Pros: Good good, warm southern hospitality, great price for the amount of food you get.Cons: service is slow, portions got smaller, there's usually a wait since so many people come here to eat.Still a nice place to eat that's easy on your wallet.

As a franchise, I generally enjoy eating at Cracker Barrel Restaurants, but the food at this location was not good. We ordered chicken tenders, chicken and dumplings, and a French toast breakfast. From cold coffee and cold, chewy fried okra to unappetizing tasting gravy, none of us enjoyed our meals. It was okay at best. The employees were polite and the service was pretty good. We dined on a week night and it was not busy at all so, I can’t understand why the food wasn’t better. Maybe it’s better at lunchtime? I do not recommend this location.Parking: The parking lot is pretty dark at night. It could use some lighting to make it a safer space.Kid-friendliness: They allow kidsWheelchair accessibility: The location is wheelchair accessible

Seated immediately, but it took 10 minutes for our waiter to come and greet us. It was supposed to be a male waiter, but he was tired and unable to come to greet us, so another waitress took it upon herself to do his table(though she too was exhausted). This was due to many of the managers' workers calling out/leaving early after a long day.. this day was Family Day for Quantico graduates, so many of the families came to eat here, took up the whole restaurant, luckily we arrived as they were leaving. Overall, perfect service, from the waitress, but let's say avoid if you know it's family day.Feel bad that due to family day, it killed the Waiters energy. They seemed so tired they forgot a few things about the order, but immediately corrected it, almost immediately. From the restaurant being so full prior to arrival, they couldn't even remove all the plates from many tables.

Different crowd than in the times before. I was aware that I was older than the majority of the customers. A younger and louder group than before, so be aware if you are noise sensitive. The food is still very good and the service beyond reproach for the numbers that they were serving. They have apparently added the ability to pay by QR code. Not sure when this happened, personally I would have recommended NFC tags for the table linked to POS tablets for ordering. (Yours at no charge this time Cracker Barrel). Even with inflation the value remains. Pay them a visit soon.

I love this place! Food was delicious, our waitress Trinh was hospitable and kind and BEN, the 16 year old cashier we paid our bill to was OUTSTANDING!! As a school teacher, I don't know the last time I have seen such a kind and knowledgeable person his age. Please give him a raise!!! I love seeing young people with good customer service skills!

Our server, Marcus, was very lovely. Great customer service and very professional. He made our experience great.We waited for 35 minutes to get our food however everyone that arrived after us received their food before we did. Some people finished and left before we were served. The people at the table next to us commented on how long we had to wait.

Usually good meal with good service at Dumfries, VA. Do not go at shift changing time. I was seated at 5:45 and wanted the early dinner special. I was ignored for 7 minutes. There were several tables waiting for their food and only 1 wait person. Finally I was greeted and I Asked what time is it? I've waited about 10 minutes. She told me she wasn't notified that I was seated. She brought my water and dinner shortly after -- but didn't return to check on me. Until I had finished and sat looking my phone and then she came with the check. Good food but really disappointing service around 6 pm on a Thursday.

I recently visited this Cracker Barrel branch, and I must say, I was quite disappointed with the cleanliness. The tables were not up to the usual standard. My table had noticeable jam stains on it, and even the menus had similar stains. It's important for a restaurant to maintain a clean dining environment, and this experience fell short of my expectations.I understand that busy restaurants can have their moments, but cleanliness is something I value when dining out. It not only affects the overall experience but also speaks to the restaurant's standards.I hope they can address this issue promptly because I've always enjoyed the food at Cracker Barrel. However, the recent lack of attention to cleanliness has given me some reservations about returning.

We enjoyed an excellent meal at cracker barrel today. Her server was attentive and quick to offer suggestions. All the staff were covid compliant. The food was prepared quickly and delivered hot. Everything was excellent. Lots of unique items in the country store section. They were very busy but they were keeping up with everyone today.

