It took 13 minutes to buy one pack of gum. That's right; 13 minutes. I was second in line the entire time. The cashier did not say one word to me. There was no: I'm sorry for your wait, no remorse, no attempt to get someone else to help me, nothing. Yet she spent an inordinate amount of time assisting someone who couldn't figure out how to use one of his cards. I guess she just didn't like me, even though I stood there and didn't say anything. Then when she rang me up, my one pack of gum cost $2.10! I was shocked. I paid, and I was not even offered a bag. This woman said less than five words to me the entire transaction. Wow.

Today, around 4:00 PM on 03/21/2024, I encountered a frustrating situation at a pharmacy. I was there to pick up a prescription and was informed I'd need to wait 20 minutes for it to be filled, which seemed reasonable at the time. So, I decided to wait in my car. After waiting for 30 minutes without receiving a notification, I went back, only to find a queue of five people. Once it was finally my turn, a different pharmacist informed me that the medication I was prescribed is controlled and that I would have to return in three days to pick it up.I can't help but feel this situation could have been handled much more efficiently. If I had been informed of the three-day wait initially, I could have used my time more productively, especially since I had classes to attend. This experience felt not only like a waste of time for both parties but also disrespectful. It's perplexing why, with my contact information readily available, a simple phone call couldn't have been made to inform me of the delay. Consequently, after I retrieve my prescription in three days, I plan to switch to a pharmacy that values customer time more highly. I would advise others to consider doing the same, based on my experience.

Both the Walgreens company and this particular store on Main Street in Fairfax Virginia. Even though I had 3 different vaccines at the store before and my insurance never changed, the company’s website lets me book the appointment that they don’t have the vaccine in stock and then claimed they don’t accept my insurance. Why don’t they check their stock and the insurance eligibility before letting me book the appointment and to add insult to injury, the receptionist had a snarky attitude and the store manager for the pharmacy just stood there and said nothing. Not even a word of apology.

This is my second Walgreens to use in Fairfax and they are equally bad. By far the worst customer service I have ever experienced. The average hold time on phone calls is over 30 minutes and that’s after getting disconnected or hung up on several times. Going in is usually a nightmare. You better plan for at least a 30 minute wait and have had several that were over 2 hours. They were supposed to be about 20 min to fill. Ive even been lied to about why some weren’t done. I don’t blame the employees I feel they are doing the best they can. I blame the company for not making sure we the customer have enough help at the locations that need it. There closer stores to me I’ve just always loved Walgreens. I’m going somewhere closer and hopefully better.

Shannon and Zafor:I want to compliment Shannon for their patient help as I stumbled through making my first ever photo album which was to be a gift for my adult children for Christmas! I had absolutely no idea how to even start, much less what to do. Shannon was so helpful and encouraging and spent so much time with me while managing to take care of other customers at the same time. I never felt judged or hurried, only supported and encouraged by them.Zafor (I hope I have spelled his name correctly) was also extremely patient and helpful a few days later as I tried to make a different book. I was in there so long, it was approaching closing time, but he worked with me and went above and beyond in helping me get the correct pictures uploaded from different sources.Though it is about 1 1/2 months now after their help, I felt it was extremely important to let it be known how personable and helpful they both were and that they delivered outstanding customer service.

She introduced me some products that helped with my pigments .She keeps up with the latest products in the market .I love her consultation. If I could give this store manager a zero I would. While I understand the associates frustration on not being adequately trained on making certain photo orders, it’s not an excuse. When a person is hired, the managers and fellow associates past their own training days are supposed to be have your new staff trained on how operations work, and if you are a photo specialist, then you were supposed to know the basics and should have been taught that.As the store manager and associates, do not tell a customer that while you do apologize that their same-day order is not available (already waited 24hrs before calling the store with an update) and to come back the following day in the afternoon (now on day 3), for said customer to only to discover their order in the evening, the 3rd day, is still not even complete. Then having your associates say that the store manager was supposed to finish it before they left, but then you’re saying you can’t finish it because you don’t have the supplies and or the training. Help me make it make sense on which story is the best to tell a customer.

i just had the worst experience at the Pharmacy here. I always dread going to this Pharmacy because there is always a line that just takes way too long but they now have a monopoly since the CVS closed near them. It took me 20 minutes to get to the front. I was asked about a bunch of questions that the employee was typing away in the system. I asked why she needed all this info and she said I did not have a profile which made no sense since I have been there before. After another 10 minutes of this she finally told me the prescription was not ready. It was 2:00 and it had been called in at 10:30! No apologies just a blank stare telling me I needed to wait another 10 minutes. I will drive to CVS that is further away from now on. This is not a Third World Country but sure felt like it here!

