I visited a few weeks ago and I thought it was very clean and organized! I also thought that the valentine's day decor was super cute. The staff was friendly and available. Compared to other Walmart stores I've been in, this one was at the top of the list as being one of the best!

Nice clean store. I’ve been to this location 3 times now. On the first occasion, I was assisted by an associate by the name of LaMonica. She escorted me to the two locations that I was trying to find with a smile. But it seemed as though I was followed around the store by an overly large loss prevention specialist and by an opposite sized “mystery shopper” 🤔.On the second occasion, I headed straight to customer service. No issues. The associate was friendly.On the third occasion I required assistance with fishing licensing. I was greeted professionally and instructed that an additional associate would be by to help me. She arrived no more than 1 minute after the original associate called for her. Less than 7 minutes to get my license. Thank you very much. I’m going to go ahead and give the store 45 stars in spite of the negative: I am not a local so🤷🏿‍♂️ I’ll understand the extra eyes on me during my first visit.

Is a good place where you can find everything you need in one place, like medicine, clothes, electronics, toys, games, tires, bedding, crafts, groceries, meats, just to mention some, at good prices.

I never go to Walmart at home, but they really do offer just about everything to everyone. I went and picked up some beef today but was disappointed not to see any grass fed/grass finished beef on the shelves. There are so many farms in the area specializing in fully pasture raised, grass fed+finished beef that it seems like a real oversight on Walmarts part not to incorporate this into the meat offerings. 5 stars for hours and wide range of goods. 2 stars for meat quality (nice cuts, but grain finished beef).

Placed an order for pickup today. Picked up the order and left, stopped at Foodlion to pickup some items, looked at the order and it was wrong. Called in to let Walmart know, was asked if I was going to bring wrong order back to which I answered yes. Upon my return to Walmart to pick up correct order there were two other people that experienced wrong orders as well and had to bring them back. I realize this department is busy, but please double check orders and talk with your staff about taking time to make sure the right people get the right orders.

The employee in the self-checkout would not call a manager for assistance. I was trying to purchase something that was displayed as clearance on a whole end cap in lawn and garden and she wouldn't have the price adjusted. She said she could not adjust the price and the manager was too busy collecting tills to call him for help. This was around 10 pm in the Danville, VA Wal-Mart. I am flabbergasted at her absolute refusal to call the manager when I specifically asked for one! This is why I will grocery shop at Food Lion and buy other things online and at Target totally from now on. Terrible customer service.

The typical super poor, sometimes non existent, stocking. Online ordering is unusable! You will end up with expired food and rotten vegetables/fruit. Then some kid will throw groceries in your car smashing bread and damaging everything that can be! The customer service will hang up on you and refuse to help you. Never shopping at walmart again. I will buy my chinese products somewhere else!

Walmart no longer offers live support , couldn't understand agents when they did plus walmart claims no responsibility for items sold through their site. They give false tracking numbers and packages just disappear into thin air!!!! Tracking links fail and quit working altogether. Just close your doors and quit ripping people off. Forgot to mention....ANSWER YOUR DAMN PHONES!!!!!!!!!!!

I know times have changed in 20 years, but, I find myself saying everytime I go there, " why am I in here, they Never have what I'm looking for" but I keep trying. Sure wish the original Mr. Walmart would be reincarnated and come back and straighten the company out.

Hands down, this so-called "supercenter" has the worst customer service in Danville. I have given this store several chances in the past few months, but the result is the same. Incompetence at every level. Three strikes and you're out. I'll be taking my grocery business to the Nor-Dan location, and my non-grocery business anywhere else but here.

This is for the garden center I'm making my tropical plants delivery get to this store at 4.15pm how in the hell you don't have anyone at a Walmart that can drive a forklift stuck here until the morning Walmart you have to do better then this ruined my getting empty tomorrow thanks alot.

The majority of the cashiers here are really rude. Those that work stocking the shelves aren’t very happy to assist with finding items. I’m beginning to prefer shopping at Target since the store associates are friendlier.Update: 7/2/23 this place continues to go downhill. There are rarely carts at the entrance when I have been. Today there were three different families that had to return to the parking lot to find their own shopping cart, my family also. Then, the store is messy and the scanner surface at self checkout is disgusting. It looks like no one has cleaned it in days! Additionally, there are storage boxes on the checkout counter leaving less space for the customer. See attached photos.

Typical Walmart areas of the store were not stocked and the shelves were empty. The Walmart shoppers were in the way and they act as if we the people in the store are an inconvenience. The one thing I find really stupid is that they have quit stocking the 16 & 20oz Red Bull.

Went to place an online order for pick up just to find out there is now $6.99 charge to PICK UP , not delivery or shipping but PICK UP your items !!!!! What the hell is Walmart thinking ????? CANT EVEN TALK TO A STORE BECAUSE RHEY NEVER ANSWER A PHINE !!!! GET IT TIGETHER GREEDY IDIOTS!!!!

Not only have they cut hours. Good luck finding any fresh produce, that paired with the nasty attitude you get from employees I will take my business and money elsewhere. This is the nasty they are selling, not to mention the yogurt that was 4 days past its expiration date and no one seemed to care.

I needed help in the painting department. Asked someone in automotive. Not able to help. Actually called in to the switchboard to ask them to page associate to paint since no one could be found. Still no one. When I finally received help, from automotive associate, the paint mixer was down. No mind you no one said, I'm so sorry, we are working on it for you. Or any communication, just me, there waiting at counter. I could continue with all these improvements of just Basic communication To the guest that would have made a huge difference. Truly, honestly, I would think it's common sense.

I can understand why people prefer online shopping. It's more convenient and less stressful than visiting a big box store such as this. One would be lucky to find an available associate to help you (if they're willing). It would be helpful for someone present on the premises check the shelves for misplaced items. For example, I couldn't find a piece of door hardware in its designated section a week ago. On my latest visit, I found it "hidden" among other things in that same section.To be honest, each visit to this establishment varies-sometimes it's pleasant (especially in the morning), sometimes it's not. It's why I gave it this rating.

I love Walmart you can get anything at Walmart they have a money center they have a place that cuts hair and a place where they groom your nails and fingernails they have a restaurant there you can get anything you want at Walmart you can even get fishing license

There is plenty of room between isles to get around. They have everything! The place was well stocked on Black Friday @ 9:30AM. The staff was very helpful and eager to assist, even while busy restocking sales items! That's great service!
