The co-op has been great to work with ordering in Kalmbach Feeds for our small farm. We had been driving to Culpeper each month to pick up feed from another co-op, but being able to stay local and get better service is so nice.Every time I order, our feed arrives the next week and while I do have to call and check on our order - it’s always ready to go when I do arrive to pick up.It’s also one of the only feed stores I’ve ever been to that has a foot wash at the door. Kudos to them for helping us farmers maintain biosecurity!

We’ll be carful at Elkton cause one lady employee went into my father account closed his account out with out asking him first. I called corporate they said my father sold farm . I said farm house and 6 acres and that’s hardly a farm . He still owns and farms 145 acres. She went by here say. This make 2 xs this lady has done this. I guess she knows everyone busy so she thinks. I don’t think employees she should be able go thru computer look everyone info up and make the decision to cancel people accounts.she also takes upon her self to not let people that help him go in buy stuff for farm. He’s 83 he needs help on farm. What business is it of hers.

Great supply store, lots of odds and ends for country housing and farms. Good for a lot of the little odd jobs and pieces that we always seem to need living in the country but not on a farm. Staff was helpful, polite and funny to deal with. A go to for a lot of things you may not find at a big box

The customer service is not satisfactory as all. There is a young woman who works there and was extremely nasty to not only me but three people before me who asked questions. One gentleman asked to order something and it was almost as if she didn't want to do her job. She ordered the item with eye rolls and a sigh and didn't even say thank you to the gentleman. Then I asked her if they had something in stock and she said no in a nasty way to me...I asked if and when something would come in and she said "I don't know...why are you asking me? we don't know that stuff." I was very taken back. In fact I put back the other things I was buying and walked out. Every time I go in there she is unapproachable so beware of the mean girl behind the counter with no personality and who obviously doesn't like her job.
