I visited the local Emporia Greensville Humane Society. I was so amazed at the facility here in Emporia! Work done there on a daily basis is astounding and they really need volunteers!Donations accepted as well from those loving animals and are willing to help with funding their care. Frequently a Veterinarian is needed and animals must be transported for care.Donations also accepted in Honor of a special someone's Birthday, Anniversary or just Friendship!The Memory of a loved one is another great reason to make donations; especially in instances where they valued the love of that special cat or dog!Acknowledgement is always sent to the person being Honored or to the family Memorializing their loved ones by a donation.A WIN-WIN situation...that benefits animals LOCALLY!

My friend and I were driving on the highway and found a very emaciated dog who was in the middle of the road. We called around to many places and ended up driving to the humane society and Peggy and Tricia were so kind and were able to take the dog in without question. We cannot thank them enough for their help!

MS. PEGGY MALONE & STAFF ARE VERY FRIENDLY, UNDERSTANDING ... MOST OF ALL , ARE DEDICATED AND VERY COMPASSIONATE FOR THE 24/7 CARE OF ALL 'BABIES' WITH THIS FACILITY. MS. MALONE IS A TRUE SAVIOUR AND HAS DEMONSTRATED HER EXPERTISE, LOVE FOR MY KIDS, IN TIMES OF ASSISTANCE. PLEASE SUPPORT THIS FACILITY AND ADOPT A PET TODAY!
