Visited 1/3/24 No issues to report. Clean and organized. This store is close to the massenutten resort. We were able to get in and out no long lines to check out. Everything we needed, they had stocked, which is a great thing. I'm not sure how far the next store was.

As grocery stores go this one's better than most. Clean, organized, friendly staff, and typically they have everything I need in stock. I really enjoy being able to order what I need from the app and just picking up from the pickup zone. They do have self checkout and they also have a decent meat department and deli however they only carry items that most people desire. The downside is that they lack a larger selection like most of the larger chains have when it comes to fresh cut produce, fresh seafood, and other deli items.

Located in a small shopping center, plenty of parking. We'll stocked,clean,friendly staff. ABC Store located next to the property. Fast food and family restaurants all in the same area.

This is a clean store and very well stocked. It is busy and supplies the Elkton area. This is set up for handicap parking and inside is accessible. Have all the new upgrades and check out went smooth even when it was very busy day. Recommend going here if in the area as prices wear comparable with big stores that require a long drive.

Everyone was so friendly in Elkton. We were visiting from out of town. Got everything we needed for our weekend getaway cabin trip and was happy with checkout. We shop at Food Lion regularly so we nee where most things were located.

Clean and well organized. Large signs that tell you what is down each aisle. Fresh fruits and vegetables. Fresh deli. Packaged salads. Rotisserie chickens...over 2 lbs in size. Beer and wine sold here. Friendly cashiers. Convenient to Massanutten Resort.

Go here at least 3 times a week, most of the employees are wonderful and I have almost no complaints. However, I always do self checkout. There is a girl that works there watching the self checkout registers doing what I assume is theft prevention. Which I totally understand and doesn't matter a whole lot me I usually just go about my business and ring up my stuff, pay and leave. For some reason though every single time I'm in there and she is working she will literally come stand right behind me and watch over my shoulder the ENTIRE time. To the point she no longer even pays attention to anyone but me. First, second, even third time I paid mind to her. My mom needed a couple things from food lion so I drove her over. Once again, same thing. When we got in the car my mom pointed out how it was a little odd how 3/4 self checkout registers were being used but she came right over to us, acted like we were only ones in the store and watched my every move.Now, it isn't a huge deal because I don't steal, I have never been in trouble once in my entire life. Not even a ticket. If this was something she did to everyone, periodically checked on everyone using the self checkout, or just didn't come and watch only me the entire time I wouldn't even be leaving this post as I hardly if ever leave reviews. If I was the only one using self check out or had stolen before, I'd feel it's more understandable. I just can't justify or find a reason why she feels it necessary to do this every time I'm in there.Maybe I'm wrong, maybe I shouldn't care but I can't help but feel more and more irritated every time she does it. I just dont understand why she does this. Every, single, time....

We are from out of town, but found this place to get groceries when staying local. Went to Martin’s, but needed to go here to get some more things. Apparently they are an affiliate so the MARTIN’S member card worked here as well. The prices seemed cheaper, and just overall a great vibe!

So we always stop here to shop when we're in Virginia. This place has product the makes me feel like I'm in a high end specialty store but with reasonable prices. All the staff are friendly and ready to answer any questions you might have.

Very nice group of helping fela. You are assisted in a very well manrr. That helps a lot with out of town folks like me. The store is very well stocked as well. Great location. Very accessible. Very close to the resort. Prices are those of a small town but not near of those of convenient store.

Normally, for a Food Lion, I would give it 5 stars, but during this troubling time, they're having difficulty keeping up on stock. T.P. and towels, OK; idiot hoarders, but things like crunchy peanut butter? Spices? Come on, hoarders can't be scooping all that up, too. Still having difficulties keeping stock, but supply chain issues and an IDIOT in office, its not just them.Back to the old Food Lion despite the moron still in office. 1 more year, thank god.

Always enjoy the fact that food lion is open early and stays open later as it's hard to shop during normal times due to work. The only issue I've been having here lately is a lot of products have been out of stock. If you plan on buying stuff that is on sale make sure you go the first day of the sale or you might be out of luck. The employees at this location are always helpful and courteous.

I enjoy the food lion in my town as the employee's make it a better experience! They are helpful and polite, and keep the store very clean and shelf full. They certainly practice FIFO, when restocking. My only negative experience with food lion are that things can be pricey.

A little bit more than just the bare necessities, find what you need at a decent price. A standard fare grocery store that's well kept and organized. Cashiers are friendly, helpful, and efficient. They didn't miss beat when we brought are open reusable bags in, which is nice that more and more people are doing that. Our trip was easy in and easy out.

I used the self-checkout and an item rang up wrong. Customer service gladly refunded me the difference within minutes. I'd also left behind a bag of goods and another cashier brought it to me with a smile. I was VERY pleased with my shopping experience at this Food Lion. 😊

Food Lion is great everywhere. Had to make a run for cookie dough while on vacation at Massanutten Resort. I still am a little shocked to see liquor sold there. Lol. But store is always open, clean and great prices.
