Got told my prescription would be ready yesterday at 3:30pm when I dropped it off at 12pm yesterday. Got here today and they are still working on it? Having gout and having to stand here and suffer while waiting for your medication is so much fun.Edit: I'm only here and not cvs because my insurance no longer accepts cvs. This interaction is making me cvs something fierce.Edit 2: A man comes in and they have his script ready. I asked him when they put it in and he informed me 8pm last night. So not sure why mine took so long when they had over 7 extra hours to fill it. So all in all roughly 8-9 hours yesterday and an additional 2 hours today.

The employees are generally nice, but the Pharmacy is very short-staffed right now and have cut their hours from 9am-9pm to 9am-6pm. The pharmacy also closes for random reasons without notifying customers coming to pick-up prescriptions. Their automated phone notification system is great about reminding you to pickup your prescriptions but neglect to tell you that they are closed on the same day during normal business hours.

The S. Main location is my favorite drugstore and I had no problems with them for years... UNTIL October 8, when I couldn't get one of my Rx's. I was w/o it for nearly a month before it was filled. But I now realize that it was my insurance company's fault that I received the med too late, not Walgreens. Yet anyway, I finally got what needed and now I'm a faithful customer again. It's a good drugstore; you just need to be patient when you get prescriptions from them.

This is a great location for Walgreens, considering the proximity to the hospital and other medical offices. The store is nice (newly built), and it is nicely stocked. Customer service is decent. The drive-thru is nice, but sometimes it takes a while. Yet as with most drugstores, prices are high. Still, this store is there when in need.

As said before, cashiers are wonderful. They'll laugh and joke with you if there is no line. They are also very nice to my two kids that wander the store everytime I go in. Also, their points reward system is great. I spend so much money there, so I get all kinds of coupons and cashback.

I bought a pack of m&ms to get change for a twenty they gave me a counterfeit 10 dollar bill I didn't notice until I tried to spend it in another store the other store said it was counterfeit and wouldn't give it back so I can show Walgreens so I went back to Walgreens and they said nothing they can do. I could have been arrested because of them I dont expect to get counterfeit money from a store the least they could have done was give me my ten dollars back. Like I said I could've been arrested

Why doesn’t at least one of your locations in this city provide 24 hr pharmacy service? ( Danville VA)It is ridiculous that after 9 pm, noone can access medication for emergency illnesses. I am visiting, sick child, I was given a prescription to fill by MedExpress a little after 8 pm the neighborhood Walgreens is closed. 😡 I am told That I may be able to catch a pharmacy all the way in Martinsville Va, REALLY 😤 I get to the Walgreens on Riverside at 9:18 pm. Disappointed! It was completely closed!Please don’t let crime rate be a factor, because the capital city ( Richmond Va ) has 24 hour locations. This needs to change!

Cashiers go above and beyond with customer service. Great points system on purchases. If you shop at cvs piney forest you will deal with much nicer employees at walgreens. It s worth the time to try out the store. You will find good specials weekly.

The slowest ive ever had to fill my meds. The last few times i been i always end up waiting over the amount time they tell me. Or if i call it in it still takes longer then what they tell me. Dont tell me 15-20 and im there for almost 45 mins and dont tell me an hour when i call it in for it not to be ready for an hour and a half. Wont be going back.
