Only woman-owned vineyard we have encountered so far in the area! Smaller vineyard and tasting room but the wines were decent and the service was phenomenal! I absolutely loved the views of the mountains as well! Not quite on the highest mountain but you can see larger mountains in the autumn panorama.

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Chisholm this past weekend. We tried the wine and chocolate pairing and it was spectacular! There was plenty of space for our toddler to run around outside. We will be back soon!

This is such a joyful place with extreme positive energy. Traveled from upstate NY to visit family and spent a few hours here tasting wines (even though because of an event they weren't doing tastings...super sweet hostess!), listening to music, enjoying food truck pizza, and sipping a delicious brut that I highly recommend!

Beautiful smaller venue with open fields and outdoor seating. Very kid and dog friendly. Wine flight is the way to go to get a feel for the various options they have. Not a ton of indoor seating if it’s cold out but otherwise a great spot near the airport just outside Cville

Chisholm is hands down one of my favorite wineries in the Charlottesville area. It’s just an added perk that it’s 2 miles from my home. All of their wine is top notch, there isn’t a single one I dislike. & To top off their amazing wine they have beautiful views, the cutest tasting room and all of the employees there are so sweet.

Came here on a cold and windy Saturday to sample the wine. When we arrived, the staff immediately brought out fake sheepskins for us to place on the chair to sit on, helping warm us up. The staff also brought out our flights and even a dog bowl for our dog. They were super accommodating and very nice!We loved the wine as well. The flights were $20 each, two types with four wines each: a red/white and a red. We plan on coming back once it warms up.

A couple of my friends and I visited the winery two weeks ago today after a long Saturday at work and we had the best time! The Rose is really good and not too sweet. The wine is really very refreshing. The gentleman that assisted us was fast and super helpful. He also split the two bottles of wine for us on three credit cards, which was really appreciated. The views are pretty and the back deck area is under vines/lights. It was beautiful. We had a wonderful time and will be back!

Very relaxing space...got a rose slushy which was delicious. Beautiful canopy to sit under and enjoy wine and cheese.

Beautiful and peaceful. This is a smaller vineyard with wine tasting and a variety of cheeses and crackers that appease the pallette. It's a location to experience and enjoyed.

Wonderful local culture, Chisholm has this COVID safe-op down pat. The space is beautiful, I felt safe this place that obviously cares about the friends and family they host. The property is expansive and you are encouraged to investigate, as you should, every angle is breathtaking.Music, kids laughing, dogs drooling smiles, and humans interacting...oh, did I mention the wine? Go taste it all for yourself. It feels like home.

Hidden gem among the local wineries. Particularly kid friendly, especially during October when they offer hay rides, a corn maze, and pumpkin patches ripe for picking.

Really enjoy coming here with the kids! You can bring your own picnic or there are frequently food trucks. Family and dog friendly. A great spot!

My husband and I had a great time at this winery! We brought our own snacks and there was plenty of outdoor space (covered and uncovered). The wine was good and the scenery was beautiful, but the best part was the service. The hostess welcomed us, served us, and made sure we had everything we needed. She even gave us plate and utensils for the food we brought, put ice in our cooler (for our leftovers - we’re from out of town), and gave us dinner suggestion. That hospitality will bring us back for sure!

Great wine made mostly in a French style. The Chardonnay and brut sparkling wine are especially good. The grounds are beautiful as well and they are open late on Fridays during the summer.

Jazz band was great. The wine was amazing! They have great outdoor seating arrangements with a pavilion and pergola. Will definitely visit again. Bring your dog!

one of the women who was there was very sweet, the other came out when we had eight (8) people in our group (not the required amount for a reservation, which is ten (10)) and immediately began to tell us we should have made one even though we didn’t have that amount of people mind you she also said “it gets busy on fridays” and it wasn’t even friday, it was thursday, and the it was utterly empty. and when the feelings were expressed that we didn’t feel welcome she said “that’s wrong, you’re heard but that’s irrelevant” have you ever, ever in your life, had a conversation with a customer? The owner of my buisness would never respond like that, because being an owner doesn’t give you an excuse to not take accountability. <3

Fun, quaint, kid and dog friendly. We really enjoyed the chill atmosphere. They have music friday nights apparently and a food truck. But it's bring your own food on the weekend

Very accommodating! We had friends visiting from DC for a day and because of COVID-19 we didn't feel comfortable to be at our house. Chisholm Vineyards was very accommodating and we had our little get together there. Even though they were busy getting ready for an event, they still managed to attend to us. Staff were wearing masks at all times and practiced social distancing. Also, most importantly, their variety of wine are delicious. We had the Chardonnay which was very refreshing and their Red blend called "Gigi" was my favorite!

The best part of this vineyard is the incredible views and sunsets. The wine is great too. I highly recommend the Farmers Reserve if you like bold reds, but you really can't go wrong with any of their selections. They seem to always have music and a food truck with great eats. It's a $5 cover when they have music. There's plenty of parking and room to spread out.

I visited the vineyard with a small group of friends and had a wonderful time. We brought small dinner foods and had a wonderful lunch with a great tasting to go with it. The wines were tasted were superb and it was all very reasonably priced. If you enjoy wine or are even just in Charlottesville for a visit, this is a stop worth making.

Went on Friday night. They have started $5 per car cover. Music was good, but they took lots of breaks. Parking is horrible. They changed the lot, so very little parking up front. We had to go way out on a dirt road and walk back. The path had lots of ruts from the rain. Wine was good so that helped. We had a Chardonnay and the sparkling Rose.

Beautiful scenery and lovely staff. Since we visited during Phase One, no tastings, but the chilled Rose was perfect on a hot summer afternoon. And their attention to cleanliness and distancing was much appreciated. Looking forward to returning to try more selections.

Band was very good. It was a very hot evening with bright sunshine. Wish they could come up with a way to shade the dance floor in the late afternoon. Vine covered patio and tables was tolerable but a fan would really help. Think the wine was too expensive.
