THIS STORE IS GOING FROM BAD TO WORSE THEY HAVE MANY PEOPLE TALKING EACH OTHER ON THE SELF CHECK OUT LINE BUT NO ONE FOR THE ELECTRICAL I JUST NEED TO GET SOME F. Krishna was working cash register on my visit today. I had a bunch of gift cards that had been sitting around, we couldn’t even see pin # on one of them.Krishna, with some assistance from two other great employees patiently assisted me to look up balance and apply every card (7).I usually dread having to ask for help at stores, but this was not the case at the Fairfax Home Depot. They ROCK!!Thank you

I came to the Home Depot in 29 Lee Highway, Fairfax VA. 3/28 / 24 at 8:45 am To return the item I buy from them.They don’t want to accept the item without the receipt I ask for the store card. They denied me when I call for the manager she was so mean she doesn’t want to answer my question at all. She doesn’t want to provide me, customer service number or anything. Experience I have with them this morning I will never come back to this Home Depot again. I am a contractor I spent over $200,000 only in Home Depot a year.Abdelahk

I had an issue with the wrong address for my upcoming delivery and their manager Sylvia was able to coordinate with Jose from order fulfillment and a couple other associates to step up and make my delivery on time despite the change in address 1 day before the delivery date. Home Depot really stepped it up and in the process they earned a loyal customer for life. Thank you Sylvia, Jose, and associates that helped keep my project on track!

20220909 I prefer the Reston store when I order online for pick up. They seem to be faster and more organized. At this location, some of the employees don't seem to know what they are doing at the pick up/return, slower or disorganized where they don't always find my order. Today, after waited awhile, the young man who helped me was hawhile, but not very efficient.I recently visited this Home Depot to pick up a couple of smoke detectors. I walked into the store, stopped, and reading the big signs trying to figure out where they might be. The Home Depot employee asked if I needed any help and he took me to the section where the smoke alarms are. He even went as far as helping me locate the ones I was looking for, and he even made suggestions such ones with carbon monoxide detector. At the register, another sales person offered to help at the self checkout. The customer service offered at the location made me feel like I had a personal shopper, and I was in and out in less than 10 minutes. What a great experience!!

Researching paint and home renovation. Good place to visit to get a baseline. Haven't had any issues here but I don't ask for much. Parking is usually easy.Kind like an adult home owner's toy store. Man I must be getting old.

Keep reminding myself not to come here again. Same product cost more here than Lowes. Price match not possible most times because serial number slightly different for basically same product.Today this faucet had two different price displayed, one on display and one on the shelf.The staff at the section said lower price is right. At the counter manager says the lower price is sales price that is now expired.

There's a lot of things cheaper here than Amazon. The Fairfax location is managed by well and kept clean. There's always someone around to answer questions if needed. Open until 10 pm on Saturday, it was a lifesaver for a construction project!

I ordered a solid core interior door to replace a hollow core door. This door had to be custom made because it wasn’t a standard 30” size. This was an attempt for me to try to block some of the noise coming from the other side of the door. The door was installed but doesn’t fit properly. I called to complain about this and was told, by the installer, that it doesn’t fit properly because the frame bows. They said the only way to fix this was to get a new door frame. I was not informed of this when the installer was here or I would have just had him put the original door back because that fit perfectly, so I’m not buying the frame bowing excuse. Of course, they no longer have my original door, less than 24 hours later. So now I’m stuck with a terrible, unpainted door that not only doesn’t help with the noise problem, but the noise problem is actually worse because of gaps on both sides. Beware ordering custom made Home Depot products.

Fred was not helpful (senior citizen white male) to me at self check out. After I purchased my item, I selected for my receipt to be printed only and not emailed to me. The printer jammed and the system, loudly announced, customer needs assistance at self checkout and it continued to repeat. Fred ignored it, made eye contact with me and proceeded to help the customers behind me. When I spoke and said “can I get some help, he ignored me again. It’s ironic that the couple behind me were white too. I also noticed another gentleman at self check out (seemed to be Latino) waiting for help that Fred ignored. Luckily an employee farther away than Fred, assisted me by accessing the printer and removing the paper jam. If Fred is hard of hearing he shouldn’t be doing the job. If he’s not hard of hearing, then I definitely feel discriminated against. If you don’t want to encounter DISCRIMINATION, you may not want to patronize this Home Depot.

Considering thr shear size of this location, they appear to be very efficient. I came in today for a quart of paint. Thankfully, there were no Customers ahead if me so I was able to place my oder quickly. They were able to match a Brnjamin Moore color to a Behr paint product. I walked around for a few minites, then came back to the paint department, anf it was ready!

The eGift cards at Home Depot are a scam. I sent a $600 gift card to my mom at an incorrect email. It been verified that this HAS NOT been claimed. They will not cancel the order or correct the email. I'm screwed out of $600 because HD eGift Cards are a scam. THANKS HD.

Grace in the kitchen appliaces section made my day! My wife and I just bought our first home...so with all that excitement comes many trips to home depot. Some days it's hard to find help in varying locations/sections of the store, but this trip was great. Grace made our visit fun, easy, and efficient. I feel ready to buy a fridge because she was so patient and helpful. Go Grace!

This Home Depot has an amazing staff member and it's the only store I'm going to from now on. Jai in lumber is a pro through and through. He offered his unsolicited assistance right after helping other patrons. Jai was very attentive, knowledgeable and cut lumber down precisely. Give this man a raise, he made my life easier, period.

They wouldn't accept my return of a toilet seat that I had for less than a week, that was terrible quality because I didn't have the original box. I cleaned it with Clorox wipes, but customer service and a manager said it was a bio hazard. I had the receipt. The Home Depot is not reputable, in my opinion!

This is for the people who work at this location. I was lucky to be interacting with some wonderful individuals here. Let me start with Paulo who I think is the store manager; he is very helpful and goes out of his way to help resolving any issues. John (the guy with beard) was extremely helpful and patiently assisted us in finding the right product. Finally, Rae was a pleasure interacting with for check out and setting up delivery. I’m sure the rest of the team are as nice and helpful.UPDATE: 3/5/23: This is still my favorite HD but some folks who work here seem to be unhappy! One of the them in lumber aisle (white bulky dude w/cap and short) was a bit of a jerk! Not sure if the management ever reads these reviews…
