Prices in this Food Lion wer3 much higher than other locations. The overall appearance of the location was clean and well kept. I went on a day were they had shipment so that could have been the reasoning behind the isles being a little tight. Seems to have more organic options!

This particular location is never overly crowded, except for those hours when people are getting off of work or in the evening on Saturdays. The staff is awesome and very helpful if you can't find what you're looking for.

Great service at the deli counter. This is so important to me. I spend twenty dollars minimum per week on those deli items that are never pre-cut. Meat guy was pretty helpful about meat prices.

Never have a bad encounter at this Food Lion but this young girl cant remember her name but she was working on 12 check out 1 day ago gave me the most dirtiest look because I had a basket full of groceries. She said that was too much for her line. I had to go somewhere else that’s fine y’all need to get rid of her. So I went over the the older laddy that doesn’t mind working with the glasses and tip her 10 bucks for being nice and not complaining that I had to much in my basket shmmm this area sure is different form short pump I’m out here for work just remember how u treat people in life because u don’t know who that person is if u don’t want your job at food Lion quit

I mean I like food Lion but there not as cheap as Walmart I like there brand of cheap Mt dew and stuff like that but otherwise it's just to expensive

My go-to grocery store. Staff is always polite. Lines are never a pain. Always clean. I’d like to see more healthy options, like the bougie, organic items at bigger stores, but it’s Food Dog & I still love it.

This is a nice grocery store. They have awesome Mvp sales as well as weekly sales. It is located near pharmacies, gas stations and restaurants. They have great produce and a good selection of meats. They also carry personal items such as shampoo, body wash and other personal care items. They have rental steam cleaners for your carpets. I highly recommend this Food Lion.

Good clean store, friendly employees, plenty of registars open so no long lines. This Food Lion prices are really high. No competition close so they go high on prices. The BOGO free is a joke, they double the price of one so you still paying full price. You can get just about double at Wal-Mart gor the same money.

Pretty good customer service seems like they would have been more knowledgeable there wasn't much there to shop for but I guess overall that's the experience in a lot of places at this time. I just expected more because I had been there so many times before. Not a bad place though some people are great at customer service and some aren't.

No reception in store, manager is not helpful and often grumpy, turned lights out on me 30 min before closing, and they close one door as early as 9pm.I have to stand outside to communicate with anyone.Cashiers and stockers are nice.

This Food Lion was good. They had everything I needed. I would recommend they tell their employees not to go spinning brooms around lol... dust was flying off it. However, it looked like he was enjoying a night's work and I admired that. It is nice to see employees have a little fun. I did have to ask another customer where the bread was, he was able to tell me. Check out was swift.

My husband and I like there food lion better, there's more product, smells amazingly delicious as you come in the door, if you wasn't hungry you will be when you walk in.

This store was very clean. The employees were very nice and helpful. Several of the items I wanted were not in stock. The cashier was very pleasant. All in all a good shopping experience.

Used to be a great place. Here lately the meat is questionable. Expiration dates being a few days out yet it’s already dark brown. Employees on their phones and talking instead of doing their jobs. If you wanna run in and run out at night. You’re better off waiting til morning.

I read all reviews on this store and I wonder if I'm going crazy. This store isn't stocked well. Just about every aisle has empty spots. Today I went in later than usual. I'm a early shopper most days. Today I arrived around 2:15pm. Noticed different cashiers than in am. The young lady checked me out bagged my groceries placed them in the baggers area. She then took my money gave me my receipt and turned her back on me and started a conversation with another cashier. She never offered to put bags in my cart. The worst part is that I'm handicapped in both arms. One with a bandage the other is obviously not in great shape. She seemed more interested in talking about a jacket and trot on then giving good service. I will go to Dollar General or Family Dollar next time I need somethg and cant get to this store in the am. BTW I'm aware of the call in convenience however shouldn't they have those spots in back of lot not were handicapped parking should be.

They keep a clean store and some Employees are very friendly, but some are beyond rude. Prices are extremely high, but it is the only Grocery Store within a reasonable drive for a SMALL Grocery trip. If your traveling and reading this, don't waste your time. There are much better logical solutions less than 20 minutes away

We went today to pick up some necessities. I had the pleasure of dealing with cashier number 0150 at register #2 at noon. We left one of our perishables at the store and left. As we got to our vehicle and put our groceries in we noticed another store that was just opening so we went inside and of course kept in mind social distancing. This employee tracked us down somehow and delivered are missing item. That is what makes all the difference in the world during these times. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR BEING THERE FOR US ❤️!!!

The shopping experience was ok, however when I went to check out the young lady refused to speak to me when I said hello, thank you, and have a good day. As I loaded the bags into the cart she just threw the bags at me and was very rude. Maybe some employees should take a customer service course and I will give a more favorable review.

Stood in line at the Customer service for Almost 10 minutes only 2 people in front of me they were buying lottery tickets the Assistant Manager was the one at the counter. No one even spoke to me, the Assistant Manager wouldn't even look at me she turned her back to the register waiting for all the tickets to print. She said to another employee just walked in. That person went to the back of the store then came up front and took the managers place, she took the second lottery customer the Assistant Manager said excuse me as she walked passed me opening the swinging door. Then when it was my turn I asked my question and was told the person who would know that doesn't come in until 10. So I asked, doesn't the Assistant Manager know how to do it. Then she asked another employee and she said "Yes, but it's just such a busy day. We have inventory." I think that Food Lion should rethink their priorities. I have never gone to a customer service business where employees avoid eye or look right at you and don't speak. If the Assistant Manager does that what does that show the employees???

This food lion is probably one of my favorites. Even when it's busy the staff is always friendly and ask you if you need help. The staff on the front end is quick to get you out and on your way. One reason why my family and I continue to shop here.

My favorite food lion. Quiet, small, and normally ALWAYS has what I am looking for or a product similar. From reading reviews i see people complain and say they can go to walmart & they can, but you'll have to drive 30 mins out of the way if you're not headed north( Petersburg or Colonial heights)..40 mins if you wanna go south (south hill) or 35 mins to go west to the Blackstone Walmart. It is small town USA still down here and hopefully it'll stay this way.

It's the only grocery store in dinwiddie soooooo, take it or drive an hour.That said, it's a pretty good food lion. Not the best one I've ever been in but far from being the worst. They are pretty well stocked, and keep things on stock, the staff are friendly, and the store is always clean.

It is shocking it see that they are not mandating that their employees must wear protective face masks to protect their costumers. Do they really care so little about the safety of their costumers and staff? Also when asked about it, you can tell the cashiers know they should be following the recommendations of the CDC but management pushes them not to.

They definitely don't enforce the masks enough. Many people walk into the wrong labeled door and miss the opportunity for hand sanitizer and masks. I felt really uncomfortable when a man started coughing with no mask on and looked as if I was the issue. I definitely think they need to enforce the masks even more and I'm probably not gonna go back if they don't.
