Picked up a 50 piece order of fried chicken for a party. They were just finishing up cooking when I got there. The New Owner packed it perfectly wrapped nice and placed in a box also gave us a bottle of hot sauce and lots of napkins. Everyone loved the chicken and I loved the service. Thank you Granny Bs. We'll definitely order again🙂

I love going to Granny B's! They make better chicken than KFC. And everything else is too!It's a great place to stop and get a gallon of milk, or a loaf of bread. And while you're at it, get lunch or dinner. The employees are like seeing a friend. They always have a smile and kind words. I would recommend you try some chicken. You'll get hooked!☺️

I stop by here all the time if ya get here in the am. Best breakfast sandwiches around. Burgers again huge. And the chicken. Best in Central VA..!!!! Great people always feels good to drop by... All you big city bad reviews take the spoon out ya a$$ and go to kfc.

On a road trip from Virginia Beach to Roanoke, finally had a chance to visit the "best fried chicken place" in Virginia. Had to say, was very disappointed after actually having a taste. While the crunch and cook of the chicken was spot on, it was extremely salty, so salty I felt like I was drinking saltwater from the ocean with each bite! We were not able to finish the chicken and left very disappointed...FYI, in no relation to my low star review for this place, for those on a road trip, keep in mind they do not have a public restroom.

I loved it. I’m visiting from out of town and saw this place on Google. I had 2 thighs, scalloped potatoes, collards, and macaroni salad. All were very good. Worth the 10 minute drive out of downtown FarmVille.

Gross food, very greasy and stale. Not good at all. Very over priced for what youre getting. And the woman working there is rude as can be with a really nasty attitude. I would never go here again.

Great food at great prices, very friendly people, dine in or can sit outside. Only 4 chairs but it's nice. Highly recommend the chicken and the fish. In the winter, keep an eye out for the chicken and dumplings!!!!! And get the big container. You'll kick yourself if you don't.
