The help is soo helpful and friendly, I usually go early in the morning and I appreciate a smile and the help.The lady at the front has helped me a few times when I was having a problem very nice and friendly.

Attentiive, friendly, helpful staff.The premises is always clean even though its almost always busy. They also have a gas station on site with competitive prices. You can also enjoy eating at one of the nearby restaurants or shopping at another nearby store.

Love the pharmacy and grocery pickup. Also the guy that works where the Ensures / Equate Protein Shakes is really nice and always asks me if I need anything every time I’m there. He’s a hard worker.

I thanked the self-check out woman named Marty for assisting me. She tried to steer me over to another checkout but I didn’t see a reason since I finally had Marty to assist me after waiting my turn in line and frankly didn’t want to go to another line after I had already waited in the one I was in. Like I said, I thanked her. Marty then became argumentative. Finally, she said out loud, and I quote, “I hope I don’t kill nobody.”I understand that employees get frustrated but I think I’m being fair in stating that this isn’t the type of thing even a frustrated employee should be saying in public to a customer.I would not call this place a friendly market because of employees like Marty and I hope Marty has a blessed day. I also hope that Wal-Mart has good insurance coverage in case any of their employees decide to act on their frustrations.

If I could give 0 stars, I most definitely would. Worked here and had nothing but difficulty with management. I loved working with all my fellow associates and easily got tasks done, however it seems to never be enough for the managers here. No matter what you do, complete, or how many positive remarks you get it is never enough for them. They will criminally underpay an employee and then expect them to complete the tasks of 4 different associates because they cant keep employees due to terrible managerial strategies. If you contemplate working here, just know you will have nothing but endless struggles with your managers.

I went through self check out and noticed that there was a salesperson who monitors the self checkout area. The people ahead of me were told “have a great day” by the lady monitoring the checkout area. When it was my turn and I had finished, she didn’t say a word to me and didn’t make any eye contact. Proper manners are for everyone, no one should be left out.

They ok. Would be better if the gas pumps at the neighborhood walmart gas station would pump faster. They pumping a gallon a minute, which is very slow. I've written this review before my gas got to 7 dollars. Thats really bad. Also how long does it take to give someone their prescriptions. I been sitting here too long with only one car in front of me. Imma keep taking stars

I went to the pharmacy 15 minutes before they closed to pick up an antibiotic for my son. Even though the doctor's office had just sent it in, they were able to fill it quickly.

Bought one of the smaller round birthday cakes and the coconut cream cake and both were disgustingly dry. Paid over $15 for both. Do better deli 🙄 Absolutely ridiculous.

This store is very convenient. But a lot of the time they never have what you need in stock. Their staff is very friendly. It would really be nice if the shelves would stay stock. Tonight I bought salad mix but I had to pick over several bag before finding a fresh bag.

I had a pickup order and a pickup time of 5pm - 6pm. I arrived at 5:05pm. I called the number on the pole and it went to voicemail. The guy came out and said they were working on the order. He came back out at 6:10pm and said it would be ready in 5 minutes. It is now 6:45pm and still no order! Under no circumstance will I ever use Walmart pickup again! I'll just go to Food Lion.

At this posting, I love the fact that it is open! Very happy! They do need open check outs lanes with a real person behind them at busiest times of the day. The store is clean,bright and people are super friendly. On a separate note. Handicapped parking is handicapped parking. It should be monitored better.The carts furnished for handicapped people are greatly appreciated. All stores that are welcome to older and handicapped customers in Danville should have at least one.

There's always a long check out line even during off peak hours. There's also always ALWAYS boxes in the way or large stock carts in the way. I feel like my shopping experience here is a bit like being in the 80s game frogger. The place needs to be stocked after hours so that customers don't have to dodge the heavy pallet carts. From a risk management perspective it is an accident just waiting to happen. Their produce never tastes good and their milk often has a funny taste. Don't expect any locally sourced items. Their bakery/deli department is mediocre but at least they have one. Great prices on processed foods though so you can certainly shop cheap here.

Everything was great. The prices are good. Food is decent as far as how well they take care of it whilst sitting on the shelf (produce, deli meats, etc.). This one lady just kept talking to us, like do your job and then go out and make some friends somewhere else. I didn't come to Wally's world to talk to you, I came here to shop for my food and ask Wally how cheap I can get my food. I wouldn't usually complain about this, but this was really something else. I mean... she can talk! Plus, she freaked me out because she was twitching and constantly staring through my beautiful soul with her beady little eyes like a crow. So all in all I think about not to let people affect my overall thought on places when I review and thus, if I could give 4.4 stars, I would've. I couldn't, so we roundin' down to a 4 star ladies and gents.

It's cleaner then super Walmart and they always have grocery carts inside the store unlike super Walmart because you can never find a cart at super Walmart on the inside

Go early as possible, this store does not practice 6 feet apart. If you go early you won't be bumped into. You also can shop in peace. The employees have their freight in the way all the time. I figure if they put freight out at night they wouldn't have all that in the customer's way. Just saying!

I avoided going here for quite a while after the initial opening, but I finally went and my first experience was awesome. The other Walmart messed up my prescription, and Walmart Neighborhood Market was quick to fix it and were super helpful in the pharmacy. When I went in, I was surprised to see how much they actually had for sale, more than just food items. And I completed the trip in half the time it would have taken in Walmart.

No problems except with their produce. A lot of times it's fresh and looks awful. Employees need to throw away molded an rotten produce. Would advise management to observe the produce department much closer and take charge of the store they manage.

This is a good neighborhood Walmart the bathrooms are pretty much always clean the employees are always professional and nice I may have ran across one that wasn't so pleasant but I won't let one ruin it for the others you know most of the time it's just that one anyway good luck crew that got working even if it's different ones at times the store is clean always laid out if you're not working on the shelves putting products back and everything you can find an employee within seconds it's not like the other Walmart in Danville and I like this one they pretty much have a product that I need for that you would need even consider there a smaller version of the big Walmart so this is a good one stop in

Everything I was looking for was in stock, and the checkout process was simple, with little wait to do so. The checkout host, Dylan was very helpful ringing up the one item, I was having trouble getting to ring up. Not as close as other grocery stores in my area, but I have made it my regular grocery store due the cleanliness, availably of items, & helpful staff.

Very happy with The Market. Advantages over Super Walmart? 1) Better parking 2) Ease of getting in and out 3) Grocery selection 4) Drugstore and pickup window 5) Gas station 6) Friendly manager and staff, and 7) Neatness and cleanliness. Glad to see the store is thriving.

I love going to the Walmart marketplace because if I'm only there for groceries, I don't have to deal w the crowd. They have pretty much everything I need. Plus the employees are much friendlier and helpful than the Super Walmart here.
