Fantastic experience! We stopped to check out the antiques but were pleasantly surprised by the history of the building itself. As an architectural designer, I was amazed to see the building in pristine condition for its age. Virtually nothing has been altered since it was built, from the supporting foundation to the tin roof! An amazing architectural example of its time! Inside the brick and plaster walls are covered in handwritten markings of when it was a freight storage depot. While there, we had the privilege of meeting and talking with the owner and partner of the store. Very sweet people. The building has been in her family from its beginning. They even renamed the town after her family name. If you’re interested in history, architecture, art, or antiques, this is a stop you must put on your itinerary.

There is lots of history in this building. This building use to be the railstop where the Confederates first boarded trains to the Battle of Manassas. It was also the hospital/morgue for some of those that did not survive the battle. Beyond the history, this shop has a fantastic assortment of antiques from china to furniture. The owner is a lovely person and is always happy to share the history of the area. Don't miss an opportunity to visit if you are in the area.

Excellent collection of antiques n rugs, paintings, furniture, smaller items. Love the old building n train stop. Easy access from main highway. For the discerning antiques hunter.

Worked there and know the work that goes into running the place .Getting in new things making sure there is space for every thing .The turn over of merchandise is more the one would expect .Always come back to see what's new !
