My kids and I had a fantastic time! Garrett and Matt were wonderful and incredibly knowledgeable. We spent hours petting and interacting with all types of reptiles while Garrett and Matt told us interesting facts about all of them. We never felt rushed and had all the time we wanted with the animals. It was very intimate and fun for adults and kids alike. It’s hard to find customer service as great as theirs in this day and age. Would highly recommend to all, especially to those who are looking for a fun and educational activity to do with their kids.

I wish I could give more than 5 stars! Rachael and Matt Butler with Bobby G. Pets are incredible! We hired them to come and do a school wide assembly at our elementary school in Ashburn, VA and they knocked our socks off! They are professional, kind, patient, passionate, educated, and committed. They make the experience fun for the kids while keeping it safe for the animals, their pets. It was an incredible experience for the students to learn about reptiles in a controlled environment and have the opportunity to pet them. Since Covid, we have not had in person events like this. Their visit brought back so much magic for our students and it will be remembered and talked about all school year long! I would highly recommend them for events or just a visit to their location in Dulles Town Center mall.

Came here for the first time today with my son and we had a blast. Amazing owners who are very friendly and knowledgeable. Very fair admission cost and great selection of reptiles. I recommend bringing your kids here, they'll have a great time.

We had our daughter's 8th birthday party here and I cannot recommend Bobby G’s more highly! The kids were fascinated and even the adults were engaged. Everyone at the party walked away saying what a cool experience it was. The reptile show was high energy and informative, and they even made me feel comfortable enough to hold the snakes! We will definitely be back!! Thanks for a memorable birthday!

This place deserves much more than 5 stars! My daughters and I randomly stopped in while shopping in the mall. My 9 year old saw a party flier and decided she wanted her birthday party here. We are so glad we decided to do it! This was by far the best birthday party to date! Matt and Rachel were so pleasant, patient and extremely knowledgeable on every animal. The kids had a blast and learned so much! This party will be hard to top and we will definitely be recommending to all our friends! Thank you Matt and Rachel for giving my daughter the best birthday party!

When my seven year old grandson awoke this morning, knowing that today he was going to the Bobby G Reptile Petting Zoo, he said it was the best day of his life. After our visit, he told his father that the day was even better than he imagined. In planning our visit, they were very quick to respond, and they were thorough in all of my many questions about what to expect. The staff were very knowledgeable and friendly. I am a retired school teacher, so I was impressed at how Bobby G was able to read the children in his audience, keep their attention, yet command respect for the animals being presented. He thoroughly explained his expectations for behavior and why the animals needed the people petting them to behave such. They even made my snake hating husband comfortable enough that he pet a snake himself. I am sure we will be making many more trips to this fantastic petting zoo for anyone who loves snakes and reptiles, and even those who don't.

Bring your kids, spouse, friends, whoever! This place is loads of fun! Stopped by with my family and it was a wonderful experience. Matt was awesome! He had a few different customers at the store and he made sure everyone was included in holding/petting any of the reptiles that was requested. He was extremely hospitable and we will definitely stop by again!

I recently had my daughter's 8th birthday party here and it was a phenomenal experience. My daughter actually said it was the best birthday party she's ever had and I believe it. I'm not sure we can ever top this experience and we will definitely be back! It's extremely educational with a "trip around the world" to learn about animal habitats, eating preferences, and many other interesting facts. The kids were able to handle the lizards and snakes and they could even hold a giant boa constrictor at the end - it was SO memorable to all of the kiddos and adults that attended! Rachael and Matt were so patient and knowledgeable and there is a huge variety of reptiles that the kids learned about. There were kids that attended that were shy or scared of snakes and by the end every single person that attended the party (both kids AND adults) were excited to hold each and every reptile that came around. It was such a joyous time and everybody left there happy and promising to come back. I even had a few parents tell me later that their children want to have their birthday parties there - it was that incredible. I would like to thank Rachael and Matt for such a wonderful experience and let them know that WE WILL BE BACK!! If I could give 10 stars, I would!!!