Don't usually shop at Walgreens. I do appreciate their serving as a provider of COVID vaccine doses and boosters. Their website for making a COVID vaccine appointment could use some improvement. It doesn't work properly with Google Chrome and filling out the consent form in advance does little good since the Pharmacy starts over when you arrive.

Beware of this pharmacy’s pricing practices!!! They were great being able to turn around an order quickly in an emergency but.. Walked in for the pickup and was told a price 5x the normal for the medication. That didn’t seem quite right given what I’d paid before so I questioned it… and the price suddenly went up to 11x the normal. 11x.It was an emergency need, so I paid for a smaller amount at the increased price to bridge a couple days before being back at another facility but that’s just wild. I get supply and demand but 7.5$ per pill for something that normally costs 0.65c, all brand name? Who pocketed that difference?Take the extra ten minutes out of your day and go to wegmans, or literally anywhere else.

My first experience with Walgreens pharmacy.. The doctor put my prescription to a different store and due to unavailability they called me promptly to inform me that they can transfer the prescription to a nearby store where they have medicines available. I accepted the resolution and was transferred to this store. I was truly impressed by the pharmacy staff and the pharmacist. She took time to explain all the medicines and when and what to take. I have been new to Walgreens pharmacy and saw a stark difference as compared to other pharmacies. Great job. Keep it up!!

I have never spent more than 10 min trying to buy something in this store and have never gotten out in less than 20. There is NO STAFF. I swear on my first born I have spent exponentially more waiting in line than actually shopping. Wild that it’s always this way all hours of the day. Literally can’t shop there because I can’t dedicate 25 minutes everytime I need to run inside for deodorant. Everyone there is really nice and staff is cool. Just a terribly run store. Whoever is in charge is not pulling their weight

Like the vast majority of the reviews for this location - the PHARMACY, its personnel, and their service are the worst. I was treated so rudely. There were some issues with my prescription. When I asked why my prescription was having such a hard time to be processed, the lady I was speaking on the phone pretended she was unable to hear me and eventually "put me on hold" and disconnected from the phone call. I was trying to explain to her my situation, so we could solve any misunderstanding, but she was just cutting me off. Completely unprofessional.I called back, but good thing I had my work phone with me. So, 15 - 20 seconds into the call, I placed another call to the pharmacy with my work phone. They actually picked up my phone call coming from my work phone but ignored my cell phone call (the one number they already have linked to their system as my number). I was shocked how they intentionally ignored my cell phone call but picked up the call from an unknown number (that's not registered in their system).The second lady I spoke listened until I explained to her what the misunderstanding might be, but she still acted like she was not sure what was going on. However, she looked more into their database and said something like, "oh, I know what it's going on." Then when I asked her what the reason was, she diverted from the conversation and refused to tell me any reason(s). I was very frustrated by then. It is my own record. They already corrobated it is me, I, the patient, the one whose records belong to. I was not asking for a second or third person's records but my own. She actually hang up on me rudely. I wanted to know why this could not be solved. The medication I needed was supposed to be taken prior surgery for next morning. Hence, my sense of urgency.I cannot entirely describe how frustrating it was to speak with the personnel of this Walgreens Pharmacy (twice). They were so untouched and uncaring about my medical situation. They were also so rude, unprofessional, and exhibited little to no care for the me the customer who it's also a patient.If you do not like nor want to work in the customer service field, it's fine. But if you do happen to work in the customer service, then please show some respect for this field and act like you do care for others.Customer service employees must show sense of urgency, exhibit diplomacy and tact, drive themselves with professionalism at all times, and in the Healthcare industry, also show care, authentic and sincere empathy, and above all, patience. If none of these skills and values are your strength, then this is not the work field for you. Even if you have been working 10 - 12 hours straight..., apologies, but the customer is not at fault. In other words, it does not give you the right to treat people poorly because you have an unfortunate day at work.Treat others like you would like to be treated.I do not recommend this walgreens pharmacy at all. Avoid it if you can. Read all other reviews. Most reviewers are complaining about the same.... their poor customer service and how rudely they act towards them (the customers/patients).Do not go here.

