Order two half inch rib eye steaks. When they gave them to us, they were two thirds fat. Usually meet from spivey's market is excellent,but today it was terrible. No way was I going to pay for two packs of beef fat

It is the quality of meats and customer service that you were given back when I was a child going to the butcher shop with my mom. This kind of services has fade out over the years. It is a rare blessing to receive this service in today society. This is a TREASURE!!!

Staff here was very attentive, and helpful. I found the meat selection was better quality than the big name supermarkets, and same, or lower price. It's not a really big store just a local mom, and pop with a great selection. If you are in the area, or cruising along 95 take the exit, and stop in. This is going to be another one of my favorite stops along my route 95 travel.

I travel over 2 hours to Spivey,'s to get smoked meats and sausage. They have the best Virginia smoked ham. The store is small, but has a lot to offer. The food is always fresh and the staff is amazing. I am never disappointed.

My family have been coming here my entire life. We live in New Kent VA and still shop here several times per year. Every Thanksgiving, Christmas, Easter road trip!The best meats, prices, always clean, along with polite staff and service request for special meat cuts are no problem. It was a place recommended by a friend who lives in the area and this customer service was great however the prices were a bit expensive compared to a local Country Store in my area. I thought I would get at least the same or a better price at the store but I didn't. It was a different place and I supported their business.

This little country store in the middle of town has some of best country ham around. They cook and debone then slice the ham for your needs. Fresh chicken cut to your liking. The ribeye steaks marinated in there marinate sauce are lip smacking good. They have tray sausage mild or hot. Will sell wholesale for your needs. Come in and see what they have.

Great cuts of pork, beef, and chicken. Best known for country Ham cooked to order for Christmas and Thanksgiving. Personal service. A little pricey but worth it. EBT and debt accepted

I always stop into Spivey's Market on my way back from Florida to get my country ham for the year. Friendly service behind the meat counter and southern charm. The area that the market is in, reminds me of a very small town in the middle of no where.
