I saw him happy and socializing. I will definitely be taking him here regularly.

I have an Aussie puppy and had to leave town unexpectedly for a few days. I received videos and pictures while out of town showing how much fun he was having without me. I was kinda jealous!
