My first and last visit. Almost every item I put in my basket was EXPIRED by months and I put it all back. The meats seemed fresh but I definitely was not risking it.

I really don't understand how the grocery store is still open because most of the shelves are bare. But they still do free slice their meat which I think is what everybody is doing goes there because of the meat department. The stores always freezing make sure you grab a jacket.

Just happened to stop in after passing through the area. The store was a small mom and pop establishment but well stocked. I was looking for some Global Delights Chittlings and man was I surprised to find them in this store. I looked in at least 20 other stores, so you can imagine my excitement. If you a fan of chittlings these are the best out there. And I've tried several different brands before stumbling across Global Delights.

It's in my family's tiny, home town, so it's a vital part of life for residents. I have a tiny house nearby, and while I could bring groceries with me when I come out, this store gives me a chance to revisit my childhood memories. On this occasion, the store was freezing cold which at first felt good with 100 degree heat indexes. By the time I left, though, I was shivering. The supply chain shortages across the country caused the normal bare shelves, but everything was organized neatly and the selection of fresh fruits and vegetables was sufficient. And as per in usual in a small town, the local meat selection was plentiful and indicative of an economy with lots of livestock. The reason I gave 4 stars instead of 3 is that they carry my favorite wine, Castello del Poggio Moscato AND two kinds of scrapple, pork and beef! Yummmmm

The staff here are all so friendly and go out of their way to assist you! The specials are very competitive and their meats are fresh and are offered in smaller packages. The meat department personel go above and beyond to cut and package the meat that best suits your needs.I've also got to praise the produce department. It is attractive and items are reduced for quick sale before they look bad. Pride is taken in arrangement of product.Even the cashier went out of her way to help and it is great having all the help with bagging and and they even offer to help take the groceries to my car.It is like finding a lost treasure in this little grocery store! Thanks to much for your service!

I was there in dillwyn for an event and decided to browse around Reids. Loved the products and the prices! Different grocery stores sell different brands therefore I absolutely loved this store. Every single person that was working there was so kind and nice and very helpful! I will definitely shop there again when I come to the area. Thank you everyone keep up the good work!

Reid's Super Save Market is known for it's meat department. The meats are well priced, fresh, and cut the way you want. It also has very nice priced fruits and fresh vegetables. Ample parking. Friendly staff.

I love this store. The meat dept cuts meats in several thickness there in the store. The produce is always fresh the greens I get in there I have not seen in other stores I love how the produce Dept will cut up some of the greens and the fruit they prepair making it easier for me in the kitchen plus when I want a strawberry shortcake or strawberry slices for ice cream sundaes I am able to get cut fruits that are nice and rip with flavor not hard and flavorless. Having my fruit sliced in the store makes it easier for me when I get home just grab a slice of watermelon or something else for me and the kids. The other foods I find I am so pleased to find things with more verify there may be a smaller amount of baked goods or other things but more then enough for me and the other people to get fresh pie or cakes and cookies and other things the prices are very competitive I feel I can stretch my money further shopping here being able to get Creasy greens or others I never see in the food Lion or other stores further away I feel it's like going to a farm market store but more variety in a air-conditioned store with nice polite employees a mom and pop feeling but still a commercial store. Not just the big chain store carrying the same thing.

Aways have shopped at Reid's since it opened!! I like supporting a local place, love the meat, but lately everything has not been going the same at Reid's no smoked country hams in for Thanksgiving hopefully you all get together and get the store back in order! thanks and God bless you all!!

The staff at Reid's Supermarket are always friendly and helpful! This is the only place (that I've found) in our area that sells the beef fat chunks I need for grinding up with deer meat.

Great meat and poultry selection. Butcher will cut what ever you desire. Produce not bad but needs improvements in certain areas. Good prices and services.

Very clean and compact, it's best department is produce, with a beautiful wide array of fruits and vegetables. The staff is very helpful and bend over backwards to get what their customers need.

They always have the best meats! I ate pork chops in the same week, one from Reids one from foodlion cooked it the same way! REIDS hands down is the winner everytime!

Not going to lie, I actually like this grocery store. Mostly because it's so quiet most of the time that you go in there. I know that's because they don't get that much business these days, but hey, I'll take it. I enjoy the peace and quiet when I go shopping.

The meat looks so much more fresher. The Seafood Roadshow was very disappointing. Open seafood on styrofoam trays on ice with open air for people to come in contact with.
