Loved it. Great food. Had Brunswick stew along with collard greens, sister had chopped barbecue sandwich. And we had ice cream food was outstanding. Had bluegrass band on the day we visited. Show was great. Great customer service place was clean, good food, good music. I couldn't have asked for anything else on a Sunday afternoon. Highly recommend

This weekend was our 2nd visit and it was so disappointing that we walked out. When we got to the place it was busy but no one was in line at the counter. I walked up with my kids and my husband coming in behind me. We were there for ice cream so my kids and I of course looked at the ice cream counter because my kids wanted to see what they had. The cashier asked if we wanted to try anything. Each of us tried one flavor and decided what we wanted. The cashier walked away ignoring us. So I tried asking my kids if they wanted an ice cream flight or what. No one else offered to help us. I look at the cashier that handed us the ice cream tastings and she told me I wasn't in line. That I needed to wait behind 4 other customers and you have to pay when you order. DUH! I was trying to give you my order and you walked away. You didn't communicate that I needed to take a step to my left even though my husband was standing under the ORDER HERE sign and all 4 of us had the tiny tasting spoons in our hands. Why would I think that myself being the only one in line, you giving us tasting spoons, and my husband standing under the ORDER HERE sign would mean we weren't in line? Instead this female decided to try and embarrass us and make it sound like we were trying to cut in line. I was not in the mood to deal with her attitude so we left. The owner offered to help us if we'd stay but after as unwelcome as that cashier made me feel we'll never return and I will tell people to skip that place.Also, at this visit too because they keep the ice cream a bit warm to make it easy to scoop again some was freezer burnt ad soupy. Not like our $50 order is going to break them but when friends visit town we'll hit up other locally owned businesses instead. I hope they succeed.

Our pork sandwich was so good and fresh, they cook it outside in a smoker. Potatoe salad, baked beans and cole slaw was best ever. We met the owner, Mark and he was so friendly and kind. Also we heard live blue grass music on Thursday night there starting at 6pm. All local pickers and singers and they were excellent!!! Thanks, Mark, for making us feel so welcome!!

My wife and I had the 1/2 rack baby back ribs. They were huge and excellent. My only issue was the membrane was still on the back which made them slightly messier to eat but the flavor was outstanding. We tried both sauces, vinegar based and the sweet sauce. Both were very good. We both had baked beans and potato salad which were also very good. Good food, reasonable prices and very nice staff. They even demonstrated the smoker to us. It was a very nice experience and we will be back.Parking: Parking was fine at the time we went but it could be more difficult if it gets crowded.

My wife’s pork sandwich was full of “bark” which would be tolerable for a plate but this bark was super dry and way over smoked and the only slaw available was shredded white slaw. As for my brisket plate, there were @ 4 small slices & a few bits ($16.50) of brisket. It too was way over smoked, all I could taste was the wood. Zero taste of the beef. Baked beans were in a clump and the tater salad was undercooked chunks of potatoes with very little moisture.This was a terrible mistake and we will not be returning.Didn’t bother with the overpriced ice cream bar.

Just a stop in for a quick bite on the way to a weekend get-away and this place hit the spot!I had the BBQ platter with smoked Mac n cheese and mountain cabbage. The cabbage was perfectly seasoned, the BBQ was very tender, and the Mac n Cheese had a perfect smoky flavor.Definitely stop in at this place!

Went in to see the new place it was very clean and bright. Decided to try the four sides, they were smoked macaroni and cheese, greens, beans, and marinated cucumber tomato salad. Talk to the owners who work there also and they said they had already sold over 90 gallons of ice cream and what I think was only two weeks. Everything was great except for the macaroni which wasn't what I expected. Definitely will be going back and trying the wings and the pulled pork

What an incredible experience. Terrific food, delicious ice cream, and wonderful atmosphere. Everyone here is incredibly inviting. The bbq is awesome and my wife was set on getting a "fancy flight" of ice cream which was decorated and delivered. They played live music on request as well. If you're in the area or just passing through, do yourself a favor and stop by.

Ordered BBQ sandwich W\ side of Mac and cheese.I honestly thought at $8.50 for the sandwich and $4.50 for the Mac & Cheese, it would’ve been enough for 2. Nope!Sandwich was really good but small, Mac & Cheese was in what appears to be a 6oz cup and should’ve been thrown out hours ago. It was terrible. Void of any flavor and squished beyond recognition.The staff was very nice and accommodating. The interior was very nice.

Driving through & seen this on the way home. Stopped in to get something to go. Very quaint & cute place. Menu a Lil confusing as to main food, sides, and if there is a comolere entree. I think there were options that weren't on the menu. Anyways, I got the pulled pork sandwich, slaw (purple cabbage), sauce on side (tasted more on the ketchup side), smoked Mac & cheese (was dry), and corn (both sides a Lil much on black pepper for me). Bun & pulled pork was good. Smoker is on site. Sampled the icecream & it was good. I think if I went back, icecream is what I'd stick with. Hubby has the hot dog. He wasn't crazy about the chili. Everyone was friendly.
