Fabulous vet office. They are very responsive and always take great care of my kitties. And such nice people! They send out text/email reminders when our pets are due for a visit or vaccine update. We have been taking our animals to Earlysville Veterinary hospital for over 20 years, the staff there has always been so friendly and supportive and very knowledgeable about the best treatment for our pets. Our dog Molly recently had to have surgery to remove a tumor, and the doctors there were great! They took such good care of her! We would highly recommend Earlysville veterinary hospital the staff and doctors there will provide excellent care for all of your pet'sM. Wood

I have a golden retriever,She started breathing heavy and drinking a lot.I knew that was diffrent so I call the vet I was seeing for the 3 years my golden has been alive.I explained to them what was going on.Well they didn’t think it was an emergency so they told me they could see her on Saturday at 12:00 was the earliest.Well this was Sunday which meant I would have to wait almost a full week.So I went on line to earlysville animal hospital and filled out an appointment for Wednesday.Monday when they opened they called me and said ya know we think she probably needs to be seen we have an appointment today if you can make it.Well of course I did.Im glad I did because there is something wrong and they started her on antibiotics right away and still have further testing.But as a pet owner you know when something is wrong with your pup.And for my vet to make me wait a week and not take her as an emergency and a vet (Earlysville animal hospital)to take her as an emergency the next day showed how much they care and respect what the owner says.As test results came in they called me with the results and explained to me what it meant and what the next step would be.Needless to say I will remain a client of theirs for all of my dogs.They are very understanding and compassionate.I highly recommend.

My dog was in need of her allergy shot. It was Saturday morning and she was suddenly scratching like crazy. They worked her in for which I was very grateful. My dog was grateful as well not having to itch until Monday! Everyone is always helpful and friendly

It's very hard to find a vet that still cares more about the animals than the money. Earlysville made it super clear from the first visit that the entire team's 1st priority are the animals. Super sweet and friendly staff too! I just moved here and one of my dogs found themselves to have a little emergency; Earlysville was able to see her the next morning. I wouldve had to wait until next week or spend a lot more money at a 24hr emergency vet up in NJ. I'm very thankful for Earlysville and I cant wait to bring my other fur babies here. :)1st picture at the vet, my girl enjoying her cheese!! 2nd picture of her in general :)

I’m just going to drop the email I sent earlysville vet below in quotes because of how incredible my experience with them was. If you have a protective, nervous, or shy dog, they accommodate for it all!They even have an app where you can schedule appointments, have helpful information, and your dogs information. They think of it all!I cannot compare them to other vets because they are leagues ahead on compassion, kindness, care, service, expertise, and efficiency.Email I sent to them:“You have all been far too kind!Please tell Becky and Dr. Thompson that I am so grateful for the kindness and accommodations they provided for our dog Cholula.I have always said that Cholula would trade me for food in a heart beat but I’m pretty sure she would trade me for Becky because of how patient and loving Becky was with her lolThank you for such a wonderful experience and I am so grateful to have been referred to you all! I’ve gone to EAH for decades! Even though it’s a ride to the country for me and my dogs, the service is worth it! I’ve seen all the vets, and they are all amazing! Title: Poor Communication and Fake Diagnosis for ProfitRating: ★★☆☆☆I recently had an unfortunate experience with this veterinary clinic, and I feel compelled to share my concerns. My cat had an appointment at Earlysville on October 6th, and we did not choose her, the receptionist said that I could not bring her to see any dr except dr Vicky, who is unfortunately so dishonest.All that we expect, is that a Professionally Licensed Veterinarian will not falsely claim that our cat urgently needs to have 3 teeth extracted, when our cat does not. I am so worried that other clients have or will believe Dr. Vicky and or the other dishonest vets at this client, and put their beloved pets into surgeries that they don't need. I believe that must be unethical. I took my Cat Angel to see Dr. Vicky at Earlysville on October 6, 2023 and I was very surprised, when right in front of me at the exam, she barely even looked at my cat's mouth, and then she drew up an estimate for $1200-$1700 for up to 3 teeth to be extracted, even though my cat is not experiencing any dental issues. My cat we adopted through the ASPCA in 2019, and the vet we took her to in 2019 and 2022 said that Angels gums and teeth were perfect. I have medical records to prove this. And then, after using my own intuition to determine that there was something 'not right' with Dr. Vicky, the office staff at Earlysville Decided to throw us out of their practice, rather than deal with these mounting legal and ethical issues. No, Earlysville Animal Clinic does not apologize when they make such a disastrous mistake, they throw you out. What they do is, they cancel your login to their client protal, and mail you all of your dog's RXs for the year, so that they can refuse to talk to you or see you in Future.Last week, I took my Cat Angel for a wellness visit at another Vet in Charlottesville, because I really do care about my Cat. My cat was deemed to be in very good health, the report being similar to what we received about Angel from other veterinarians in 2022. So for now, it is safe to say that Earlysville Vet Clinic is lying, and oh boy, you better not call them out for lying. As then they will throw you out.Even though my dog had seen Dr. Carbonell, they instead told me I had to make an Appt with Dr. Vicky, because of her cats preference. When this became a problem, was when Kellie called to argue with me about this, and she said that I had made the appt with Dr. Vicky for my cat because of the “day of the week” which is false. The reason why Earlysville Animal Hospital can see you "at short notice" is because so few clients sadly come back, they have a retention issue. Based on our experience, most of these people who write goods reviews about Earlysville Animals Hosp. must be friends and family members who post positive reviews about earlysville vet.Forced Exit, Fake Diagnosis and Future Concerns:What baffled me even more was the abrupt dismissal from the clinic for no apparent reason. I had paid my bills promptly and politely, expecting to receive the necessary care for my pet. However, the way I was treated left me with unresolved concerns regarding my pet's health.In the end, my experience was marred by rude behavior, poor communication, and false diagnosis and uneeded surgieries for cats & dogs. Dr. Vicky and the rest of the team, ought to be investigated for the protection of their clients loved ones. I hope that others will be reporting Earlysville Animal Hospital to the Commonwealth of Virginia as well.

We have been going to Earlysville Animal Hospital for a little over a year now after experiencing a less than ideal vet in Cville right after our move to this area. The level of care the staff shows is above and beyond & it is clear why this vet is loved by so many locals. The rooms now post-renovation are some of the nicest I've seen ever with a dog-friendly couch, windows, and a scale right there so your pet doesn't need to be lead through a dog-filled waiting room to get weighed like in most vets. They have thought of every detail to make the experience less stressful on both the pet and their owner. Unlike at our first local vet, the vet at Earlysville always spends time to personally address any concerns you have. If you aren't taking your pet here, you are missing out! Ten stars for the staff - stay amazing!!

I have taken my dog Montana there for years. I had to have my baby euthanized last Saturday after a few weeks of cancer they treated Montana with the greatest of respect her last day was filled with compassion I will always take my animals to earlysville because of the care the Dr's and staff provide. We are new to the area but friends raved about the level of care. Our female Golden was showing signs that she may have scratched her eye playing in the tall grass. We called and were thrilled they could see us that same day. The person on the phone said “We don’t like to wait when eyes are involved”. They took amazing care of her and were so friendly and caring. I knew when we went back for a recheck that we had found our new vet because when they came to get her from the car, she trotted off like she was perfectly comfortable.