Ordered over the counter medication today ( July 26) online. They gave me the medicine that is expired on 7/23. If a medicine is about to expire in 3 days, you must not deliver it to people who need it for more than 5 days.

On 9/14/22, my wife was planning to pick up some pictures she sent to their photo lab online. However, she ended up getting a random text from someone that ended up with her pictures. The anonymous person confirmed by sending a photo. This is a privacy issue(a random person knows my wife's first and last name, along with a picture of my 12 month old son who had no clothes on) and they did not handle the situation properly. My wife called them to let them know of the mix up and they made sure to reprint her photos for pickup.Later in the day, my wife left to pick up the photos and expressed her frustration politely, however it fell on deaf ears. All she was given was a nonchalant "sorry" and "this never happened before". Its unfortunate that the only way she would have had an appropriate response was if she pulled a "Karen" and made a scene, or maybe if she wasn't a minority. Apparently, Walgreens does not think that giving out customer personal information along with unclothed baby photos to the wrong person is of concern.

I just went to Walgreens thí morning for my booster#3, Danielle, the staff behind the pharmacy counter did my paperwork.she took my ID and Health insurance card . I was told to wait 30’ . I checked my paperwork and found down my name isn’t correct. I told her and expected she print another correct paper for me . She said she updated on the computer and will print later.After 30’ , and I get the booster already, I came back to the counter and ask her my correct name paperwork, she printed another paperwork with the wrong name in different way . I told her that is not correct. She asked my driver license again, at last I get my name correctly . She took all the incorrect paperwork and throw in trash can with the attitude that irritated meBefore get out of Walgreens,one staff at cosmetic shelf asked if I need helpI bought some lipsticks to comfort myself when I am in a bad day with DanielleFate meh is so nice and professional, she is not only given me the best service but also change my moodShe made my dayThanks for your excellent service FatemehThis is the reason I gave 4 starsI hope the management will consider that to improve the serviceThanks for reading my review

My doctor called in a prescription at about 3:30pm. I called in at 6pm to check the status. They said it would be ready in 1-1 1/2hrs. I called back at 8:30pm when I didn’t receive my text. The pharmacist told me that it won’t be ready until tomorrow and that the doctor ordered for me to start it tomorrow not today. I called my doctor and they informed me I was supposed to start immediately. The pharmacist is a blatant liar. I will never return.

I have never received such excellent customer service like the one I received from Cris! He was so helpful, patient and kind. Please give this man a raise or promotion. People like him need to get recognized for their amazingness. The manager who assisted me was also very kind. In addition, the store was clean, well organized and I will definitely become a loyal customer now after my exceptional experience.

There is a sale lady in front of the store that every single time we go there treat me and my family including my 4 year old son in a way that I feel she hates us. I don’t understand the reason why somebody should be this rude to customers! Customers are there just for a few minutes, she could be nice no matter what!

Went for a COVID booster today. Waited in line, checked in. Was told to sit in chair and they'd be right with me. 30 min later, someone came over and asked me to fill out a form. Not clear why form wasn't given when I checked in. Filled out the form. 30 min later, still no one in sight to give the booster, no explanation, nothing, so I left. The staff did have time to yell out that the pharmacist was working a 12-hour day and clapped. Too bad I took an hour off from my 12-hour day for nothing. I should have stuck with CVS, where I got my last three shots with zero trouble.

What a bad experience for me! I ordered document printing from website. And I selected closest Walgerens for pickup. They sent mail for revieved your order. After 1 and half our I went to store for pickup. And they just said "Sorry, our machine is down. You can get your order after 4 days." Really???? i oredered onlie and selected this store. It showed that prepare 1 hour and same day pcikup. I wasted my time. It was very bad experience for me!!

Really awkward and inconvenient experience with the staff working just now. The guy working was incompetent and he literally started to help someone else take a passport photo in the MIDDLE of my transaction. The asian manager was helpful but she wasn’t very friendly or welcoming.
