Drivers: Easiest way to get lined up correctly to their delivery door is to turn on E Rockingham St and take the first left down the alley way, (there is enough room just go slow and watch your mirrors) go behind the store and pull through between FD and Subway. Then you'll be able to straight line back to the door.

This particular family dollar has had a sign up on their door for at least a week now saying "cash only" and they tell you it's because their computer systems are down but then continue to post numerous signs inside the building that they also want exact cash/change. I have had to walk away and take my business elsewhere numerous times. I will continue to do so but I don't understand how you can conduct business this way. It wouldn't be such a huge deal I suppose if it weren't for the added attitude you receive from the staff. (Mind you I frequent this store and usually have enjoyed it)

I understand that stores want to close early due to the pandemic. But when you have a sign on the door that says you close at 8 PM then lock your door at 8 pm est. Went to the store tonight and they had locked their doors at 7:45 pm. The cashiers we're rude when I brought this to their attention. Stated I would be calling their Corporate Offices and was told who cares, Corporate does not control us. The staff here are rude and have no concept of what customer service means.

It wasnt bad but it just made me laugh that they have a sign up that says you cant enter without a mask and I saw about 5 people come in and go shopping without one. As well as an employee had one around their chin. Besides that service was good.

This is a great local store. The shelves are always stocked. The employees are friendly, the prices are good and the sales are great.

Store is not very clean. Hardly any medicines on the shelves. Had to stand and wait like 5 mins for somebody to get to the register so I could pay for my stuff.

The one in Elkton is a really good place to shop really nice people stores is really clean the one in Shenandoah is getting really bad you can't even get down the Isles carts everywhere can't walk nowhere to get what you need I go to Elkton anymore a whole lot better of a Dollar General

Store was VERY cluttered and disorganized. Cashier at check out wasn't friendly at all, she acted like I was a bother when I asked a question about a product display on the exterior of the store... don't think I will be back to THiS one!

I usually don't shop there. Their app works really good and if you use the coupons on the app on Saturday with the $5.00 it saves you money.

Definitely will not be coming back into this store the what I assumed was the manager she had red hair was talking inappropriately to her associates saying that everyone calls her hitler and as she was walking out she asked if her associate was going to solute her 😡