Matt and his reptiles were absolutely amazing! He was informative, fun, energetic and just incredible in every way. The kids and adults were hypnotize the minute he started talking about and showing off all of his incredible animals. They are clearly well loved, beautifully taken care of and the knowledge, enthusiastic, kind approach put even the most snake a nervous person at ease. Bobby G Pets would be outstanding for absolutely any party, school or any Group. I could not be more overjoyed and thankful to have found this amazing Business for my daughters eight year old birthday. Wow!! 10 stars!!

Bobby and Rachel were amazing hosts of our son’s 5th birthday party. All of the children and adults had so much fun seeing, learning about and touching their pets. Excellent presentation for the kiddos! Bobby was informative and engaging. He was patient and interactive with the children and showed genuine passion and care for his animals and his craft. Truly seems to be a man doing what he loves for a living. I highly recommend hiring Bobby G for a truly unique experience for your next occasion. Kid OR adult, it's a memorable way to make an ordinary evening extraordinary (if you are into reptiles and other cold-blooded critters!)

Matt knows his reptiles. He knows each of his pet's personalities and was eager to share his knowledge with us. He was so kind and generous. My kids want to go back every day.I wanted to edit this to add we had my son's birthday here. Matt and Rachel are amazing. They really are a family business. All of the kids (and adults) had a blast! The kids got up close with so many reptiles. Matt made sure every kid was comfortable before holding an animal to ensure the safety of the kids AND the animals. It was such a great experience. Thank you so much for making this a memorable party!!

We just had our daughter's birthday party here and it was everything you can imagine a little reptile lover would want. Matt was so thorough and animated explaining all the animals while Garrett assisted in passing around the animals to be petted. The way he informed these 5-9 year olds I think helped take away some of the fear and unknown hesitation because most kids came in saying they wouldn't touch it. By the end, every kid was asking questions, pet and held the animals. The grand finale was taking the kids up in groups to hold Stormy, the big python. The party was a hit and everyone had a lot of fun. They do not allow food there if you want to celebrate with cake afterwards, but the food court is a level above and short walk over. It worked out great. I would highly recommend wondering if they want to throw a party here to do it.

I have been to several reptile places like this for my son who loves reptiles. We have never been charged to hold and animal, much less per animal, which is what the pricing structure is here. They charged my son $30 to hold the large boa for 5 minutes on top of the entrance fee. This fee is not posted - their sign says $7 to hold animals, and there are no exclusions listed. If you want to hold any of the other reptiles, it is $7 for each animal.The tanks are also not set up properly for animal husbandry.

Clean, reptiles are well cared for and staff are knowledgeable about them. Patient with small grabby hands in educating them how to kindly and safely touch and hold. Our 5yr old loved it.

We recently held our son's 5th birthday party at the Reptile House and it was an incredible experience. The kids had such a great time and my son talked about it for days after the party. Matt and Rachael are wonderful people and they provide an exciting and engaging experience. I would highly recommend this place if you are looking for a unique party idea!

Awesome experience! I went with my 5 and 8 year old for a birthday party and they were absolutely captivated for over an hour. The host taught about reptiles in general, then specifically about each one while “traveling” to each continent where the different snakes, lizards, and tortoises they owned were from. You ease into the experience starting with tortoises and throughout the session there were opportunities to touch the animals in a controlled and safe way (but no pressure for those in their comfort zone). By the end, we had the boys holding a 70lb python!It is very well run, safe, clean, and engaging. It is family owned and operated - the host, his wife, and their son all have roles to perform and they work well together. The host is very passionate and captivating, channeling his inner Steve Irwin. Looking forward to returning!

Went for a 10th birthday party and the kids had a great time. All of the kids ranging from toddlers to high schoolers enjoyed the experience. Our hosts were engaging and knowledgeable which everyone enjoyed. The kids really liked being able to pet and hold the reptiles too. Highly recommend it for a kids bday experience.

My kids loved this place. They pet a bunch of the animals and we ended up coming back after lunch to see more. They are big animal fans and my oldest wants to work with reptiles when he's older. The staff were great with kids (mine are 4 and 6 yo), very friendly and knowledgeable about the animals, and allowed the kids to pick any animals they wanted to pet. They had quite a variety of animals to see as well.