So I came in alone at a time when there hadn't been a lot of people in there so I decided to sit and eat. I was seated a section with 2 other tables, one with one person seated and another with a whole family. I watched the waitress in this section help these 2 tables. But she made eye contact with me and then looked away. I tried to be patient because I know that sometimes there may be another waiter/waitress that may be handling my table. I waited for another 5 minutes (10 minutes had passed total before I got any attention), and I saw another couple behind me who was seated and immediately serviced. By this time, I'm irritated because I'd made eye contact with 2 waitresses (one with green hair and a black female) who both looked at me and looked away. Finally, after about 11 minutes, a black waiter came to take my order. Mind you, there was no one there. They weren't busy. I asked to speak to the manager and they were convientantly on the phone. I waited about 15 mins before someone came out by the name of Jeff. I voiced my grievances with him and let him know that I would be reporting this. I felt like they may have judged me based on my appearance as I was dressed comfortably. I'm really big on customer service and they definitely did not deliver. I'll never come back to eat here. I've been bringing my family here for years, and I'm disappointed.

Cracker Barrel never disappoints! This restaurant consistently delivers delicious comfort food and friendly service. From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with that warm, homey atmosphere that instantly makes you feel welcome. The menu offers a wide variety of classic Southern dishes, and everything I've tried has been flavorful and satisfying. Whether it's their hearty breakfasts, mouthwatering country-fried chicken, or their famous biscuits, I always leave Cracker Barrel with a smile on my face. If you're in the mood for some good old-fashioned comfort food, this place is a must-visit. Five stars all the way for the food and the speed of service could be a bit better!

We just closed on our new🏠 home 🙌🏾 Yay! After signing all those papers we were a lil hungry😄 so we decided to go to Cracker Barrel for a small celebratory meal as it was nearby and we hadn't been there in long time. Excellent Choice! The food was very, very yummy (Cooked County Style 👍🏽So Good~Especially the Fried Chicken! 🍗 💖😋We'll be back soon!❣️Thank you Cracker Barrel Team❣️

The food is ok but they changed the breakfast menu. It was so simple before, pretty much any breakfast entree came with the same sides. Now sides are limited and different depending on which entree you order. Plus now they charge for basic condiments like jelly for the biscuits. The only reason I liked CB breakfast was they used to serve large portions with all the fixings included. Now they nickle and dime their customers. It's time to find another go-to breakfast place because I'm done with CB.

My husband and I were traveling for a funeral from Savannah Georgia and had our dog with us. We didn’t want to leave her in the car so I googled what I thought was this Cracker Barrel and ordered food for curbside. After about 30 mins I went in to check on the food and they didn’t have my order. I was confused and upset and didn’t understand and asked for my money back. When I checked the address and location I was wrong. I had ordered my food for another Cracker Barrel 40 mins away. We had no idea where we were and that store location was too far to go to. In my ugly tears and embarrassment I apologized to the store for asking for my money back and not having my order. I explained to them what happened and they could not be more understanding. They took and made our order so quickly and apologized to ME when they didn’t need to. I had made the mistake. They discounted my food and even gave me a card for a free meal the next time. They were amazing and very kind to us. I have never been to a business and had people be so kind and accommodating when the customer was wrong. I used to work for Cracker Barrel many years ago and knew they were great people but this Cracker Barrel staff went above and beyond. Thank you so much for being such great and understanding people. The two at the cashiers desk, the management and kitchen staff all deserve a pat on the back. More people and businesses should strive for this sort of kindness. We really appreciate you.

Waited about 35 minutes to be seated after being told the wait would be 25. Not a big deal, but it is very busy on Sundays. Lots of stuff to buy in here great for snack gifts and things, but most things you can find elsewhere. Service took a while, but the server we had and the whole crew of servers were not only nice and kind, but attentive to our needs which was greatly appreciated. Prices here are always decent. The food was okay, but it seems like it sitting around a little due to it being busy. The gravy was congealed and the grits were a little cold.

This chain doesn't normally come to mind as a top choice for me, but the opening time and location were just right for breakfast before work. The restaurant was clean and quiet. The server was attentive and pleasant, and kept the coffee mug full. The food was out in a reasonable time. I tried something that appeared new to me: Homestyle Chicken n' French Toast, I liked the combination and thought it was just the right amount for a good breakfast.Parking: Easy in and out, plenty of spots for cars and large vehicles.
