We had a great experience here yesterday. It was our first time, and we enjoyed the sangria flight and breadcuterie, both of which were excellent. Very friendly service, that was attentive but we didn’t feel rushed at all. Will definitely be back!

Just happened upon this place and glad we did. It was a great place. We did the sangria tasting & each came garnished. We had the crab cake which came with two kinds of pickles. We also had the garlic spread & bread which was awesome. Not dog friendly indoors but may be ok with outdoor seating. Great staff, very friendly chef. We will definitely go back there.

Do not skip. This unassuming Winery nestled in the Va Chesapeake Region is an absolute must see. The wines really shine with their simplicity. We have been to countless vineyards and wineries while camping and this one has some of the finest we have ever had. All the varieties taste different and great.The bread and cheese board had a wide range of flavors to compliment the different styles of wine. Their homemade pickles add a wonderful sharpness to compliment the wines perfectly. Don’t assume that the cinder block surroundings mean lower class. This is a top notch winery that should not be missed.

Heading to Gwynn Island, popped in on a lark, and so happy we did. A nice menu of different wine tasting options, and bunches of tasty looking food to pair up. We were going to Gwynn to eat, so we passed,on the yummy looking food, but thoroughly enjoyed our flight. So absolutely unique in the presentation, and all were very tasty. Loved the decor, the barrel slats for the seat backing was the coolest. Just a very fun little winery

I really enjoyed my time here; the bartender was very accommodating, friendly, and knowledgeable. Unlike most wineries that I have visited with light fare offerings, Zoll has a robust, savory & hearty food menu, including several dessert options for sweeter pairings. Late hours (Wed-Sun, noon-8pm) make this venue an attractive "must-see" on the Gloucester-Mathews County line during your weekend getaway.

This is a gem! We were surprised to find an amazing chef with an outstanding menu in rural Virginia. We could not try the wines this time but not alcoholic drinks were delightful and service was superb! We will be back

I stopped by with my mom for lunch and a tasting. We were so impressed! Food was absolutely delicious (even for my gluten and dairy free diet). Mom had the sangria flight and loved it (definitely a good choice for those who like sweet flavors). I had the fall flight and enjoyed the cider and meads. I'm so excited to come by again!

Zoll is truly a hidden jem. I had the sangria flight and absolutely recommend. Each sangria was wonderfully flavored and tasted just as described. Lunch and dessert were also amazing. The owner, a chef, and our server were absolutely phenomenal and made a point to get to know myself and my friend. They went above and beyond to provide the best experience. The food is authentic and they use family recipes that are very impressive with lots of accents to the food. This was my first time and will certainly not be the last! My favorites were the the grilled cheese and cannolis. So good and such sweet service.

Truly enjoyed our visit today with Jen, Brandy and Regina! They made us feel welcome and explained the wine as well as the food menus. The wine flight was delicious 🍷😋 We had to join the wine club! The atmosphere was delightful. We will be back really soon.

More than your typical local winery. We’ve been to countless wineries in Virginia and Zoll Vineyards definitely offers not only fine wine, but unique and interesting menu items that we love, including a pimento waffle grilled cheese! Best Sunday after church stop for us every time! Thanks to the friendly staff for always making us feel welcomed and appreciated. Our absolute favorite is pairing the red wine flight with the dessert sampler. A must try!

We tried their wine at a wine festival and knew we had to visit to try more.We absolutely love their sangria flavors. The Pineapple Strawberry Lemonade, Spiced Blackberry, and Chocolate Strawberry Sangrias are all amazing.They have a nice selection of food as well. I had the Dutton and my husband had the Muffaletta and we both really liked them. The deserts were amazing! I had the crème brûlée and he had the cannoli.

We first tried their sangrias at Yorktown Farmers Market Days, and oh my! My spouse and I promised ourselves that we'll be visiting their vineyard in the near future. We were impressed by their service, wine and food quality. Everything was DELICIOUS! We even got to meet Frank, the owner, again! Thank you, Regina, for your wonderful hospitality. We can't wait to come back again! 💛

First time visiting. We decided to sit outside because the weather was so nice. I think it would help if they had music playing. Even a speaker would have helped. It was extremely awkward sitting in silence with other people. They actually come to you outside and I feel like that’s a little over kill and very slow. They could have people order at the bar and then bring stuff out to them. I saw a group of people leave because they never got helped. The wine was delicious and the workers were nice. In closing, add some music and do the employees a favor and don’t do full service outside. Leave that to inside only…I feel like patrons would be happier.

Excelent wine! Delicious food! Fantastic service! This place is a gem!Visiting from Richmond and stopped in for a drink because it was dog friendly.Was pleasantly surprised at the creative menu. The chef is very talented!We sampled the white and red flights and really enjoyed all of the wines. Which is rare for us.And the staff was extremely friendly and welcoming. Will definitely come back!!

I want to love this winery because it's close to my house and it seems to have a good vibe. This is my second visit where we had to work to get served, and they are consistently out of food items. The spring cider flight really wasn't impressive--some of the wines had a cough syrup taste to them. My friends never received their food and I was nearly charged for a cheese plate I didn't order. I liked that they had the animal adoption event with vendors but disappointed that the staff was not available to handle the crowd.

Pretty nice place with a wide variety wine, meade, and cider. On our visit we tasted 2 ciders (apple, cranberry), 6 wines (2 white, 1 rose, 3 reds), and 2 meade's (blueberry which is carbonated, pumpkin traditional). The cranberry cider was unique, pretty dry, but really good overall. The best wine, to me, was hands down the reserve cab franc. The carbonated meade is the only I've tried that I've liked. Overall a nice place with very friendly people so well worth the stop if you're in the area. They're pretty good for only having been open for a year.

This place is definitely worth the visit! The owner and winemaker is also an excellent chef. He has a diverse menu, and I highly recommend the smoked salmon rolls and key lime pie!

Feb 4 — we drove an hour to get here, and they were closed. I called, and the owner said the website said it was closed. No, it did not. It only gave a closing for Jan 29. We will never come back.
